;Railton - Well the first thing I would do with time travel is go back to when we started trying to figure it out in the first place and set them straight. Imagine how much more sleep people would get!! then probably swing by jimi Hendrix's for a jam. then head home before I ruptured the space time continuom!!!!
Good luck with the band.

Scubadaz - I'm not totally sure that's correct. It just seems like I read that somewhere a while back. The point of the article had something to do with why a dog's reaction time was so much faster than a humans. So 40 Hz and 60 Hz might be wrong....perhaps it was 60 and 80. I do know that 120 hz refresh rates on a tv is pretty much useless. Worse when you get to 240. While it's nice for sports, you really can't notice the difference. I guess I'll have to go find that article now.
But my question to all that was, if you were traveling at the speed of light, would your eyes be able to refresh fast enough to see anything or would you be in total dark?

"Batch of Satch"?
That's a really good point.... what the hell is it you're supposed to record these days? Kids aren't listening to albums, they've got one or two hit songs by all the popular bands. Rockband and Guitar Hero have told them what was "cool" and they've kinda ran with just that.
Will listening to an entire album for just listening sake be a thing of the past with this new generation? And what the hell does it mean to someone like me, whose been waiting years to record my personal record... Do you just stick to the plan? What is the contemporary thing to do?

Joe, who's going to be in your touring band? Mike K is going to be playing with Vai on Oct 22/23 in the Netherlands. Maybe Steve and Mike can come jam with you in Paris before they head back to the U.S.
Looking forward to your U.S. tour and coming to San Diego. Hopefully, you'll get booked at "4th and B" and not the HoB.

I'm heading to the studio in one month to start recording a new solo project with Jeff Campitelli (drums), Allen Whitman (bass) and Mike Keneally (keyboards). The new material is dying to be recorded, and I can't wait to get started. I don't have a title for the project yet, but I will let you know when I figure it out...

Happy Friday, everyone.
Michelle--I stil can't believe I have a girlfriend in Alan McLuni! ;-) I am getting used to the idea.
Hi Uncle Slans--Hope you're doin' well in Barca. There's gotta be some progress on the jobs scene. I keep hoping jobs are very important to most of us people.
Vertical blinds installed this week. It seems like it took ages to get the original draperies to this house replaced! My Steve even painted the living room because he perfected painting walls over the years from when he was a little kid....under the kind guidance of his dad! June is Dad's month.....I still miss my dad....Joe F. Thankfully there are other dads out there named Joe/Joseph.......makes me smile :-D.

Camping just isn't what it used to be ------ My 2 boys want me to set up the tent in the back yard tonight so they can camp out. Which I think is a great idea. But they also want me to take a tv out of their room and hook the xbox up to it so they can play games. sigh.....it's just not like it used to be!
If they knew that you could purchase a wi fi connector for the xbox live they'd be asking for that too! Guess I'll keep that one close to the vest.
