Zinc Master - That's a good Sammy Hagar interview...he has a lot of nice things to say about Joe in the second audio clip. Man, I can't wait for this project...

matt king - Yes, I'm still in California. Work has been keeping me pretty busy lately, which kind of sucks...i'ts been consuming my life lately. A little bit of a social life would be nice, you know? Haha... ;-)
Igneousiceman - I wasn't talking about Christmas, I was talking about Christmas albums. It's a subtle difference...haha.

The holiday decorations and stuff start just as early on this side of the pond, too, and it bugs me as well. I think Thanksgiving is a bigger holiday for people on a personal level here, as there's no religion tied to it (no one is "excluded"), but as far as holiday hype in the media and in stores and so on Christmas is by far the biggest holiday of the year.

Glitz Man - The only place you can find Additional Creations at now is Ebay, and be prepared to pay a lot ($75 or so) for it...if you can even find it.

Joe's next release will likely be the PSATMOR live DVD (and CD?) recorded in Paris earlier this year. His first release of new stuff should be the Chickenfoot project with Sammy Hagar...that should be out in early 2009.

MikeyBass - Welcome! Tell us a bit about yourself...
RAAN - OK, cool... How long have you been playing guitar, again? I assume you know your way around the fretboard and everything?

Are you much of an Aerosmith fan? The bass in their music generally doesn't stray too far from what the rhythm guitar is doing, so since you're a guitar player that might be a good place to start learning bass. I can recommend some songs for you, if you'd like. Or if you hate Aerosmith, I can come up with some different stuff. ;-)

Listening to: The Electromagnets - The Electromagnets (current song: Blackhole)

Keniko- thats great that your excited about your new band. did you read my last post? I'm comin home man!! wife decided it would be best to raise our family there. i am very happy, to freakin hot here. and people drive like idiots. i could give a list but that is the top two. really want to come check you out when i get back probably in December. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Michelle- why do Obama fans have such a selective memory. he was the one who wouldn't do the townhall meetings reeemember. mcain isn't going because of the countrys financial crisis that were in. do you even live in the states? Obama agian shows poor judgment.

lorenzo001, no, I don't have a selective memory. My memory tells me that we've been in trouble financially for months now. For McCain to bag out of this debate is senseless. A president is supposed to be able to handle many a crisis at once. This just shows he can only do one thing at a time. Obama isn't playing McCain's assinine game, and is waiting for the REAL debates. McCain said himself, the campaign wouldn't have gotten nasty if Obama would have agreed to his town hall debates. I'm sorry brother, but if he's gonna get nasty with every world leader who doesn't do as he wishes, we're in deep shit! He's showing the world it must be his way or they will pay the price. That's just what we need. A friggin yahoo "maverick" in the White House to represent America. We're winding up 8 years of that in January. I hope and pray Bush is the last "good ol' boy" in the White House.

I think this covers it nicely -

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid issued a statement saying that the presidential debate should go on and that McCain's negotiations should not be a "photo op." "It would not be helpful at this time to have them come back during these negotiations and risk injecting presidential politics into this process or distract important talks about the future of our nation's economy," the statement said. "We need leadership, not a campaign photo op.

"If there were ever a time for both candidates to hold a debate before the American people about this serious challenge, it is now," he added.

Here's what Barack-O said -

"It's my belief that this is exactly the time when the American people need to hear from the person will be the next president," Obama said. "It is going to be part of the president's job to deal with more than one thing at once. It's more important than ever to present ourselves to the American people."

I would certainly never want to get into a political discussion with anyone here, especially becuase this site I think is more for good banter but my personal opinion (not to take any party's side) is that they are both still Senator's. I believe they are morally bound to get their tails to the Senate and get this situation resolved. Missing 1 debate will not swing the entire United States voting population one way or the other. Now I don't agree with putting off the entire election. But I can't imagine this will take more than several days to get resolved. Then they can hold 2 debates in less time. Our country is in a very hard time right now and voters voted on McCain AND Obama to do a job. Their job is to take care of these issues.

But hey, all I can say is that I'm glad I'm not in government!! What a mess they all have!! Hell, my biggest problem in life right now is trying to get clear harmonics on my guitar! LOL.

Hey Joe, this is my first post. I've been a fan for many years. I love my JS1000. I played an old '65 Gibson Melody Maker (suped up by myself) for about 30 years, so it was a little hard getting the old fingers used to it. But it's a great guitar for sure. I've seen you twice before at the Florida Theatre, and will attend again Oct.28th. Thanks for all the great songs throughout the years. Take care.
