A little over two years ago my brother in law had surgery for bowel cancer, some of you who I think of as friends sent prayers, good vibes etc, for which I would like to thank you again.
Unfortunately, the damned stuff came back rather vigorously and sadly he passed away earlier today. At least his pain is now over.
Right now I feel so angry that billions and billions and billions of dollars (and pounds!) are being spent on bombs and bullets to kill people and we haven't got a cure for fucking cancer. (sorry if the wee sweary offends anyone but it's how I feel).
Peace.

JSPhil: Can't be fun hitting the wall...but yeah, a bit tough on Raikkonen. All I can say is that I hope the stewards don't add to the 'F1is fixed' thing next time around. They seem to be doing a fairly good job of it so far...=D
Let's hope The Ego isn't too big...(sorry, bad joke) Ok, how about this: Two jump leads walk into a bar, the barman says 'I'll serve you, just don't start anything'....
I hate getting cold hands. So I really hate it at the moment with cold mornings walking to the bus then being expected to write...
Cappy Steve: You are so right. Condolences.

Good idea Du Th...errr Out of the Sunrise/List. Please meet&greeters ask him about Chickenfoot, G3 or whatsoever and feedback here. We europeans did so, so we don't expect less from americans.
Cappy, sorry to hear that. Us who have relatives in similar circumstances or struggling against cancer, are sending you our support

Cappy-sincere condolences to you and both families.
guitar players... joe...need help.. had my JS1000 stored in the basement in Israel. it's pretty hot here in the summer and humid. well, i went to get it and found that the frets tarnished or something. i don't think its rust, but it feels gritty when i bend the strings in some places. anyone know how to clean this up without using brasso. don't know if that will destroy the neck. this sucks!!

Satch glassware. I love it. I could really go for an Oktoberfest-sized Beer Stein in place of the shot glass, though. That would be so cool.

Cappy & Eithne, so very sorry to hear about your brother's passing. I totally understand your anger. 2008 and still no cure. What I want to know is what is the REASON so many are getting it in the first place? WTF? A few years ago I didn't know anyone with cancer. Today I know far to many. My pop is slowly healing from just having a non-reversible colostomy due to colon-rectal cancer on Aug, 25th, and my boss just had her breast removed yesterday.
If anyone is dealing with cancer, I found a great book at www.Livestrong.org that has EVERYTHING in it. The cost of the book is free, but s & h, is about $8.66 USD.
Survivor Notebook
The LIVESTRONG™ Survivorship Notebook is designed to organize and guide your cancer experience. It is a portable spiral-bound notebook, so you can take it with you to health care appointments and other important meetings. It includes the following:
Survivorship Tools - this section will help keep you organized. It contains a personal health journal including an appointment diary and list for medications, practical life summary for health and financial information, and a medical history and treatment section.
Survivorship Stories - full of stories of cancer survivors talking about their experiences with cancer. This section hopes to inspire and empower people affected by cancer.
Survivorship Topics - this section is broken down into three categories:
1 - Physical Topics (e.g. Aftereffects of Treatment, Healthy Behaviors, and Physical Rehabilitation)
2 - Emotional Topics (e.g. Support Systems, Fear, Hope, and Uncertainty)
3 - Practical Topics (e.g. Communicating with your Health Care Team, Life Expectancy, and Planning for your Financial and Medical Future)
Each topic has readings and answers to questions that you might have, plus available resources for you to use for more information.
LIVESTRONG Survivorship Notebooks are offered free of charge from the Lance Armstrong Foundation as an easy way for cancer survivors and their caregivers to access and keep important survivorship information organized.
Shipping and handling charges will be extra.

ARE YOU REGISTERED?
Know anyone that wants to register but doesn't know how? Deadline to register to vote is October 6th!
This is from the Obama website, but it does not count in any way towards Obama (for you McPalin fans). It's simply to register to vote, check where your polling place is, or request to vote absentee.
And now back to your regularly scheduled program...

Cappy:I hear ya bro & sorry for yer loss.Anyone interested in cancer cures, will be interested t look into the technology of

Antoine Priore 2
Its also interesting t note
Tom Bearden comments:
"It is my impression that the French Government did finally recognize how at least part of the Prioré process worked, and weaponized it as longitudinal EM wave interferometers. In fact every nuclear weapon on the planet, along with every nuclear powerplant, every nuclear propulsion system, etc. can be dudded in about 10 minutes by one class of these weapons."
so yup once again instead of healing the sick the government concentrate a lifes work on death
