My husband hears it and starts watching the vid. Next thing I know, he's laughing his ass off. Must be a guy thing? LOL!! I sent him the link. Now he's watching it on his pc and laughing like hell again. He can't wait to show the guys at work. The only funny I see in the vid is you guys falling off yer chairs laughing. LOL!

I know the holiday is still three months away, but I say it's time to talk about Christmas albums...that way we have plenty of time to buy any recommendations and listen to them well before the holiday.
I assume everyone has Merry Axemas I and Merry Axemas II. If you don't have them, buy them now...you have no excuses. If you do have them, here's a trivia question: Who is the only musician to appear on both albums?
Steve Lukather's Santamental is another good album for instrumental guitar fans, and then Gary Hoey's Christmas collection is a must-have as well.
Branching out a bit, Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater has a cool solo piano album, Christmas Sky. And Bela Fleck & The Flecktones are releasing a Christmas album, Jingle All The Way, next week...I listened to some clips and it sounds pretty cool.
What are everyone else's favorites?
RAAN - Did your parents already buy you a bass, or did they say they'll buy you one? Sorry, I don't know if you're asking for pointers on what to buy, or on how to approach playing... ;-)
If you already have it, what brand did you get? If not, what style of music do you like to play most?
gotta have Joe - Congrats! :-)
I think I owe you an email...sorry, I've been busy lately.
matt king - Hi...how's the band doing?
...Austin...

Do the Stu - what a way to have to finally hear some Candlebox. I'm glad you remember a couple of songs. They really were awesome for a minute and then just faded away. Let me know how you like the rest of the cd when you buy it. Their new release is really good too. I was very impressed.
Cheese - We shall keep the Christmas presents a secret!! He's a lucky boy! I am also going to order the TAB book for PSATMOR. We'll see how badly I can mangle it!

SAMMY HAGAR BLAMES TEQUILA FOR ZEPPELIN COMMENT
A 3-Part Sammy Hagar Podcast interview can be heard/downloaded at: http://www.musicradar.com/news/guitars/sammy-hagar-blames-tequila-for-zeppelin-comment-174781
Interview summary:
"Chickenfoot could rival Led Zeppelin." It was a quote that made its way across the Internet within hours, and the man who said it, Sammy Hagar, blames it all on tequila.
"I got fucking ripped and I said something stupid," Hagar admits, laughing, recalling the press day he did in Toronto this past spring to launch his premium Cabo Wabo Tequila in Canada (a product he just said sold an 80 percent interest in for the tidy sum of $80 million).
Throughout the day, journalists and Hagar were imbibing, and the singer reveals that the combination of alcohol and his unbridled love for his new supergroup led to an unfortunate slip of the tongue.
"I told Joe (Satriani), 'I'm so enthusiastic about this band, I might've said something. But I was buzzed up. What are you gonna do?"
And with the lineup Sammy Hagar has for Chickenfoot (a code name, by the way; the real name has yet to be decided), he has a right to be buzzing.
Along with Mr. Can't Drive 55 are guitarist Joe Satriani, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and fellow ex-Van Halen member, bassist Michael Anthony. According to Hagar, the recording sessions are exceeding his wildest expectations.
"The world needs this band right now. The rock 'n' roll world needs this band. We are a rock band, and we're at the top of our game. When the world hears this, it's gonna turn on its side."
Throughout his career, the Red Rocker has been in his share of groups (Montrose , HSAS, Van Halen) and side projects (Planet US, Sammy And The Waboritas) and he's spent considerable time as a solo artist (his new album, Cosmic Universal Fashion, drops in November), but at the ripe age of 60 ("But I'm still 18 in body and spirit!"), he's convinced that Chickenfoot will be his finest hour.
"This is the music I always wanted to make with the kinds of guys I always wanted to play with. I can't wait for people to hear it!"
Recently Hagar sat down with MusicRadar for a candid and free-wheelin' interview in which he talked about, among other things, Chickenfoot, what really went wrong with Van Halen, and his new album. Charming and utterly sincere, he laid it all out as only he can.

Hey Joe & Everyone,
Been busy as usual: Work, Running, etc. Ran a half-marathon last Saturday and I have another one to do this Saturday. With my "hospitality" work, it is very doubtful to see Satriani in concert, which sucks.
Just need to find Additional Creations and then I will have every single one of Joe's CDs. Does anyone know when he will be coming out with another album?
Joe, hope you are doing well and the best of luck to you on your U.S. Tour (wish I could come and watch you perform).
Gotta run, got errands and chores to get done. Deuces to you all!!!

HA! McCain is running away from Friday nights debate. lmao! He knows he's gonna get his ass kicked and be caught in all the lies he's been making up. This is precious! Obama would have more or less been debating an empty space anyways, so we'll see what happens.
T-Bones, yer such a super slueth! I think I'll give you a cookie ;-)
Now, in case you guys were wondering...
NEW YORK (AP) -- Let the debates begin: VH1 has compiled its list of the 100 greatest hip-hop songs, and Public Enemy's black power anthem "Fight the Power" tops the list.
The cable channel will count down its list in a series of shows starting Monday. At No. 2 is the Sugarhill Gang's groundbreaking song, "Rapper's Delight," followed by Dr. Dre's "Nuthin but a 'G' Thang" at No. 3. Run-D.M.C.'s "Walk This Way" with Aerosmith and Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five's "The Message" round out the top five.
Salt-N-Pepa was the only female act in the top 10, with their early hit "Push It." Two of rap's biggest names — Jay-Z and Eminem — didn't make the top 10, though they are in the top 20.
Flavaaaaaaa Flaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaav! lmao!
