Rick Astley for MTV artist of the year!? What?!? "Never gonna give you up.."... anyway.....

roo - so that's two people who know it's murphy's law then LOL. Any sign of the rest of the gear yet - is it traceable (as surely a recorded package)? Regarding the peacock guitar, I know Joe talked about it fairly recently, I am just trying to remember where

Do The Stu - thanks for the info on the tracks. I really want to get hold of them, haven't seen Additional on the bay or anywhere lately so just have to keep my eyes open. You should have another email re the Flintstones. You're right about the perfect fix for Firefox. There are some requests for those scripts to do just that so I expect one to be available shortly if one hasn't been edited already. Of course, Youtube could just code it as an option in your account... autoplay/buffer/no autoplay... simple : )

Tuesdayschild - I'm good thanks, seem to have an awful lot to get done and no time to do it, hence another midnight computer session. As for the muso issue, there's nothing worse, it's confusing as hell. Pesky exes normally eventually get the message as long as the previous BF/GF actually let them no it's definitely definitely over. Sorry to hear you're being messed about

Satriella - chicken.. no egg... no chicken.... thanks for getting that other thing sorted, much appreciated

Igneousiceman - have you seen how the president of Ferrari is saying the singapore event was a joke? He was having a right old rant. I guess it was something to do with the formula of the tarmac and the way the event was run that caused the fuel rig error, LMAO Raikko was pushing hard and to be fair to him, those kerbs were ridiculous. Perhaps he was regretful that he didn't get to crash at the champions wall in Canada? I've hit the wall before, it probably explains why I is how I is.... LOL

Blue Moon - nice pics. Now buy all the board regulars a party somewhere exotic will all your cash.... oh, and make yer girls a sarnie. LMAO Psycho Monkey. Driving at night is excellent - when driving at night.... fast

Hugsamuch - your changes sound good, hope the hunting goes well. I'd have been able to chill out with a jam, but I sliced my left hand index last week so it wasn't an option, other than a bloody messy fretboard so I have to be patient : ( Deffo a little better after a sleep, but still have things to sort out that wind me up if I think about 'em - so I better not think about them LOL Keep well

Runelord - your post about reward and punishment for how well 'your' lessons with Joe go reminds me of his teaching technique with Jeff Tyson. Wonder if Jeff did ever get his sister back LMAO I don't think Joe would do a reality TV show, but you never know

Joe - how about it, you could do rock of love 3? ha ha

Nite all

Dontcha know, we already came up with the ultimate Joe-reality show.....

Survivor Satriani :)

All the male contestants hafta wear thongs and do all the cooking, whilst the lady contestants get to hunt and gather and throw their muscles around. Oh, and the ladies....are in camo clothes :) We had a whole concept going, including the types of challenges they would hafta undergo, many of them rock related...and Joe would be the host of course....

So yeah..... :)

Michelle - hell yeah, I'm getting me some of those. Good present for my Mom's birthday soon

Andy of UK - cool post, thanks!

Cheese - LMAO, seriously? Is there a bunch of posts about that, it sounds hilarious? Tell me more!

One question though, how come the series didn't get made : )

No sign of case and cert :( Regards tracking, it's taken a week for the courier company to realise they have it! - Unfortunately it didn't scan properly that was the issue, they thought they hadn't picked it up. But thankfully the driver remembered and was adamant he picked it up. So they are now checking the security cameras to try and find out where it went.

Survivor Satriani? Maybe at the end the final challenge is you have to battle the robot?

Actually, he might get jealous of anyone getting closer to Joe. I get the feeling the robot is very protective and starstruck.

But Joe seems to ignore him. I feel sorry for the robot. Obviously "One Robot's Dream" tells us his story and how he now has feelings running through his circuits, but in the podcast he seems to want to follow Joe around and be a real fan, he would love it if Joe would show him a little love and attention.

How bout it Joe. Give your robot a hug every so often, just to let him know you love him.

Shouldn't ignore that Wolfie actually responded to a post a couple of days back. Those weights are sure helping dude!

Tour starts tomorrow, looking forward to next month's show. But...

Has anyone else noticed how tight the tour schedule is? Only 4 off days in 1.5 months, the end of the tour has Joe playing every single day from Nov 3 thru the 15th. Talk about optimizing your travel expenses!

This surprised me because I recall that Dream Theater for instance, never schedules more than 3 consecutive nights to avoid over-straining the vocalist. Joe doesn't sing a lot, but I would think that all that traveling and intense playing would warrant a bit more rest. Comments?

Joe's tour starts today, so I've decided to change my username to reflect the fact that my favorite song from PSATMOR isn't in Joe's setlist. If Out Of The Sunrise comes back, I'll change my username back. If not, I'll keep it how it is...at least until my shows come up. Think of it as a passive protest, I guess...

Also, if any T2Jers get to meet Joe I'm sure we'd love to hear any Chickenfoot info that you can get for us. How many songs have been written, and how many have been completed? How much work needs to be done in December? Any idea on a release date? What type of tour do they expect to do? :-)

elpp - For as long as I've been a fan (since EOC), Joe's stuck fairly close to a schedule of six days on, one day off. I think it's a bit crazy, but Joe keeps doing it so I guess that's how he likes it.

To be fair, two of the "on" days are in-store appearances, so they aren't as demanding as full-on shows. If you count the San Diego in-store toward the end of the tour as an off day, it keeps things closer in line with the "six on, one off" thing.

A little over two years ago my brother in law had surgery for bowel cancer, some of you who I think of as friends sent prayers, good vibes etc, for which I would like to thank you again.

Unfortunately, the damned stuff came back rather vigorously and sadly he passed away earlier today. At least his pain is now over.

Right now I feel so angry that billions and billions and billions of dollars (and pounds!) are being spent on bombs and bullets to kill people and we haven't got a cure for fucking cancer. (sorry if the wee sweary offends anyone but it's how I feel).

Peace.
