If ya don't know, they are the only 2 survivors in a plane crash that killed 4 others over the weekend.

lol chelle...that's right, everything posted here be of the finest quality :)

I've been reading the news on those two guys....they have quite a long road of recovery ahead of them, but it appears they will survive, as you said. Very sad what happened... 4 people dead, and why? I hope they find answers so maybe it doesn't happen again but yeah..... :(

Mari, happy happy wedding to you and your guy. It's what comes after the big day that really counts, but hopefully your special day will be just that....special, beautiful and memorable for you both...and just the beginning of a very happy life together. They say eating chocolate helps with stress :)

Hi Joe, Still raving to anyone who will listen about the Melbourne concert. I am really enjoying the online lessons thru the Satch Zone. They are a helpful adjunct to the DVDs & books. Currently working on songs from the "Is There Love in Space" album. Finding the solo on Gnaahh challenging to say the least! Quick question, why did you call that song Gnnahh? Was it a vocal representation of the guitar sound or were you wrestling with the solo too? Regards, Roxyone

Andre (Eric C.) - Awesome...it's cool to hear from you. What projects have you been working on lately? I remember you being involved with Guns N Roses a few years ago...are you still doing stuff with them? If you can talk about it, of course... ;-)

michelle - I didn't say anything about the crash when you first posted it because I had heard about it elsewhere, but thanks for the update.

It's unfortunate, but I don't think the general public cares because the two famous people made it out OK. I hate to think there are people out there who are that shallow, but I don't know.

Arauka - Yes, Joe will sign a guitar at a meet and greet. He'll sign just about anything, actually...
Guitarman77897 - You can't play your Satchurator again until Christmas? That stinks.

Don't get in trouble, but... Next time your parents aren't home, do some looking around and find out where they're keeping it. Then you could play it whenever they're away.

I got my first bass guitar a week or two before Christmas in 1999, I guess it would have been, and I did something similar.

Of course the more honest thing to do would be to set practice goals because you have three months to become extra awesome...but I'll leave the choice up to you. ;-)

marimariSRV - Congratulations! It's good to hear that you're doing well.

Skip Satch in New Jersey and fly out to catch one of the California shows instead. The SF show's going to be a T2J party, and I'm making an In-N-Out run. :-)

I'd love to see the wedding setlist once you're done with it all...I'll drop you an email after the wedding, I guess. Do you still have the same AOL address?

roo - I love the format of this page, I really do, but I think a lot of the noise is due to the "Talk To Joe" name. Looking at the stats at the top of the page, the average is less than 12 posts per posting member. There are a few dozen of us who have post counts in the thousands, so looking at the average makes me wonder how many people are one- or two-post "hit and runs" who never come back...

I don't know what else the page could be called, but a name change would be nice and it'd cut down on the posts from the one-time impulse visitors. I guess there are a few Satch-related names that would fit. I think I like Friends the most, but you could go with Sittin' 'Round, Mind Storm or Lifestyle, to name a few.

roxyone - Gnaahh ("guh-nah") is a vocal representation of the guitar line. The song was originally called Supernova (read the note to me in the fourth paragraph)...I have to say I like that title better.

...Austin...

Guitarman - I was just talking about Guitar Center's release. That one keeps getting pushed back for some reason. It's the only music store I can find that is carrying it. I just have not wanted to order it and have it mailed. I want to try it first. That's really a bummer that you are not going to play it again for a few months!! Talk about pain!

Let,s talk a little about weight,s!.Who know,s what their maximum lift could be and that is possible? I do I know mine you take your height divide it by your weight then multply it by your height that give,s you your maximum press mine is 210 poun,ds you see my weider weight set is 110 pound,s Now a set should oronil you meaning the signal from the weight should tell your body not to exceed the amount in that set like mine signal for 110 whic is wear I stay now my actual calculated work is 210 so I would then have to buy the weider olympic 300 pound set it signals up to 300 probably in increment,s of 20 40 or 60 pound,s then I would be using my maximum press for that set and maximum for me .You should never need full power like my 110 pound set of weider Beautiful full power for that set and fatal my arm curls with my dumbells their at 20 pound,s cast iron freespirit sears now cast iron mangles a 20 pound cast iron arm mangles faces like a person lifting over 112 pounds anything else like they said on the wolf that day danger use caution.now last year I had my arm,s at 30 pounds with weider if I want 30 that means curl the weider plate weight 20 pounds instead of the cast iron 40 pound set to go to a higher limited set like the weider 40 pound set cast iron is fine do you understand that? the 110 pound power physic looks good sexy too and I dont need my maxiumum lift anyways 2nd pot of coffe is ready! .Well 6 more cups on the pot ! later wolf2.

