lorenzo001.....How are you?

Code word: boogie

As for Joe's guitars: None are 24 frets. As for a Satch model it depends on your budget. The JS100 is the least expensive, followed by the JS1000 and the JS1200.

JS100,JS1000,JS1200,JS20S I hope this helps. Take Care

Edit: The link monster bit me again...lol.....

Hybes, I have two Steinbergers and let me tell you they are not for everyone. To me, an armchair guitarist, it is hard to get comfortable with it. I am also a big lad so the lack of heft bugs me too, feels like the axe is gonna float away. Having said that, the neck and trem are amongst the best of any of the plethora of guitars I own. I agree with many others here lately tho, the two easiest guitars I own for playability are my S1 Strat, supremely easy to play, and my Godin Acousticaster, both have maple necks...

Cheers...

Michelle I sort of thought that too....the tattoo is on his leg, he's sort of run out of room on his arms, back and chest.

Stu, I hear you. It's hard to get opportunity when you're busy with life and work etc..... and I think it's fun to have a few flings before settling with 'the one'

If there's such a thing!

Hay Joe! Would you consider doing a birthday "shout out" at your San Francisco Show on November 15th. My son, Kyle Creely will be 16 on Labor Day. We were going to give him a meet and greet ticket but he asked if he could trade it for regular seats so that he could bring his friends to see you too. They will be up in the "C" section..

He's grown up on your music and it has truly inspired him. So, think about it. It would mean the world to him... and to me too!

You Rock! Bonnie Creely aka/band mom

Hybes -

I have to agree with mikesb on this one . For playability steinberger headless guitar or bass for that matter can be set up real nice and low. I used to have the headless bass back in the day . Held tune nice but i just could never get used to the lack of headstock and the balance it creates . "feels like the axe is gonna float away" is putting it nicely . The feeling freaked me out so much I had to throw strap locks on it cause it always felt like it was gonna fall on the ground . Once you get used to it it's not too bad , but it definitely isn't for everybody. Nice to have one in an obscure collection of guitars

thanks for taking the time to scope out Tranquillity guys... that's real awesome of you..
I'm so pleased that you like it too...
maybe more so than any other, this song really is a personal one..
once again, thanks to you all

Ibanezguitars - hahaa... Red is a bit of a fave KC track of mine too.. in the DC Band we play several KC songs - as you'd expect - but we've never played Red.. don't know why.. but there you go.. lol..
so I couldn't resist cutting a version of my own.. but for some reason that I don't even know myself, I really felt a strong urge to mix a little blues vibe in there...
so by mixing Red with blues I came up with Purple.. lol..
the extra cool part is that I had Robert Fripp's blessing too..

mucho coolio...

Clarky, that was absolutely beautiful.

Keniko, thanks - it means a lot. ((hugs))

Ibanezjoan, best wishes to yer stepdad. I took my mom to see my pop today. Man was he bitchy. Guess I would be to if my insides were just rerouted. I had to set him straight tho and tell him my mom has enough worries and doesn't need him to dump on her. It's the meds. They have him a bit off, but I still didn't like the way he talked to her a few times. She can't wait to get her "old" husband back. I just hope that wish comes true for her. Poor thing. We had her out to dinner last night for her 75th birthday. She had a good time. I tell her she still has a little spring in her chicken (spring chicken is an expression we use to mean young) .

Victoria, so he has more than a few tats then, eh? lol! woo-hoo!! I stopped at 9, but I need at least one more. If I had the money, I'd have a lot more by now. lol! Do you have any? If not...maybe it's time ;-)

Al, congrats - you worked for a day. lmao!! That'll teach ya to be sober. Yer a Mc for a reason! I wanna see vid of the gig right after you make me a samish.

civ, I'm hanging in there. Helping my sisters take care of my mom while my pop is in the hospital. He just had a cancerous tumor removed and a colostomy. I ask him how his hysterectomy is. yeah, I'm funny like that.

Clarky - That song was beautiful...thanks for sharing it.

Blue_Moon - I've never been to the Warfield so I don't know how strict they are with seating versus GA, but assuming they don't take our floor tickets or mark them in some way, I'm sure one of us can pass our stub off to you so you can get up front if you'd like...
Keniko - Do you have any videos of your band available yet? Or any audio of you with them? :-)

That Steve Vai video is pretty cool, even though it is a bit odd to see him playing with himself (ha). I like the second distortion quite a bit...it really reminds me of Eddie Van Halen's tone on For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.

civgeek - What are some of the prog bands you've been getting into recently? I just filled out my Porcupine Tree collection earlier this year, finally.

Have you heard of Riverside at all? They're from Poland and they sound a bit like a cross between Dream Theater and Pink Floyd...

I'll stop throwing band names at you though...prog can have such a wide definition and maybe we're into different things...
