Hey Joe, Yesterday I was down at Real Guitars on Lafayette in SF and played a 2001 Vox AC30 TB. I ended up working a trade deal with the store and now I am the proud owner of said Vox. I have no reason to doubt the guys at RG hat this Vox use to be yours (white piece of tape on the back with "SACH" written on it). If you could be so kind as to elaborate some on it's history to me that you be super. I plan to keep this amp (sounds great with my old G&L ASAT and S-500) I always wanted a Vox. It goes good with my Cornford Harlequin and my Triumph Rocket III motorcycle. I seem to have a British thing. :) Thanks Craig craigbrannon@gmail.com

Hey all, just a question: I think I may have dropped the ball on getting the Club Joe Meet & Greet package for the Edmonton, Alberta, Canada show...the link to buy Premium tickets is still on the tour page here, but not on the Ticketmaster page itself. Is there still a way to get a Meet & Greet for the Edmonton show??

Maritime - Good post. That was a pretty interesting press conference. Joe gave some good insight on a few things. It was interesting to hear how many times he's asked Jeff Beck and Eddie Van Halen to come play a G3. Even Kirk Hammett. But you have to love his positive attitude about why they won't play.

Been trying the harmonics all weekend. Do the Stu, that was a great explanation of harmonics. You're right though, much easier explained than played. I have never really tried harmonics before and have a whole new respect for those who can do them at will. Guess I need to keep practicing.

Satrini - I guess when I finally get these down, then I can move on to the rest. It seems like it takes quite a bit more finess than I currently possess.

Good article -

A Washington Post editorial on Thursday put it well: “On a day when the Congressional Budget Office warned of looming deficits and a grim economic outlook, when the stock market faltered even in the wake of the government’s rescue of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, when President Bush discussed the road ahead in Iraq and Afghanistan, on what did the campaign of Senator John McCain spend its energy? A conference call to denounce Senator Barack Obama for using the phrase ‘lipstick on a pig’ and a new television ad accusing the Democrat of wanting to teach kindergartners about sex before they learn to read.”

McCain's accusationof Obama "wanting to teach kindergartners about sex " is so twisted. The issue was teaching kindergartners what is inappropriate touch to help them protect themselves from sexual preditors. You would hope that would come from the parents, but sometimes it IS the parents doing it, and sometimes the parents are oblivious to the fact that it can happen to their child. It's a sad world when this even has to be an issue, but it is, and it's about time somebody addresses it.

quote from cbsnews.com -

"Campaign spokesman Robert Gibbs told CBS News the legislation Obama supported provided information to children on what to watch for when with an adult they don't know, such as inappropriate advances or touching."

here

Sorry for the Barack-Obuzz, but McCain's campaign is based on blatent lies.

Done with politics. Let's Dance
