Hey Joe!! I went to see you twice in the "Metropolitan Theater" in Mexico, and both concerts rocked, however my favorite was the last one because you played with the guitar player that opened the concert with the song "I´m going down". I hope that guy joins the G3 someday cause he has some skills, I wonder what was the name of that band. I think you saw me (I was the kid with a blue hat like the ones you use and son glasses).Anyway I hope you come quite soon to Mexico City (next time without technnical problems that keeps us waiting for an hour) and with the same band that openned the concert.

...what/where/when were you most surprised to hear Joe's music, or hear someone mention him? (Do the stu quote)

On a BBC prorogramme , called Countryfile , on a Sunday lunchtime , All Alone was played.in the background. And , in soap opera Eastenders , nasty Nick Cotton wore a t-shirt with joe's face and EOC on it.

I just saw a 8 year old on Fox News, playing the blues. He was asked how he got started. He said "I saw a Joe Satriani video when I was 5, and told my dad, that is what I want to do". He started taking lessons and playing then.

Thought that was kind of cool!!!

I think Joe's saying "Z.Z., the fans must recognize you from the Super Colossal podcasts...quick, make your escape while I sign this guitar!"

andy of uk - I remember hearing about that Eastenders plug back when it happened...a lot of T2Jers mentioned it, so I'd say yeah that probably has to be one of the most surprising appearances.

Does anyone else have any others? I'm still thinking...

GODGUNSGUITARS - OK, I just saw your post...that one is pretty unexpected as well.

Wooley and Keniko, yes, I believe that's ZZ, he and dad are out for a casual stroll, looking for a skate park. Poor ZZ looks kinda bored with the whole "my dad's a famous rock star" thing, lol.....Joe's such a good dad...and so good to his fans.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO WAVEY, hugs and hope yer day is extra good!! U know chelle, u two coulda split up the celebratory days just a tetch, first wavey today, then u tomorrow...geeeeeeez :)

Mckenna, quit shilly-shallying about it and just do it. U know yer gonna in the end, so bite the bullet and buy yer show tix and commit :)

Ken...thanks...I just say what I feel. I like to think my Joe is also up there with some beautiful angels taking care of him...or maybe he's one now too, watching over his family, and I hope me. I still miss him with every thought, every breath. But he's truly in paradise and happy. I wish I could be happy too, but can't seem to find it without my heart. One day though.

Joe,

Don't know if this is the place to ask questions or not, but I'll be backstage at the Atlanta show nonetheless. Heard about the meet and greet package and I'll be there. 300 bucks is steep though! Last time I got your autograph, it only cost me the price of a pizza! Though that was almost 20 years ago at this point.

Question: Have you tried playing the Ibanez ZR Trem. What are your thoughts on it?

I've never had much luck with signature pedals. Don't get me wrong, it would be great if Joe's pedal can capture his sound, but if it does, then wouldn't he be using it instead of all that other gear?

I was really surprised at the tones on the musterion cd. VERY lush, and reminded me in a way of alot of the earlier stuff as well (those pre-amp board tones from the surfing cd) but with more of that gutteral vocal quality. Very cool tones. If you can get those tones with the satchurator, then I'll probably buy. For now, I'm sticking with the line6 models in the xtlive, as I've gotten very used to it and am NEVER left looking for neat tones. You can always dial up something different with a wide array of software models.

When I was away from the guitar for several years, I was blown away when I came back to it in 05. All this software stuff is just amazing! Literally racks full of gear, for a couple hundred bucks! I was all over it. I spent a good month just dialing in tones before I really started practicing heavy again. It's a blast!

Listening to Dave Weiner. His song Tourmaline has the most beautiful guitar tone. The whole cd is great.

Chee, I really do wish my bday was before his. He could have been born on the 18th or something at least, but his mama had to spit out a 10 pounder. Guess she didn't feel like waiting. lol! It would also help if there wasn't supposed to be thunder storms tonight and all day tomorrow. Had a few roll through already. Kinda makes the day a pisser. Guess I'll just have to have a cocktail or two to bring out the sunshine. lol! I know, I know, it's after 9 p.m., but who cares. I'll aim my desk lamp at my head and I'll be sitting on the beach in no time. lmao!