Satriella: Congrats!

Also, I was looking for someone to check out a cheap JS 2K PLT for me in Leeds. But I've bought it anyway, awesome guitar, my favourite at the moment.

I also got number 180, I thought that was a cool number being "back to front" I'm going to ask Joe to sign the inside of the back plate, so when I put it on, the signature is protected and it's mirror image from the back (180 - get it?) :)

hybes...you can order the Satchurator pedal from Guitar Center, and they will deliver it to your home free of charge....and THEN you have 30 days to play with it to see if you like it or you can take it back to the store. They had none in the store..... but I ordered one, and it got here in less than a week :)

Hey guys.....I hope someone can read this and hopefully provide me with a solution. I ordrered the Satriani VIP package for his show here in Winnipeg, and I am really looking forward to meeting him. But heres the problem.....I ordered my stuff off of ticketmaster back in June.....I was sent the actual ticket, but I haven't received any of the other stuff I need to get in to meet him. I spoke to ticketmaster last week and they told me that the package should have been sent out 4-6 weeks after ordering it, and it has been way more than 4-6 weeks. Can someone please tell me if theres someone I can write to or call to find out where my stuff is?? I really dont want to miss out on meeting Joe : (

Getting syched for the Edmonton show. It's the first time I've seen Joe live since the Blue Dream tour... too long.

I have two tix to Club Joe, but so far only GA tickets have shown up. Should I be worried? Is a package coming with admission details? I can wait for the hats (although fall has set in) but if I miss the meet & greet I'll be choked.

I'm guessing there is some kind of screw up between Ticketmaster and Fanfire. I have the ticketmaster GA tickets but Fanfire hasn't shipped their package because the hats are on back order. Fanfire claims none of their stuff has a bearing on admission or the meet & greet.

I was on hold with ticketmaster and gave up - I'll try them again this afternoon.

what usually happens with the Club Joe tix is this.....

You get your tickets in advance in the mail if that's how you chose for delivery. Then about a week or so before the show, you should be getting an email from the person who will be helping you that night with your meet and greet stuff. That person is usually John Iverson, and in his email he will give you all the details of where and what time to meet in order to do your time with Joe. Whatever you do, DON'T BE LATE!!! If you are late, there's a good chance you'll miss out on your time with Joe, because John usually doesn't have time to come back outside and check for stragglers.

According to the instructions, you will receive your laminate pass, pics and an autographed picture of Joe that night, along with your hour spent with him for the meet and greet, questions, personal photos and autographs. You may also get your bucket hat that night, unless fanfire decides to ship those out to you at another time.

I bought a Club Joe ticket for a friend, and so far we've received everything, he got his $25 voucher and spent it at the fanfire site and I rcvd his item....we got an email to go choose his hat size but instructions that it will be there for him the night of his show....got his ticket. So now just need the email re: the meeting place and time from John Iverson.

In his email, he usually also gives you a cell ph# you can call in case you need him. If you've not gotten any of your other stuff by then, maybe you should give him a call and see if he can help you sort things out. John tries hard to keep Joe's fans happy.

Hope that helps.....and good luck. You'll never forget the experience of meeting Joe, or your time with him....he's the BEST!

Thanks, man. Sounds like the Joe crew has it covered, so I'll put my faith in them. Don't care about the free gear, as long as I make the meet&greet.

I did the Evo experience with Vai in SanFrancisco a couple of years ago - incredible!!! I'm actually in the Guitar World picture of the Evo experience (head-shaved guy if you have the edition).

I can't wait to see Joe!
