Joe,

My kids and I love your music. They always ask me about your song "If I could Fly". They want you to know that if are "Surfing with the Alien" you surely could fly. They say they would show you how. Check them out here on Youtube:

Christopher 9

Allen 11

Instead of "flying in a blue dream" we could go flying in the blue sky.

Your music makes our imaginations soar. Rock on!

Paul, Allen, and Christopher

Cosmic_ape....My mom paid $30 for a keychain once, from coach purses, just a thumb sized model of a purse.

Cheese101....He also played Surfing With The Alien that day, but he played it extremely fast. And YAAAYY!!!! TABBOOK FOR PSATMOR!!!!!! too bad I learned most of the songs by ear.....well most of the songs......now I can learn the whole song!

WOW I never realized it said "the satchurator is pedal coming" good catch, that's funny!

Satriella.....Wow those answers were actually put on the test! WOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!

Al.....You and your dreams.....

John....Ah okay.....I was wondering, you're only a few months older than me, and I am a junior (3 year out of four in highskool) how could you be in college unless you're insanely smart

I had my first day yesterday and It was weird. I decided to take woodshop.....I walk in and see the teacher stuffing a wooden board into a machine....AND IT CATCHES ON FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!! then he starts runnung around the room looking for the fire extinguisher and puts it out. then when he talks he slurs his words, I SWEAR HE IS A DRUNK!!!!!! and he makes us do pushups, so i dropped the class. and I have astronomy and get to go to the planetarium every day. STATE OF THE ART BABY!!!! Hey john. heres a question for you. the big bear (Ursa Major) the tail part, what is it called there? here it is known as the BIG DIPPER, I have heard it as the plow and soo many more.

anyways I am going to get my tickets for the chicago show soon. Definately the longest post I have ever posted. Still learning Cryin' L8R >.<

Skippygirl - I play bass, but not on any professional level. I wish I had more time. :-(

Tuesdayschild - Can you upload a video of the song written for your ex-husband? I never could get it to play on the band's website and I'd still like to hear it.
Joe Satrini - How long ago did you send the Super Colossal email, and did you send it to Gmail or AOL?

If it went to Gmail, my spam filter may have caught it...if you tell me the date/time you sent it I can go look for it. If it went to AOL, my mailbox filled up this morning and it might have bounced back to you. So you might have to send it again. But I use Gmail more than AOL now, so send it to that address (it's in my profile here).

Thanks... :-)

cosmic_ape - Yeah, the Sam Ash store on Sunset is pretty cool...it's been a few years since I was last there, though. Maybe I'll stop by next time I'm up that way.

There are a ton of awesome music venues up here. Have you ever heard of The Baked Potato? They book a lot of crazy jazz/rock/fusion stuff. I saw Mike Keneally there a few years back. I just looked at their schedule and it looks like he's playing there again Saturday.

Anyway, keep that venue in mind...it's a cool one, and tickets are pretty cheap.

Igneousiceman - Way to be all confusing...geeze! ;-) Actually, I should've known better...you crazy UKers call college "university", don't you?
Listening to: Joe Satriani - Joe Satriani (current song: Moroccan Sunset)

I haven't listened to this album in quite a while. Cool #9 is one of my least favorite Satch songs (I know most people will disagree with me), but it's cool hearing it in it's original form here. Anyway...

I get the JS95 on tape. Like the shadows drums..

Cool#9 gets a very cool whammy work.

One of my fav tracks is Luminous Flesh Giants. One of the best Joe Bluesrock.

I also love a lot the Slow Down Blues progression. Great job.

Zf: To be honest, at this point I'm not sure what career to follow. I was thinking of medicine or something like that. But, I like les langues...except grammar. Which is what I ended up doing for about THREE hours today. German followed by le francais. C'etait un peu barbant, malheuresement. (see, I actually know some french...=D)

Matt: Well, 'insanely' smart may be a sliiiiight over-exaggeration...;-) Pushups would be a welcome diversion from conjugating verbs I can tell you. Big Dipper sounds ok...I was once on a trip over in the states (won a competition) and we were in a planetarium near Cocoa Beach FL; we had a 'lesson' on the night sky, so I should know more about that. I don't though...(that seemed like a waste of typing time)

DTS: You got that all wrong pal, it's you crazy USA'ers that call University 'college'....=D

Weekend now, no college for two days...time for a nice long sleep. Oh, and homework...

WHEN YOU COME TO CALGARY, PLEASE DO A CLINIC OR SOMETHING AT AXEMUSIC!!!!!!

I, and a whole lot of other dedicated guitar players would really really LOVE it if you could just do a clinic at the biggest music store in town. That store is hosting michael angelo battio, and tons of other famous acts, and yeah, you should really go.

Finally saw the last Burton, the musical movie Sweeney Todd.

Dark image, luminous music, tragic story, comic dynamism... well.. Ironic.

Simply marvelous.
