Do The Stu, I just realized September is just around the corner. It just appeared there. So it doesn't look like Shannon and I are going. The want is there. Sucks though would of liked to go back to Tahoe.

Peace Lily- I think my drive isn't much shorter than yours. I can't remember right now exactly how many miles I drove last year to Tahoe and back, but the $250 speeding ticket in Oregon didn't help my budget for the trip. I'm about an hour east of Ontario if that gives you any idea of my trip.
My girlfriend is coming with me this year, she bought the tickets for me a couple months ago. We are gonna spend a couple extra days in Tahoe I think. This will actually be her second time seeing CF, we both caught them at their opening show in Seattle last year.
I've been listening to GYBO non-stop in anticipation. Future In The Past is really growing on me. There's not much better than cruising around town with it cranked loud enough for people in the cars next to me to hear Joe making noises with his guitar that most people have never heard before... I'm really hoping they give us a taste of what's coming on the next album, and maybe since this isn't their first tour anymore they'll cover some of Sammy's other stuff and some Joe tunes as well. I think a CF rendition of Big Bad Moon would be pretty sweet!

Anyone wanna buy a near-mint 1954 Gibson Les Paul?
Up for sale here...
No reserve....wonder what it'll end up going for, and what it's worth...
Happy Saturday peeps! Yes, Chris and I will be in Tahoe for the CF show and alllllllllllllll the line time beforehand, sigh...but we're looking forward to it :) It's a much-needed boost as we head into the fall, with all the changes coming for Chris. A little distraction is sometimes a very good thing.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE G!! Or Wavey, as we like to call him :) Where's the cake?

Hi Joe - I saw you about 5 years ago in Cincinnati at a Buddy Rogers in Clinic. I was the one that brought you an old concert t-shirt from a concert in Paris back in 1993 to sign...which I have since framed :-)
In any case, I was wondering if you can tell me the brand and style # of the sunglasses you wore in Super Colossal cover and in the HDNet broadcast you recently did on tv.
Thanks,
Paola C.

while riding down the road the other day and jamming down with " surfing with the alien, hunger over came me....i drove thru the drive thru of macdonalds and purchased a happy meal....to my surprise the toy inside was the " silver surfer', I was shocked at the oddity of something like that happening.
It looks exactly like the silver surfer on the album cover.
was that all just a fluke?

Cheese - wow that's a lovely guitar, can't believe the seller didn't put a reserve on it, and I would have thought a specialist auction house would make sure he got a top price from a collector.
This may have been posted already, but I heard the release date for the Batch of Satch is october 5 - which is fantastic because that's my birthday :0).

The Silver Surfer first appeared in comics in 1966. Joe (or the album designer) obviously borrowed the idea. Not sure if Joe is a fan of the super hero for the song idea. A Silver Surfer movies is in the makes to my knowledge.
