After several drinks, one of the men had to use the rest room.

Those who remained talked about their kids. The first guy said, 'My son is my pride and joy.He started working at a successful company at the bottom of the barrel. He studied Economics and Business Administration and soon began to climb the corporate ladder and now he's the president of the company. He became so rich that he gave his best friend a top of the line Mercedes f or his birthday.' The second guy said, 'Darn, that's terrific! My son is also my pride and joy. He started working for a big airline, then went to flight school to become a pilot. Eventually he became a partner in the company, where he owns the majority of its assets He's so rich that he gave his best friend a brand new jet for his birthday.'

The third man said: 'Well, that's terrific! My son studied in the best universities and became an engineer. Then he started his own construction company and is now a multimillionaire. He also gave away something very nice and expensive to his best friend for his birthday: A 30,000 square foot mansion.'

The three friends congratulated each other just as the fourth returned from the restroom and asked: 'What are all the congratulations for?'

One of the three said: 'We were talking about the pride we feel for the successes of our sons. .What about your son?'

The fourth man replied: 'My son is gay and makes a living dancing as a stripper at a nightclub.'

The three friends said: 'What a shame... what a disappointment.'

The fourth man replied: 'No, I'm not ashamed. He's my son and I love him. And he hasn't done too bad either. His birthday was two weeks ago, and he received a beautiful 30,000 square foot mansion, a brand new jet and a top20of the line Mercedes from his three boyfriends.'

I bought the new Metallica cd tonight. I only got to listen to the first two songs so far, but I like it. The music is killer, and Lars got his head out of his ass and is not trying to "have a different sound" like he did in *CRINGE* St. Anger. I'd like to shove that friggin snare up his Danish....well, you know. LOL! That was the most horrible sounding drumming in the entire Metallica catalog IMO. Anyways, I won't be able to listen to it again until tomorrow night. I don't think my parents would enjoy my rockin' out to Metallica on the ride to and from the hospital tomorrow. lol! I could play it quietly just so I could hear it, BUT IT'S METALLICA!!! lol! You have to let the sound surround you in the car. lol! It would be a great ride to air out some good cd's, but...oh hell, we'll see how it goes. lol!

elpp, I'm guilty as charged. lol! It's amazing what people will hang on to in a political race. I actually hate politics. Always did, but this is the first time in my life that I believe there's actually a guy worth fighting for. This time I'll actually be voting for someone I WANT in the White House, not just "either guy is a lose/lose situation" so just push democrat. Before all you green party ppl say there's more than 2 ppl to vote for in a presidentail election - there really isn't. To me, it's just a wasted vote. Anyways, the debates will show what's up, and the lies will be debunked, and people can decide who the best man is...which is Obama

;-) lmao!!

Al, the Republic Of Ireland is about to make a whole lot of money! lmao! Keeping drunks off the streets of Ireland is like keeping bubble gum off the streets of New York. It ain't gonna happen. lol!

T-Bone, love that 64! Tell yer parents they have to stay married for another 64! God Bless 'em!

Been abit since i posted thought i would say G'day from Downunder :) :)

Well back working :) or should i say killin myself :( my back is knackered thats aussie for stuffed :( but your gettin me thru it Satch :) :) :) :)

By the way anyone here ever started a new job and stipulated they have to get Holidays when Satch comes to town LOL cause i did the boss looked at me Satch i said yep a guitarist from the U.S he said oh ok i said thanks just wanna make sure it will be OK cause i plan on doing every gig next tour. :) :) :) :) pretty Cool if ya ask me .

Ok Metallica's new album i like it actually i like it alot i downloaded all the songs for guitar hero on Xbox 360 i didnt want to buy the album going on the last efforts StAnger etc but i am going to 4 sure yes it's Metallica as soon as u hear it but there is something about Kirk's guitar playing on some of the songs that is well do i dare say a Satch and Vai kind of flavour with that Kirky kinda tone etc

My above comments will probably get me shot but it's just my opinion i dont think it's gonna ever be the days of Ride, Puppets or Justice For All they are truly great albums but its up there i think with the black album in playability

And is anyone going to Dragonforce in Melbourne Australia on 25th oct ?????
Or has anyone seen em in concert are they worth going to see the tickets are only like $66 so i was thinking of going try catch a Herman Li plectrum :) :) :) ?????????????

Thanks for the BIlly Connolly (and other) videos, everyone...

cheese101 - Awesome...it's really cool to see an acoustic guitarist win that competition. It's great to hear Joe and Steve say such good things about her, too. I'm not at all surprised they liked her as much as they did, or that she won it all.

Everyone should check out some of Vicki Genfan's other music. I hear a lot of Michael Hedges in her playing...it's very nice.

And Tracie, less than two months until Satch...woohoo! :-)

gotta have Joe - You've got mail (or you will, as soon as I'm done here)...
dream3 - "anyone here ever started a new job and stipulated they have to get Holidays when Satch comes to town"

A few weeks ago I was kicking around the idea of taking a reporting job at another paper, and my Satch road trip was one of the reasons (but not the top reason) why I didn't do it.

LOUD & PROUD RECORDS ANNOUNCES SAMMY HAGAR AS FIRST SIGNING

Multi-Platinum Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar will release a new album on Loud & Proud Records on November 18th.

Cosmic Universal Fashion marks the first official release for Loud & Proud, a Roadrunner Records imprint focusing on established artists.

The title track and first single, Cosmic Universal Fashion, was written as an online collaboration between Hagar and a young Iraqi rock and roller by the name of Steven Lost.

Released via Sammy's website RedRocker.com and already a YouTube sensation, the video was produced in the same spirit as the classic Van Halen video for “Right Now, ” and strikes a timely chord with November's upcoming Presidential election.

“We are light years ahead of where we thought we'd be in 1992, yet there will always be issues that continue to need our attention,” said Hagar. “With the upcoming election, global and national issues are at the forefront of everyone's minds. 'Cosmic Universal Fashion' is not about supporting left or right, blue or red, but rather an attempt to appeal to people on a personal level to get involved.”

The track listing for Cosmic Universal Fashion is as follows: Cosmic Universal Fashion, Psycho Vertigo, Peephole, LOUD, Fight For Your Right To Party, Switch On The Light, When The Sun Don't Shine, 24365, I'm On A Roll, Dreams/Cabo.

Globally known as the “Red Rocker” (after his anthem “Red” from 1977's self-titled album), Hagar has led a storied career.

From his first band Montrose through his years as frontman for Van Halen to his current status as solo artist with his band The Wabos, Hagar has seen over 60 million in record sales, won 2 Grammys, and along with Van Halen, won 3 MTV VMAs for “Right Now.” In addition to his musical endeavors, Hagar is the founder of world-renowned Cabo Wabo tequila and has several charities which he supports.

In November, Hagar is set to perform two shows in St. Louis benefiting Blessings In A Backpack, a program whereby underprivileged children are sent home from school on a Friday with a backpack full of nutritious food, designed to keep them eating healthy throughout the weekend.
