Today I've seen the last Woody Allen one, Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
Considering that I've followed Allen's carreer, and that I was born in Barcelona, I couldn't miss that one.
The typical Paco De Lucia's Entre dos Aguas is played three times in the movie soundtrack

Thanks Al, I love that song, and I love the movie it comes from...Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's....brilliant. My cat gets called 'cat' too....
Campbell, my two boys, thankfully, are true rock dudes...one of them loves Nickleback, Dream Theatre, Metallica, Dragonforce, Trivium etc etc and the others a big Joe Satch fan, but likes Tesla, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, and ACDC. They both love Led Zepplin. It's funny how they like 'classic' rock so much when I'm not even old enough (at 34) to remember some of it first time around!
Here's my song
I was a loner, cruising with the wind
I wasn't lookin, when you pulled me in
II had to leave you, like I always did
You knew damn well I'd come again (sob sob)

Looking forward to some great music.

So there's a singing contest goin' on, huh? The ultimate crooner tear-your-heart-out song:
Hello, is it me u're looking for, tell me how to win your heart, or what have I got to do, but let me start by saying, ILU.
yeah I skipped some verses. That song depressed me sooo many times when in junior high, and yet it's still a guilty pleasure of mine. Masochist!!! jajaja.

GottahaveJoe: hey Kayla.....I have "Dog" but not "Tumble." I'm not even sure which album it's on.....sorry I'm outa touch. I know the rest of T2J can tell ya where to get that song. My foot is still open in two places. From my infection and my "ulcer" opened up again because my ortho shoes were worn out. I have new ortho shoes and I'm still on the mend. I just went back to my home town for my Mom's b-day. It was great seeing old friends as well. Mike DeRosa: Hey Guy! I'm redoubling my efforts to write out that star trek episode after explaining it ti my buddy Dave Stearns. More later. Check out Flickr.com for new pics of famous people! Just look what you started JOE!

Yay.. Sort of.... :)
Got the tour maps sort of running, there's a few bugs and a lot of gig venues are not geo-coded yet. And a lot of gigs aren't entered either (I'm only human!).
Here's a beta: http://roo.emu.id.au/newsatch/?q=node/384
There's a few glitches, like the lines don't update if the map isn't in the correct place or zoom, I think it's a bug with the mapper widget. But you can click on the alpha in the list next to a venue to zoom in to the venue.
Isn't the interweb a wonderful place?
Roo
PS. Hey, have you guys seen Photosynth? MS was working on it for a while, I've been tracking for a year or more, and it was released now a few months ago. It's sorta like an online photo album, but they auto calculate where you were standing and the 3d model of what you photographed and give you a fly-through photo album. It's pretty cool.
They are even looking at things like auto detecting the subject of your photo, so imagine you take a photo of a statue whilst touring and loading it in to your photo album. Then, not only can you fly around it, but it has links to show you the artist, the history of it, when it was made, etc. All automatically!
Very cool.
So the next mash up is everyone posts all the photos of joe at each venue and you get a 3d model I can link to! LOL!

I also just hacked in an attendance and gig review link back to satriani.com from the gigs.
Here's an example: http://roo.emu.id.au/newsatch/?q=node/23
It's amazing what you can do now with a few lines of code.
I have only put the gig link on that gig. All I have to do to connect others is enter the gig ID for each one and the links will display themselves.

Thanks Igneousiceman.
I just want to do whatever I can to help drive interest in Joe's Music. I think Joe is just so brilliant with Music and a genuinely nice guy.
Not sure about the psychotic robot that's started following him around lately though.... He worries me a bit.
Interesting about the concept of interplay between tempo and key... Hmmm. I wonder if we look at some of the worst songs of history if they would have done better in a different key or tempo?
