Joe,
I just watched a video that stared Grace Potter, Steve Kimock, you, Reed Maths, Willy Waldman, and Stephen Perkins. The song performed was " Cortez the Killer, when and where did you perform that song? I loved the faces you did at 4:07 and 4:13. When you moved your lips were you speaking the notes? I thought that was awsome!!! It was cool to see you not have your cool sunglasses on during a song

Great performances! My son started playing guitar last year at the age of 5, so I had to call him in to watch your videos as well. Both of us enjoyed them. Keep up the practicing, listening to Joe, and most of all have fun!!

Great White - Cortez The Killer was performed at the Jammys (award ceremony for jam bands) at Madison Square Garden in New York a few years ago...2005 or 2006.
That video has been posted here a million times because it's awesome...thanks for mentioning it again, as it gave me an excuse to link to it. ;-)

A very late Happy Birthday Joe!
9 pages to catch up, will return to them later. But first:
This saturday I went to see the Mayhem Festival at Albuquerque. Highlights of the day were watching the mighty Hatebreed from the front row, the meet and greet with them in which I shook their hands and chatted a bit and got an autographed poster and shotglass, all for free, Lamb Of God and Rob Zombie (Rob's show was extremely good)
This is the photo album
And now something I have never done before, 2 videos of Hatebreed performing in which I show up in my most demented headbanger state :)
Video 1 Video 2
I'm an extremely happy camper right now. Long Live Metal!!!! Later!!!!

Hi Joe, I would wish to you a very special next year of your life and I hope the same for me too. You and I (and other special person like us) we were born in July (on the 15 of July, is it right?) and the moon and the sun kissed our minds and our eyes. Next year I get married with Jus, my boyfriend, Joe we invite you to the celebration, in Cilento's National Park (Ogliastro Cilento, Campania... in the southern Italy). We love your music and i will try to find someone to play the song 'Ave Maria' of Schubert as you! Simply the best!
Best Wishes!
Maena Renzi.

WHEN I SAY I'M BROKE - I'M BROKE!
A little old lady answered a knock on the door one day,
to be confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner.
'Good morning,' said the young man. 'If I could take a couple minutes of your time, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered vacuum cleaners... "
"Go away!' said the old lady. ''I'm broke and haven't got any money!'' and she proceeded to close the door.
Quick as a flash, the young man wedged his foot in the door and pushed it wide open...
''Don't be too hasty!'' he said. ''Not until you have at least seen my demonstration.''
And with that, he emptied a bucket of horse manure onto her hallway carpet.
''Now, if this vacuum cleaner does not remove all traces of this horsemanure from your carpet, Madam, I will personally eat the remainder!''
The old lady stepped back and said, ''Well, let me go and get you a fork, cause they cut off my electricity this morning."

A Very Happy Birthday to Brian May!!!! He is 63 years old today. If I remember correctly, he was one of Joe's many inspirations. And he also performed with him in Sevilla '92
And there is also the classic that will always live in our memories forever. Bohemian Rhapsody

Michelle - surely Bob should sub to This Guy too cos you loves him and he plays good?
... and maybe Little Stevey too? : )
Axe - agreed, that's poor. For a long time the 1000's were coming through with bad neck pocket cracks etc etc. Did it miss quality control or did it happen at a shop/warehouse?
Given it should be under warranty I'd be asking for both pots to be replaced (dimarzio 500k pots I'm assuming) asap, and a little bit of something as compensation, or just a straight refund and go elsewhere
Blue Moon - the guy on the kyak could so easily have been you. Thanks for the post
Tikimon - think you might want to edit your link? Wow, that looks bad... but I want to know where it's shot because the waves at the intro were BIIIIIG : )
