T, ya need to put those ideas in my head a little sooner than 9:36 pm Halloween night. lol! Been busy, especially today taking E back to school after work. Three hrs sleep, 8 hrs of work, 1/2 hour home, hour to Mville, 20 min. there, hour back, dinner/trick or treaters, quick visit from Mady Elmo minus Georgie, some vid watching and emailing, and how's my brain supposed to remember dressing up cardboard Joe? If I come up with something within the next 3 minutes, I'll take a pic for you. lol! Just to tell you how I'm feeling, I;m drinking tea. lmao!! Yeah, one cup, one bag - I know.

Lorenzo - I'm a bit of an analyst at heart. I am not in any way disregarding the time and effort it would take to learn guitar, rather I am trying to get some seasoned opinions on the step-by-step most efficient process.

I don't know if I'll do it yet, I want to nail the sort of roadmap I'd be looking at, and then I need to see if logistically alot of my current responsibilities could be outsourced or reduced so as to free me up. I could, of course, tinker for many years and eventually get to where I would ike to be, but I do like fast-tracking if I can.

So thanks for Step 1 - what model or type of guitar would you recommend and why? Remember - no prior knowledge of guitar so it could be a Nimbus 2000 for all I know.

Anybody else?

Blue Moon - could you send us a pic of you in your nightgown :))? Even better, whilst playing guitar?

Does anyone know if the shirts that Joe wears in his concerts are available anywhere? Or does he just have them made for him?

Michelle,

White Zombie look and sound like they were meant for Halloween!! "Black Sunshine" had some freaky elements in it. What's with the old typewriter and the Mustang? Must be the period in history it depicts.

Maritime,

Where are you? SF Bay Area is finally getting wet weather! It's a welcome change.

Tracie,

Thanks for the love and encouragement. My man is very important to me. He has to stay healthy enough to work and work extra hard to stay healthy.

It's raining and the trick or treaters are out and about anyway. The kids are so cute in their princess, clown and pirate costumes--so far.

Is anyone here doing the SatchZone? Is that something that a beginner can do or is it for more advanced players?

Kilgelec: Joe draws them on a black shirt before every show. Just get a black shirt and draw one! :) LOL. Really, maybe you can take a cool hendrix shirt or something and offer to trade after the show? Sorry Joe.

The Satch Zone stuff is PERFECT for beginners, sign up now! Do it! go on! what are you waiting for? :)

Had a great day today, met some wonderful and interesting people here in San Francisco. Now I'm sitting in the departure lounge waiting for my flight home.

Pity I didn't come here a few weelks later to see Joe play at the Warfield (or will it be the Fillmore?).

Also had some people close to the action relay the same message. Joe and Hagar are STOKED about the stuff from Chickenfoot. I CANNOT WAIT! This is gonna blow some MINDS!

michelle - I had an aftershow pass to a Steve Vai show last tour and lost a Sharpie too...although I think it was his bassist Bryan Beller who ended up taking mine. Steve must have taught him well... ;-)

cheese101 - Awesome...!
Blue_Moon - Would you rather hang around Tracie while Joe gives her son a guitar lesson, or go cruising for women on Sunset Boulevard?
cheese101 / Blue_Moon - I forgot Al has some Homer Simpson slippers. I actually have a pair too, if you can believe that. So Al, you need to bring them on your trip so we can take a photo...haha.
Joe Satrini - I know I've sent you a million emails lately, but did you get the one I sent maybe 24 hours ago? I had some questions in there and I don't think I got a response.
Listening to: Joe Satriani - Rubina

I've had iTunes shuffling through all of Joe's music for the last few days...it's been fun. Ride was on just a moment ago, and I have to agree again with whoever it was who a few weeks ago said the riff/jam at the end would make a good basis for another song.

Anyway...

...Austin...
