hey elpp: do other pages do it?

I've had no issues on IE7, safari (not sure of version) and chrome beta.

There's no code on the page to request a reload, it sounds like your browser is crapping out and retrying. There's style sheets in there, but I don't think they'd cause that. about the only culprit I can see is the qt satch video, but that's on every page, so let me know if you can load other pages ok.... ok?

Thanks, Roo

I'm own 2 Ibanez guitars, a JS100 and a RG27SP. I love them both.
My son is left handed so it makes it hard to find a decent guitar for him. I have ordered a left hand Ibanez RG370DXL. It's a surprise present so he hasn't tried it. Did I do well? anyone tried this model either as left handed or right?
It's got to be better the cheap Greg Bennett he has now.

Roo, all the other pages load up fine. Can't pin down exactly how to replicate the problem, direct linking fails some times and works other times, navigating to it from the menu is doing the same thing. I guess you can chalk it up to my computer, worry about it only if other people complain as well. (I still have IE6, work computer, we won't be getting IE7 until after October). Keep it up bro!

Michelle: those are good, some are even quite interesting as serious questions. But you need to add the biggest dilemma of all: Why doesn't DTS want to buy a cake for all the forumers??

Although I see you're closing in on 5,000 posts....2 cakes, perhaps???

jejeje. I obviously need a sugar fix today. Must've been that caldo from yesterday that drained all the sugar off my body. After that post I realized I have no clue how to translate caldo into english. It's like soup but with meat, potato, carrots, red rice and other assorted green vegetables. Stew, maybe??

I'll pick on this one: Why are you IN a movie, but you're ON TV? = Same reason you are IN a soap opera and ON the big screen... One talks about the content, the other is the medium you are display on. Sorry, that's the nerd showing through....

HOWEVER! You do appear on a chat-show, not in one! And you also appear BOTH IN and ON the news.

Oh crap, I'm not so cleverer...er.........er.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Is anyone else having a problem on the CommercialCDs page? please let me know, I want it to be a great site for everyone.

Thanks also for the G3 date and the feedback on the site overall. It's sorta pointless putting this stuff up if it doesn't help people at all, though it's a good catalog for me as well.

I will be trying to get a complete tour history up, including G3. And maybe link it back into this site to leverage and support the effort in gig reviews, attendance and the like that is being done here.

So it'll evolve into a mega-mash-up of the collection, google maps, Joe site, maybe other fan sites as they have material that contributes, etc..

But then again, it's not my full time job, so some mashing may take time to achieve.

ty Brian....they are pretty special to me :)

Chelly, I don't know, can they? lol....they're getting up there, and get confused at times, but never forget each other :) I lurve them too :)

Mc, I'm really sorry about the job...I agree with what chelle said....maybe u skerred them cuz yer TOO good to work there....mebbe u knew more than the guy interviewing u and he got threatened. Sigh...I dunno...but yep, they don't know what they're missing. Loved the video btw, it's a great song.

Victoria, I'm really sorry you're hurting, that sux big time. I think the worst part is the tug of war your emotions are under....the back-and-forth stuff is so hard to deal with. It's so much easier if it's a clean break, or black and white decision. But usually when it comes to the heart, it's a lotta grey. Take care of yourself as best you can while you heal. I've been told that all things happen for a reason, and whatever is meant to be is what will be. That's no real help, I know. I'm sending u hugs too.

Hi Joe, how is the studio work going? Bet you guys are having all kinds of fun together....did ya take the wigs with?

:)

mjs99, the RG370DXL is good until you play something better... the trem is cheap, but everything else kinda holds... I swapped the pups on mine and now it's pretty good, but the minute I bought a prestige ibanez, that guitar never felt the same... I keep it cuz it's kinda stupid to sell it after spending so much money on it, but I probably won't be buying another one of those... For a beginner I'd say it's more than enough, I don't know if you'd be better off getting a mexican strat, that's debatable... I guess it depends on the musical style... For hard rock and metal, the ibanez might be the best one within that price range... hope this helps...

I forgot to mention this earlier, but I just bought tickets to the Experience Hendrix tour with Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox.

This is a continuation of the thing Satch was a part of back in 2004. This year's tour is larger, though, and includes Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Eric Johnson, Robby Krieger, and Buddy Guy, among others. Awesome...!

guitarpickinson - Sorry to hear your seats are on the end of the row. One of the reasons why I'll never buy one of the ticket packages is you don't know your exact seat location when you buy them.

I hope you're still able to enjoy the show...

elpp / roo - Can you post the link that's giving trouble? I'll try it out and see if I have any problems...most of that site has been loading just fine for me, though.
Tuesdayschild - michelle posted some DMB YouTube things that are a good place to start. I'll still get some MP3s together for you later, though... :-)

G3 with Satriani, Vai and Petrucci.
Friday 1st December 2006.
Hordern Pavilion, 1 Driver Ave, Moore Park, NSW, 2021.
Show kicked off at 7:30pm. Ticket price was $110

cosmic_ape:
Thanks for the feedback. Seeing as my young bloke is left handed, it could be a while before he gets the chance to pick up something better. He'll never know the delights of walking into any music store and trying any guitar you like.
We were also considering a Jackson DK2 Dinky or a ESP LTD M-100FM. The Jackson was just over budget and the ESP was crap.
As long as he can bash out Trivium he'll be happy. I thing the RG will do nicely.
