Squier Strat Guy- Joe's first guitar was a hagstrom 3

John-where you off to now?

Al-You haven't been on halo3 in a while. too busy with GTA 4?

My guitar is fixed and sounding nice again, learned the rest of AWYAWM I have known the beginning and middle but never got to the end, I always went by ear, but now I have a tab book.

I think I am going to buy Rainbow six Vegas 2. It's a fun game all for this particular moment in time.

Do_The_Stu,

Hey, thanks for the info and yes I would love to hear the missing track!!!!! I thought about the waiting after the show thing to get to meet him however, the area the show is in is not the best place to be late at night in Atlanta. Maybe I can get my brother the cop to come and stand with me and be my bodyguard? :) If I do get to meet him, I'm gonna ask about the album to see if there would be anyway to get a copy from him. Talk at ya laterz

"Talk to me" is an awesome fun track, I posted a snip of it (not full track) to sample on my old page many years ago, foranyone interested in hearing a bit of it:

http://roo.emu.id.au/Satch/JoeEP.html

I won't post the whole track... If Joe wants to re-release it he'll do it when it's the right time. I understand the original is damaged, but he's got access to the same verison I have off the vinyl.

Victoria, the tattoo shows the guy had enough respect for your husband to carry his name forever. I don't know the guy, but I believe he will have enough respect for your ex to take care of you very well. Sounds like a good deal to me...as long as he doesn't have yer ex's name tattooed on his ass cheek or anything. lol! That's a whole different ballgame. lol!

revan, thanks for the band comment. My son has no intention on quitting. He loves the band - the band loves the band. My husband and I..we sometimes don't love the band so much. lol! Just kidding, but when they take over the house every weekend, and they're soooo loud, it kinda wears ya down. lol!

satrini, my birthday was good. Sorry for the delay in my answer. I had a lovely day :-)

update on my pop - it was all good till the anesthesia wore off. He was in so much pain overnight he couldn't sleep. They had to change his meds. You would think an epidural and morphine would stop any pain ffs! They had him sitting in a chair when I called him today. His voice was rough, way rougher than last night. Poor dude. He sounded so wore out. My mom & my sis were there to see him today. Tomorrow I'll take my mom. It's gonna be a long couple of weeks for him. Keep those prayers and good vibes coming - and thanks.

For everyone who asked:

Joe Satriani - Talk To Me

I have no idea where this file came from originally. I probably found it on Kazaa way back when. I have some other older Satch things that I can post as well...I'll go through them all over the next few days.

Anyway, you might hear something on this track that sounds a bit familiar...enjoy!

(Joe, I figure it's OK to post things like this that aren't commercially available...but if you'd rather I don't, let me know and I'll stop. Thanks...)

Onto the life of Austin...I've had a busy last few days and as a result haven't been to the gym for about a week and a half. I went tonight and found out that I lost 2.5 since the last time I had been there...not bad!
WATERGIRL - Welcome to the site! :-)
Blue_Moon - SF is GA so you won't have a seat number. ;-) And find out where you're sitting in Reno...I don't think I ever asked you.

I'm on the left and Tracie is on the right, which means you're probably in the back center or something goofy like that. Because it'd make too much sense for us T2Jers to be able to sit next to each other... :-/

Tuesdayschild - I guess my biggest gripe with myself is just that I don't have many opportunities to meet women. I'm done with college and I work evenings/nights, so it makes things tough. I agree that the right relationship is worth waiting for, but I don't know...part of me also thinks it'd be nice to be able to say "screw it" and just go for something for a few months. But I don't really have that opportunity...

I'm fine with it though, even though I guess I complain a lot...

Kilgelec - I don't really know anything about the venue Joe is playing in Atlanta, but you don't have to worry even if it is in a bad part of town. You won't be the only fan waiting around after the show...you can expect a crowd of 10 to 20 people waiting there with you.

blue moon, i really love my strat. i have had it since 1981. i am going back and forth from a jem7v and the strat all the time. i prefer the strats neck slighty more than the ibanez's but the are so similar, the only real diff is the space between frets. the jem just has a bit more punch due to the humbuckers. i am strongly considering getting a js1200. i have had some gibsons too. i had a les paul custom. it was a fine guitar but was stolen. had an sg and got rid of it. i have always wanted a telecaster too.

any of you west coasters coming to see the shows in sunny florida??? you really need to and also get to say you survived a hurricane.

hi guys.... I've finally completed the song I wrote for Maria..

I performed it at her funeral.. which was as sad as it was beautiful..

given that it was Satch's music that braught us together, I thought it fitting to throw in a few Satch-esque moments here and there..
a sort of musical acknowledgement to the man himself and a thanks for being the birthing point of such a long and deep friendship...

so here it is...

Alana Cameron at the wolf is a little bit nut,s hey joe she doe,s news man she was doing this radio commercial for cars a couple week,s ago and said you have a hint of aftershave bla bla bla .Aperently it seem,s as though Alana doesnt know that aftershave is medicine and I am the only one under law in peteborugh county allowed to wear use the shave after! you see both aftershave and Cloghne are medicine every police car has an aftershave and colohne detcetor reader in it it,s sworen if your wearing it within ten years your charged 7 tickes or incaecreated you dont go around wearing medicine for insanity you see it,s penetrates my face whic feed nerves that go to my brain that exspose external forms of insanity that is why Im allowed and have to pass detcetr by wearing it colohne I am the only person in the country allowed to wear clohnge the cohlohne keeps my eyes working it lubricates my eye lids makes eye fluid and keeps my cornial movement sequenced with my pupil , it,s because my brain goes light from seeing is believeing, believe it or not colhgne is made from like animals like beaver castor beaver scent glands thats what helps my eyes it,s from living the moment so cohlohne gives me heavy days about 13 days a month by the way I dont think Alana made that commercial she was probably just working either that or she doesnt know the law ! very well later wolf2.
