Sorry for the long post - but it's something to read hey : )
Roo - have you played BD yet, or is it going to be just a collectors item for now? Hope that gear gets tracked down soon!
Tuesdayschild - Cool, thanks! Um, you mean the dancing bird or a guitar vid LOL? If it's the latter, I have idiots finger syndrome at the moment so no new ones for a while (I put a knife through it). How you doin (and not in a Joey from friends way!) anway?
Cappy Steve - sorry for your loss. Good vibes to you and the family
Out of the Setlist - nice nick, impressed with that I am. Just digging around for a link that I saw to the Flintstones track to save me having to upload....
Igneousiceman - hitting the wall can sometimes (in racing driver terms) be entertaining. I can think of three stand out ones, including suspension failure at 130mph.... bit of a surprise that one : ) Am hoping for a good race and a good result for Lewis this weekend. SFBAD roar should be your next PG album, also great!
Cheese101 - wow, you sure you posted enough links there LOL. I'll have to check those out, should be fun, thanks for posting. I think when you bump into the team at your next gigs you should propose the Survivor show... maybe pitch it to NBC or whoever it is who does the Osbournes : )
JS1200JS1000 - you made it then!! Sounds like the ususal fantastic Joe experience. Any standout moments for you from the show, or your highlights? Any noticeable differences between the shows (for you)? P.S I posted in August about a 2nd Joe pedal ; p
Peter - great interview, thanks for sharing!
Djo666 - nice post about the pedal board, thanks. Cool pics too. I'm sure I've seen a pic of Joe with a green proto Satchurator with four knobs tho. But as there was already mention of a 2nd pedal I hope it is as you describe. Means Joe will have more room for another 2 or three different octave generators LOL
Michelle - for an oldie, Mum does rock. I worked out why she's so happy at Joe gigs (other than the obvious)... she can hear what's going on LOL : ) (sorry mum!)
Through a post on here Out of The Setlist and I started discussing this Flintstones track. It's on a CD I have of 'rare' Joe, and this one is supposed to be Joe and Steve... but we don't believe it's either of them
I'm now settling on it being Dweezil Zappa, but does anyone else want to put us out of our misery?
OOTS's comments:
It's definitely not Satch. It doesn't sound like Steve Vai's playing, although the arrangement sounds like something he'd do. I don't think he's involved at all though.
To rule out some other possiblities, it's definitely not Steve Morse or John Petrucci. It doesn't sound like Paul Gilbert, but to be fair I only have a few of his albums...I'm not too familiar with his 80s style. So my knowledge there is somewhat limited.
You mentioned Steve Stevens...to be honest, it almost sounds like it could be him.
My best guess would be Reb Beach of Winger/Whitesnake, although I still don't think that's quite it. Are you familiar with his playing at all?
The style of this Flintstones thing also reminds me a bit of Ted Nugent's version of Joy To The World on Merry Axemas II, but he seems unlikely.

So, answers on a postcard to... well, on here will do thanks
