njbeast - Yeah, it's cool how that riff shows up way back on Satch Tapes. Some of us (but not me, haha) picked up on that right when the album was released. Tracie's son Chris actually asked Joe about it on Rockline back then, and Joe seemed pretty impressed that he noticed that.

Guitarman77897 - In Lords Of Karma he's using the whammy bar as he plays those notes...on Raspberry Jam Delta-V he's using the whammy pedal.
michelle - Very cool...I assume Summer Song was in the background on TV, but not in the actual venue?
Listening to: Def Leppard - Run Riot

Yes...Joe liked that question :) My son loves all things musical so pays attention to lotsa details :) I betcha he and Joe could talk fer weeks without running outta stuff, lol....

Andalusia in Caracas..... I love this song....

chelle honey, *pat*pat*pat*.....it's gonna be okay sweetie. Hopefully this time around, since it's her second year, won't be as hard as last year. But no matter what, it's a wrench to be sure. I have a friend at work, also named Michelle...her daughter is leaving today to go live in Portland with her dad for her senior year in high school....and she's been trying to be so brave and positive about it but I know inside she's hurting terribly. Our babies do grow up and move away....but they never leave our hearts. And they always need their mommies no matter how old they get :)

Austin, Chris is very much looking forward to our next "Joe-trip", and especially to meeting Mckenna, and the In-n-Out feast, lol!! It just better not rain on our pick-a-nick!

Well Mc, now that you've had a chance to sleep on it, and sobered up (not that u were drunk at all, oh noooo) are ye skerred that u booked yer trip, or still happy and excited?

jsTony, awesome pics of baby Jenna at nine weeks, she's SUCH a beautiful girl :) Lookit how she's holding her head up now!! LOL....the stuffed animals are all bigger than she is!! Gotta say that my favorite pic is the one of her sound asleep next to the bunny....so sweet :)

Mister Geetarman, elixer strings will last u a month or 2 and you know u can buy seperate strings for a dollar or 2?? ...Usually i buy a spare high e or B wen i get a pack of strings, ive a box full of spare strings at home and lots of other various gutiar crap so if it happnes its there... + on a locking trem, u can just move the string down a litle and restring the same string...

well I really did it this time..... I screwed up the bridge, it;s fallen down, pressing against the body of the guitar. I took off all the strings and going to guitar center. I can't do it yet, I need a guitar shop in my bedroom. and now I have to buy all new strings, pay for the service, and all that, so now I am never getting the satchurator.. :(((( >.<

an hour or 2, then just a few days to get it nice i guess, its a complelty obscure irrelevant mindless solo with a bunch of techniques and riffs thrown together, but it sure is fun to play!!

Ibanez RG5EX1 the bridge is supposed to be floating thats why they call it a floating bridge, but it's at the bottom. it has something to do with the springs, but I don't want to mess it up more. so I am going to guitar canter to get it fixed right and learn how to do it myself. >.<

Well once u get ur ahead around it the trem is pretty simple, the bridge floats inbetween the tension of the strings and springs... go to ibanezrules.com or jemsite.com for instructions

...just unlock the string at the nut, loosen the tuner a litle to give more slack... then loosen the bridge and move the string back in... easily done to fix the broken string in a minute

+ Lords of Karma is amazin, one of Joe's best.. its technically cool, it rocks and the outro harmonies are God like

I just watched Mythbusters and I can't believe it, Elephants are actually afraid of mice!, they took a little white mouse, hid it under some elephant dung, and when an elephant came near, they moved the dung and the mouse ran out, and the elephant backed off and went the other way. so they thought that the sudden movement of the dung scared the elephant, so they tested it, and moved just the dung NO mouse, the elephant walked right by it, so the tried the mouse again with two elephants, and both elephants saw it and backed off!!!! ELEPHANTS ARE ACTUALLY SCARED OF MICE!!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!! >.<

Hi there professor........I'LL TRY and make this short..............first i want you to know how true a fan i am sincerely , and how deeply influenced i am with your music .....it was my motivation to keep studying and eventually pass my exams succesfully .. may God bless you with more and more creativity and genius ... Now as for your new album it's brilliant especially for "come on baby" , "out of the sunrise" , "revelation" , "andalusia"(the acoustic part is beautiful and the way it slides towards metal) , and the rest of them...... but i would love if you could come up with songs like "speed of light" (the one that got me hooked with its opera effects) or "the extremist" (i wake up on this song everyday now i have it as my stereo alarm !!!!!) and more ballads please ....i'm sure u have them hidden somewhere screaming : LET ME OUT , LET ME OUT!!!!!............. and more songs like "made of tears" please .......... Oh and is it true that there are plans for a new project with Van Halen ? and if so will it halt your solo career???? ............. And do u think its good to start playing with an acoustic guitar and then move on to an electric , and where to start? (it's really expensive u know) ............oh and do you offer teaching guides or tutorials about playing a guitar the way it should be played???............. hope to hear from u soon ...........

Austin, my daughter heard Summer Song in the background before I did. It was faint, and the crowd and everything was over top of it, so it sounded like it was playing in the venue and not over top with the announcer.

Did anyone else hear Summer Song when France won?

I have this song in my head now beacuse I started a sentence with "all I wanna know is". lol!

Does anyone else ever say something or hear something and yer brain immediately takes you to a song?

T-Bones, does it ever get easier? I had to unpack her food and put it in the fridge & freezer. I opened the freezer and had to put her food in around a a bottle of Jose Cuervo, and a big bottle of rum. I also had to move the little tray that makes penis shaped ice cubes. ffs! It IS college, isn't it :-/ The girl that has been living there by herself all summer... oh boy. lol! Either way, my kids are angels compared to the kid I was. All we can do is hope we've instilled enough good values in them and let them be who they're gonna be. They have a week before school starts and they have to buckle down a bit. I have the feeling it's gonna be a busy week.

Funny bit here -

My niece is having a baby soon. Her boyfriend is hellbent on naming him George, after a relative that recently passed. Middle name will be after baby daddy - Michael, so he will be George Michael lmao! My sis hates the name (I just think it's funny as hell). My sis said that when the baby is born, she will make up a name for him, and call him that instead of George (mainly to piss off baby daddy). I thought for a second and came up with the perfect name. We're going to call him...Ringo :-)

Brian, yep, u can....we're gonna be packed in there like sardines, so security is nowhere to be seen :) The stage is kinda tall, I'm 5 ft 5 in and have to kinda reach up to rest my arms on the stage. Unless they create a barrier in front of the stage for security to stand, we'll be right up against it. So far all the shows we've been to there haven't had any barrier. Click away!

Chelle honey....well....I don't wanna lie to you or sugar coat anything....and each person is different. Your daughter is away at college, whereas Chris is in a DD foster home, so that might affect things but....it is gut wrenching every single time I have to leave him there. That part doesn't get any easier, for me. I hope for you it does, because she is at school and working towards something in her life. So....maybe? But she's always gonna be yer baby that you worry about, no matter what.

Now...lets talk about those penis-shaped ice cubes and life's necessities u found in the freezer....when's the next party and am I invited? :D

LOL...it IS college life after all, and roommates....a whole brand new world fer E I'm thinkin :) She's a good girl honey, u and wavey did a great job...she'll be fine :) Momma might need somma what's in their freezer though, fer her nerves!!
