Hey Joe and everyone else again. I just wanted to say thanks for all the warm welcomes, and for the information about the track.

Someone asked what my favorite "Is There Love In Space?" track is, but I guess that's slightly impossible to answer. It's probably my favorite album overall, and consequently I really love all the songs, top to bottom!!

...I hate that "Joe the Plumber" BS... An average plumber does not have 250,000 to buy a freaking company in the first place... Now the question you wanna ask yourself is: Who's pipes is Joe the Plumber servicing? Now if you can unclog that mystery, we're onto something...

In response to hybes, here's how I'd rank Van Halen's albums. I put ellipses where there's a pretty clear division in ranking for me (for example, 3/4/5 are interchangable depending on my mood, but all of them are easily above the 6/7/8/9 group).

1. For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge
2. Balance
...
3. I
4. III
5. 1984
...
6. Fair Warning
7. 5150
8. OU812
9. Women And Children First
...
10. II
11. Diver Down

Hmmm...I didn't realize that For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge is my favorite album until I put this list together; I had never really thought about it before.

It's hard to rank Van Halen by their albums...trying to do it makes me realize they aren't really an "album" band like I'd say Led Zeppelin is. Although I would say Van Halen's later albums are more "album-like" than their earlier ones. It's weird...Cathedral is my second favorite VH instrumental, but Diver Down is last on my list. Light Up The Sky is probably one of my top five VH songs, but II is way down toward the bottom.

Anyway, what about everyone else?

It's awesome to hear from so many people here who were lucky enough to see Led Zeppelin live. Does anyone know if Joe ever saw them? I don't recall ever hearing anything about it so I assume the answer is no, but I could be wrong.
Zinc Master - I still doubt Chinese Democracy will be released next month, but what bugs me most is that Dr Pepper's press releases keep making it sound like Slash is the reason it's taking forever for the album to be released. If anyone should go without a can of Dr Pepper, for this whole thing, it should be Axl.
Keniko - Very cool...thanks for the theater photos. I love seeing bands in venues like that...shows at old theaters feel more like "events", if that makes any sense...
Joe Satrini - Wow...Additional Creations is going to go for about $150 again. I wonder what my copy would go for, with autographs from Joe and Jeff?
Skippygirl - I won't be voting for either of them, but I'd prefer McCain to Obama. And my view may be biased (I live in California, one of the most liberal states in the US, and I work as a journalist, one of the most liberal professions), but I think Obama will end up winning with a split of at least 60/40.

Peter Hodgson - a fellow Melburnian :0). Just read the Joe interview and enjoyed it alot. Some editing probs but maybe you had it transcribed from audio?

Half of it I couldn't understand but enjoyed the way Joe lovingly described the technical aspects of how he plays or records his music. Unfortunately it made me realise I could (with a lot of effort) learn to play guitar but I would also need an electronics and sound engineering degree to ever work out how songs are put together and recorded!

Do The Stu/OOTS - you're not going to vote at all?

Skippygirl - Oh, I could've worded that better... I'll be voting for a third-party candidate (I haven't yet decided who). I expect at least 95% of all votes cast nationwide to go to either McCain or Obama, so there's no chance of anyone else winning with the way everything is now. But I don't like either of those candidates enough to give them my vote.

And then of course there are other things on the ballot...congressional elections, state propositions, and other stuff on a more local level. So in the end I'll have a say on plenty of things...

I still can't believe Additional Creations is going for that much now. I may have to dig mine out of the storage box and put it up for sale. I just got laid off...today is my last day until further notice...sucks. I don't want to sign up for unemployment but I really have no choice until things pick up around here. We're in a really bad way right now. We'll be lucky if we can keep our house heated AND get our bills paid.

D_O_M.... you're welcome..

Hybes...tee hee hee

No offence...I love men...

don't think either sex will ever tuly understand the ways of the other though LOL

take this for example....

What a woman says:

This place is a mess! C'mon!
You and I need to clean up!
Your stuff is lying on the floor and
you'll have no clothes to wear if we
don't do laundry right now!

What a man hears:

blah,blah,blah,blah, C'MON
blah,blah,blah,blah, YOU AND I
blah, blah,blah,blah, ON THE FLOOR
blah,blah,blah,blah, NO CLOTHES
blah,blah,blah,blah, RIGHT NOW

tee hee hee

hey....

This is so bizarre.

Open a plain Word document and type in:

=rand (200,99)

Then press Enter

Very weird.

Hugs Satriella xx

On another point, I wonder who is the oldest and who is the youngest in here. Coffee man beats me by a year or so. Anyone older than Ken? Come on and fess up, let's see what age range of Satch fans we have in here.

New exercise routine.

If you're over 30 you might want to take it easy at first, then do it faster as you become more proficient.

This may be too strenuous for some.

Always consult your doctor before starting any exercise program.

SCROLL DOWN

NOW SCROLL UP That's enough for the first day. Have some chocolate.

aaaaaaaaaah my kinda exercise plan!

Guts - is arriving home late after a night out with the lads, being assaulted by your wife with a broom, and having the guts to ask: "Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?"

Balls - is coming home late after a night out with the lads, smelling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the a*se and having the balls to say - "You're next fatty."
