shredmaster77, this forum is a family of Satch fans, not just strict Joe/guitar/gear talk. We talk about everything here. There is something for everyone. If you need help with gear or playing techniques, you got it. If you need support through tough times or the celebration of victories, you got that too.
I've been on this forum for about 10 years, and I've met some of the nicest, kindest people the world has to offer. It would be a shame to seperate everything into choppy catagories just to make a few people's time on the computer more efficient.
Joe has online lessons now. Sign up and you get more Joe than you can shake a stick at. Dave Weiner has his Riff Of The Week vids on Youtube. There are a lot of options to get guitar & gear info on the web.
If you know there are certain posters who post nothing you want to read, simply skip their post. It's just that easy.
When you come to Satriani.com, you can learn, laugh yer ass off, and sometimes cry. It is what it is, and I think it's great.

Oh ffs, I just tried to answer the one u just sent about what my last email was and it wouldn't even go through...tried sending two last night and one I got an error message saying it was spammed :((((( The other one sez it went through but obviously it dint. I've sent quite a few since that last one you got...FFS!!!
I'll try when I get home sending from a diff email addy and see if you get any of them...I'll re-send all the ones yer missing so be prepared :| Take me off spam!! :)

I Joe, I went to your venezuelan Concert and I have to tell, Thi is the best concert that I had saw, and It will be the best in my hole life i think.
I had a lot of proffesional pretty photos made it by my self. I will send you some or post it on the site.
I could not meet you, but my wife (the girl whit the "I Love Satch" poster") still remaining the hope to meet you sometime

Clarky - So very sad to hear of Maria's passing. She was so nice to me. She would email to keep in touch and we spoke on the phone a few times - always an amazing positive attitude, funny and a real giver. She designed Roy's album cover for me and helped me out a lot. I know she would have done anything to help anyone in need. A real example to us all. We need more people like her but people become more like her because of her. I'll fondly remember her and her example to humanity.

no! it,s nothing sexualy transmitted! .Thats whats actually wrong with my brain when they did the catscan he said it come and goes it moves around it,s vietnam disease he gave me a diagnosis of schizophrenia and some pills just to get me high i have good days and bad days sit feels like a cloudy liquid that come in and out of your brain you cant get it unless well you have walls of rambo bodys in vietnam their was no place to put the bodys the blood mixed with my american amuntion are american amuntion fir and developed vietnam disease is the truth! later wolf2.

This might be a 1st but you are hearing from the mother of your Biggest Fan i.e. John James Scholl - Age 37.
I was not able to hear your new song because 'dial up''
really limit's one while online! I can tell you that as you have described the song; it combines the best of my son's muxic.
Any Jimi Hendrix licks and blues coming from you would be the very best you could ever offer!
I've entered him in your back stage pass give-away and am praying that he is chosen. You are his 'Guitar Playing' Hero!'
He has most of your music and one of your DVD's that he chooses to watch at least every week where we are all exposed.
John most likely never come out with his guitar prowess as he is very shy to play in public and has never had the opportunity to play with other musicians. That alone limits what one can realize as it takes many parts to make a whole.
John has played guitar since he has been 13 having had some lessons only in the tabliture method. He does not play by ear but knows how when he slows down and listens to a song or works phrase by phrase by tabliture-written format.
IF he were able to meet you, it would be his dream. He will be attending your forthcoming Royal Oak Music Theatre
concert so please include Dad!
The other thing about John is he is one of our 'special needs
individuals' and because of that has accepted that he (minus a miracle) will never be able to use his talent nor obtain a job utilizing his many degrees. Sometimes Intelligence works against an individual and that is what has happened in John's case. He's resigned to all this and I must say has accepted his expectations level with a God-Given Humility.
Joe, I've really sharred a lot about John and would hope beyond hope that this 2nd concert he will be seeing of you at the Royal Oak Music Theatre will be the highlight of his life; only you could do it. You are his Guitar Idol!

.I can do what you seen because the secret! .if I eat the secret for 4 weeks and workout I can arm curl 10 pound more eace arm dumbell if i eat it twice a day for 4 years i can arm curl 20-27 pounds more each arm in kingston penitentatiry your not allowed to have it when i WAS AT THE SUPERJAIL THEY WERE were feed me the same stuff except reverse to deactivate my power they came make sure i ate it superjail is reverse if kingston could they would give you reverse the store orders the secret in for me I eat so much the company that makes it called and told me about the changes to it it,s even better now the impact is increasd by average 71% plus the lift it,s getting exspensive but not realy I will be eating some today as a matter of fact ! more coffee later wolf2.

I don't want to make a big deal about this because it seems to have come and gone, but... If you don't like the topics covered here, ask a question or do something to steer a conversation in a direction you like. I know I personally talk about a lot of random stuff here, but I ask a lot of Satch- and music-related questions too.
Quite a few of us have been here for close to 10 years, and we're a big family. It's awesome if you want to be a part of that family too, as it's always cool to meet new fans, but complaining about the things we talk about or the format of the board isn't the best way to make friends here.
So... Someone here said something recently about hearing Satch in the background while watching the Olympics on television. So here's a question...what/where/when were you most surprised to hear Joe's music, or hear someone mention him?

Blue_Moon - "Probably" and "try" aren't good words. Things like "I just bought my plane ticket" and "I'm flying 5,000 miles to see two Satch shows" are much better. Get on it!

....Their we go ,input level okay now a coffee a smoke wait the specified requirement of time then put my work out clothes on then go to my weider free weight room and do the Motor Count.......! good thing I bought more just ran out of that bunch plus I think maybe sometime I eat it as a snack too this new one should be amazing og the main thing can never change but the rest of these new improved stuff looks amazing anyways thats tommorow every day steady again I want that row at 30 curl at 30 same as usual later wolf2.

...hey everything I wear when I workout comes from giant tiger the all canadian discount wholesale store.My sweat suit is starting to breakdown now what I mean is it isnt warm enough not making enough sweat both the pants and the shirts are at about 60 percent could ask my mom ,well their about 7 years old could ask my mom for new sweatsuit for christma but she might order me something more exspensive from sears so who knows gonna examine the sears catalouges now and see if i should spring her! later wolf2.

Good Morning Satchland......How Are We Today?
Clarky.......skimmin' through the post I've read you've lost a good friend. I've never met, talked or saw Maria's art work but from the posts it's clear she was a wonderful talented women. It seems the world has lost another good person and I'm sad for you and her family. God Bless !!!!!
Cheese.....I guess now she's with the angels who are likely as beautiful as she always painted them to be. I know Clarky mentioned this but I feel I had too also as that was one beautiful statement that struck a chord in me(pun intended. I'm a guitarist)) Hugs to you.
On the Satch vid link you posted. Joe seemed a little takin' back by the video. The young man in the vid I'm assuming is ZZ. In the vid Joe turns and says something to him and off he goes. I'm thinking Joe did that to protect his son to keep him out of the line of site. Am I over exaggerating???? Could be....Joe's the best.
