JSPhil: That is one niiice bike my friend. Lovely seat tube don't you think? (god that sounded geeky...) Carbon fibre though...bit risky! Bet it would be an absolute joy to ride.

DTS: It's surprising how many people in pictures taken for course booklets etc. look sooo out of place. They even reversed on image for a booklet. Now why bother doing a thing like that?! Anyway, that's enough of me rambling about oddities...=D

Anyone else heard about Windows 7? I only just got vista, and now they're on about a new one...geez.

DTS, I wikipedia's DMB, but I'm not familiar with any of it. I'd like it very much if you could send me something, it's not possible to PM my email address to you is it? I think my email is on my profile anyway...click my name....

It was Through the Glass that came on my CD player yesterday, great song, and I've heard that before about Corey Taylor, I think you're right about the ego.

I think I messed up big time ending things with that guy, maybe I should have just accepted ex gf's presence, it's not like he was still involved with her in THAT way, although she did have the annoying habit of telling people she was his girlfriend. I'm really regretting it now, but I texted him and I think it's too late...he says I'm confusing him, that I'd said I didn't want contact from him anymore. He says he doesn't think he needs another relationship....

I'm a dumb sh*t

Igneousiceman - Assuming you're still watching it, have you seen me on LISF yet?

Tuesdayschild - I'm leaving for work in a few minutes, but I'll send you some DMB stuff later tonight. I see your email address in your profile here so that's good.

It's really hard to describe the band's sound. I guess you could call it acoustic rock, but with the sax jazz is just as much a part of it too. And then their violinist plays a lot of pentatonic stuff, which is almost bluesy. But yeah, I'll send you some stuff. They do a killer version of All Along The Watchtower...I think I'll start with that.

About the guy, I think you're really better off without having to deal with that whole situation. If his ex disappears maybe consider something, but I wouldn't bother with it now. At this point it sounds like you may be able to at least salvage a friendship, which would probably be good considering his connection to your ex.

elpp: thanks for the feedback

Not sure what you meant be "loops back to itself" I called it up fine. What is the symptom you're seeing?

As to music, I want to put up sound bytes, I won't be putting up whole songs.

I've thought about it about it a few times, but every time I think that I can only justify a sound byte, because it's a tease of the cool stuff Joe does.

But I feel putting a complete track up, even if it's available elsewhere on the net, is taking something away from Joe. He works hard and I want to do everything to help him succeed and get a good compensation for his effort.

So, in short, I want to give sound bytes for all tracks and performances, but will not provide full songs, unless they are approved by Joe and the relevant people.

Roo: I clicked on the commercial CD's link on the main menu and it took me to that page I posted. It seemed to be loading something and then it would refresh and start all over again. Did this about 10 times until I stopped it, and never displayed anything beyond the header. At this moment (3:57 pm in US Mountain time) it's still doing it. Weird!

I totally agree with you on the sound bytes, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Of all people you should be the least likely to cause harm to Joe by putting up a massive bootleg collection for all to download.

And yet the selfish fan in me thinks that it would be absolutely awesome... don't get mad at me Joe!!! :)

Hi all, this is a mesage to inform you that a vendor (ticket-_aster) is misleading consumers while using your name, i purchased premium tickets to the 10-18 show in new york as a way to thank my guitar teacher for his outstanding effort with me this year, knowing the tickets were expensive i read and reread the information on the website , the deal was the first 12 rows in FRONT of the stage ,the seating chart was very unclear -well i purchased the tickets and then had the brainstorm to check another vendor for a better seating chart-ouch-i am within the first 12 rows but will be plastered against the wall-the last two seats in the row stage right-well #1 that is not why i paid just over 150 per ticket and while the hat and picks are cool i have plenty #2 i wonder what my teacher will think when he seated against a wall, i contacted vendor and was told to pound salt no refunds or exchanges,i disputed with credit card co. with no success so thats it,listen i know lifes a bitch but thats unfair in my book, i hope you (JOE S) read this and can stop it from happening to others-i knew i should have just gone to Starland Ballroom instead they alway's put on a good show

hey elpp: do other pages do it?

I've had no issues on IE7, safari (not sure of version) and chrome beta.

There's no code on the page to request a reload, it sounds like your browser is crapping out and retrying. There's style sheets in there, but I don't think they'd cause that. about the only culprit I can see is the qt satch video, but that's on every page, so let me know if you can load other pages ok.... ok?

Thanks, Roo

I'm own 2 Ibanez guitars, a JS100 and a RG27SP. I love them both.
My son is left handed so it makes it hard to find a decent guitar for him. I have ordered a left hand Ibanez RG370DXL. It's a surprise present so he hasn't tried it. Did I do well? anyone tried this model either as left handed or right?
It's got to be better the cheap Greg Bennett he has now.

Roo, all the other pages load up fine. Can't pin down exactly how to replicate the problem, direct linking fails some times and works other times, navigating to it from the menu is doing the same thing. I guess you can chalk it up to my computer, worry about it only if other people complain as well. (I still have IE6, work computer, we won't be getting IE7 until after October). Keep it up bro!

Michelle: those are good, some are even quite interesting as serious questions. But you need to add the biggest dilemma of all: Why doesn't DTS want to buy a cake for all the forumers??

Although I see you're closing in on 5,000 posts....2 cakes, perhaps???

jejeje. I obviously need a sugar fix today. Must've been that caldo from yesterday that drained all the sugar off my body. After that post I realized I have no clue how to translate caldo into english. It's like soup but with meat, potato, carrots, red rice and other assorted green vegetables. Stew, maybe??

I'll pick on this one: Why are you IN a movie, but you're ON TV? = Same reason you are IN a soap opera and ON the big screen... One talks about the content, the other is the medium you are display on. Sorry, that's the nerd showing through....

HOWEVER! You do appear on a chat-show, not in one! And you also appear BOTH IN and ON the news.

Oh crap, I'm not so cleverer...er.........er.
