Sorry for the long post - but it's something to read hey : )

Roo - have you played BD yet, or is it going to be just a collectors item for now? Hope that gear gets tracked down soon!

Tuesdayschild - Cool, thanks! Um, you mean the dancing bird or a guitar vid LOL? If it's the latter, I have idiots finger syndrome at the moment so no new ones for a while (I put a knife through it). How you doin (and not in a Joey from friends way!) anway?

Cappy Steve - sorry for your loss. Good vibes to you and the family

Out of the Setlist - nice nick, impressed with that I am. Just digging around for a link that I saw to the Flintstones track to save me having to upload....

Igneousiceman - hitting the wall can sometimes (in racing driver terms) be entertaining. I can think of three stand out ones, including suspension failure at 130mph.... bit of a surprise that one : ) Am hoping for a good race and a good result for Lewis this weekend. SFBAD roar should be your next PG album, also great!

Cheese101 - wow, you sure you posted enough links there LOL. I'll have to check those out, should be fun, thanks for posting. I think when you bump into the team at your next gigs you should propose the Survivor show... maybe pitch it to NBC or whoever it is who does the Osbournes : )

JS1200JS1000 - you made it then!! Sounds like the ususal fantastic Joe experience. Any standout moments for you from the show, or your highlights? Any noticeable differences between the shows (for you)? P.S I posted in August about a 2nd Joe pedal ; p

Peter - great interview, thanks for sharing!

Djo666 - nice post about the pedal board, thanks. Cool pics too. I'm sure I've seen a pic of Joe with a green proto Satchurator with four knobs tho. But as there was already mention of a 2nd pedal I hope it is as you describe. Means Joe will have more room for another 2 or three different octave generators LOL

Michelle - for an oldie, Mum does rock. I worked out why she's so happy at Joe gigs (other than the obvious)... she can hear what's going on LOL : ) (sorry mum!)

Through a post on here Out of The Setlist and I started discussing this Flintstones track. It's on a CD I have of 'rare' Joe, and this one is supposed to be Joe and Steve... but we don't believe it's either of them

I'm now settling on it being Dweezil Zappa, but does anyone else want to put us out of our misery?

OOTS's comments:

It's definitely not Satch. It doesn't sound like Steve Vai's playing, although the arrangement sounds like something he'd do. I don't think he's involved at all though.

To rule out some other possiblities, it's definitely not Steve Morse or John Petrucci. It doesn't sound like Paul Gilbert, but to be fair I only have a few of his albums...I'm not too familiar with his 80s style. So my knowledge there is somewhat limited.

You mentioned Steve Stevens...to be honest, it almost sounds like it could be him.

My best guess would be Reb Beach of Winger/Whitesnake, although I still don't think that's quite it. Are you familiar with his playing at all?

The style of this Flintstones thing also reminds me a bit of Ted Nugent's version of Joy To The World on Merry Axemas II, but he seems unlikely.

Austin

So, answers on a postcard to... well, on here will do thanks

G'nite all

Hey Joe my friend and I will be at your show in Toronto on the 16th, row B right side ( looking at stage). I was just wondering if there will be anywhere before or after the show that you will be signing autographs or just saying "hi" to the fans? Looking forward to a great show.

PS. Ibanez JS guitars ROCK. they feel so comfortable in my hands and great tone. Prof. Satchifunkalus is an amazing album too. Very well done Joe.

Unklpunk: Hey, how about I set up an area on the Roo Satriani collection to collect doodles? I have no problem hosting this and will make it so everyone can post doodles as they find them? I have had the collection online since early 90's and will be on line for a long time to come.

To get it started, can people email satch doodles to me and i'll set up the start of the site (with credit to those who send the doodles in), and when I get it set up for people to start contributing directly to the site I'll let you know.

I don't think Joe would have a problem with us creating a gallery of doodles, I can put a copywrite to Joe on them and declare not to be reproduced. Just let me know if that's a problem Joe or any of the management ok? We are eager to showcase Joe's work.

AND.........

THE BLACK DOG CASE WAS FOUND! It's in transit to me now. I'll let you know when it has arrived! WOOOHOOO!

And yes, I played the Black Dog, And will continue to do so. You cannot let a guitar die from neglect. These are meant to be played guys! It's part of their soul. And if I owned the first in the world, I HAD to also play it first didn't I? AWESOME feel to this guitar guys, BUY ONE IF YOU CAN! You won't regret it.

Does anyone have any idea who does this version of the Flintstone's theme?

Joe Satrini and I are trying to figure it out...any guesses?

DJo_666 - Thanks for those pictures. I still see one of Joe's old delays ("LONG") in the second photo, so I guess we can figure the Time Machine isn't two delays in one.
Brakkum / AdSam - Joe will usually sign stuff out by the bus after the show...be prepared to wait about 90 minutes though.
Guitarman77897 - OK, sorry...I was a bit confused by the way you worded your question. If you can wait another day, it looks like ZuperDave will be writing down the setlist from the Minneapolis show.
lawl - Joe looks at the setlists at the start of tour rehearsals.
roo - It's good to hear that they found your case... :-)

How much did the guitar cost, by the way? Around US$6,000, right?

Only 2 are being imported to Australia officially, I asked how much for cash and they wouldn't budge even $100!, they have already sold the first one and they had them listed at $11,000 AUD!!!!!!!!!! Australia pays WAAAYYY too much for ibanez. Sorry guys, but there must be a massive markup for us.

I didn't pay even in the vicinity of that much for my one, and I bought it (and picked it up) in mid August. :)

It is awesome to look at and awesome to play.

I'm serious about the doodles, I'll set it up and start the collection probably in the next few days.

I will try and use the "official" satch names where I can, but they may be hard to always determine. I'll put in a few I have, and scans from the back of some plectrums, but if people want to start emailing to me any they already have, go right ahead. I'll load em up as I get them.

Joe, have you considered guitar stickers? A set of sketches as a sticker pack to paste on guitars would sell like hot-cakes.

Will Joe Six-Pack please step forward....? I know it is'nt me, I can't get six beers down in a month..

It just occured to me that if Joe is coming from Winnipeg, he has to pass through our little town of 600 here in northern Minnesota. I would wait by the highway but I don't know if he's coming or gone already. He's probably sitting at our McDonald's (yes, we have a McDonald's) eating a breakfast burrito right now. Damn it I have to go see...lol..

Igneousiceman - That was a good video. Mick and John are certainly not actors are they?? What was with the food? that was funny. Good song though. Lennon doesn't have a really bluesy voice, but he can play the blues for sure.

Great pics of the pedal board. You guys have a great eye! I don't think I would have ever noticed a new pedal and wah. Can't wait to see what's going on there.

You guys that just saw Joe, could you tell what was different from the Time Machine pedal to the Satchurator?

Good Morning Satchland.....How Is Everyone?

Man, I miss this place. So what up?

Ben' busy with the band and our demo. We have a few songs mixed. I know a Little is one of them. We have rehearsal tonight and we're gonna decide on the songs going on the myspace site. I'll be posting these soon and I'll let you know. I think it came out great and hoping to get some clubs interested in us. Man, what an up hill battle. There's so many bands and not enough clubs it's really cut throat in Chicago and imagine the same every where else. You just gotta believe in yourself and keep pushin'.

Cappy.....Way behind on the pages but saw your post. I'm with on your comment and my heart goes to you. Keep the faith and God Bless.

Joe....Cindy and I are so Stoked to see you tomorrow night. I can't wait hear Musterion "live". Thanks again for signing my JSX head. It's the best amp I've ever owned. You've done a great job with Peavey. God Bless....

Have Great Day Everyone !!!!!
