OH MY SWEET LORD IN HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Atlanta show was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've finally figured it out! Jesus Christ was God's miracle inclined son and Joe Satriani is God's musically inclined son! That's the only way a human could possibly be that totally amazing! Man he really rocked the house! I waited by the bus after the show and when he came out he came right over to the fans and started signing autographs and taking pictures. He is so down to earth and you can really tell he appreciates his fans! I can't wait till the next one I am able to attend!
THANKS FOR A TERRIFIC SHOW, JOE!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!!

Hiya all.
Stu, thanks for sending us your purple. You look and sound great in the vids.
Blue Moon--you have some sweeeet guitars. Thanx for the vids and pics.
Cappy--Yesh! Man! It's evident you love beer. I can't say the same for me. Last time I had something with alcohol in it I became suicidal!! I really get too emotional and am ashamed of myself. I also am required to take prescription drugs per a doctor's orders to keep me level headed. These don't mix with alcohol. So I stay away from it. Don't mind...it's just me. I'm very very human--God help me!

I've been spinning Joe's self titled cd in my car for the past few weeks. This is the cd I fell in love with Joe's music to. I still think it contains one of the most dead sexy tunes Joe's written yet (not to leave out a few on CP). When it hits the 3 minute mark, it's on! It makes my hair stand up when Joe talks, and you'd need a 2x4 to wipe the smile off my face. LOL! I think this is one of Joe's best - Slow Down Blues.

Michelle,
I love "Dear Prudence" and the Beatles' songs were my companions as I grew up through grade school and beyond! Their immortal music will continue to pass from generation to generation.
I remember feeling lonely when I was entering adolescence and listening to the amazing Abbey Road. I was transported to a special place and felt I could conquer the world after that! Music finds us and never leaves us wanting except to keep discovering and learning! What a God-given gift!

Keniko - You're right about Galen being a bass tech...I actually mentioned that a post or two before the one you replied to. It's nice that we both have good memories...haha. ;-)
Thanks for the demos update...I can't wait to hear 'em. Are the songs the same as you posted earlier, or did things change?
marksaurs - Thanks for the Richmond review...it's good to hear that you had a great time.
michelle - Funny to see you post about JS95...I loaded up my CD changer in my car earlier today (yesterday now) before going to work and I threw that one in there. It should come up in two days or so, depending on how much driving I do.
It's a good one...I don't listen to it as often as Joe's other albums, but when I do I seem to love it more than his other stuff. It's hard to explain, but I'm sure you get it...
I still don't like Cool #9 all that much, though. :-/

maritime: Thanks again, that's a pretty cool song by KT...definetly going to look for one now!
Railton: Well, apart from the fact that your user thing says 'Plays: Guitar (0 years)' I would say about 2 or 3?!
marksaurs: Settled on 'Moonchild' and then 'Sinnerboy'. Moonchild has to be one of my fav songs by him (the version off 'Stage Struck').
michelle/Blue_Moon/DoTheStu: Yup, I've been thinking similar (but not identical...) things about that album. It's got a very different feel to the others, in a more laid back 'see what you think' kinda way. Trouble is, I've seen Cool#9 so many times on dvds that I end up skipping it...=D

Igneousiceman, the program I refered to was on BBC 4 last Fri...at 9pm...sorry it's only the UK'ers who saw Jeff Beck in all his glory with Jimmy Page watching, but I'm sure it'll make it onto Youtube.
Do the Stu...I got those two DVD's you recommended and I need peace to watch them. One of them is rated an 18 (oh er) and the other a 15 so obviously my 10 and my 11 year olds aren't allowed....
Being 'outed' on another forum has had one good effect. It's led to some effective communication between me and that guy I'd been seeing, even if his ex girlfriend is hopping mad and ready to kill me for saying things like 'according to him...she's got the brains of a wheelie bin' etc etc.
I've not been here much recently I hope I haven't missed any posts regarding anything I've mentioned. I'm off work...and that's my 'surfing time!' Happy Halloween everybody Love ya loads....
