Joe,
Hi great White again! Just wondering if you are nervous at all about a new tour coming sooner and sooner every day! And I was also wondering if you are planning on using songs fom the new album? That would be awsome. Any special picks this tour?

yay!! I just bought my ticket for the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles!! :) While away at the Mountains, I missed the presale :( damiiiiiit. BUT! I still got a great seat Orch Row P Seat 21. Not the First 5 Rows like I wanted, but that's a good seat me thinks... but,.I really REALLY wanted Club Joe so I could meet him again :( but the price I saw was just waaay too much for me right now. Dammit again :(
So....................Im just gonna have to wait for another Casino gig (maybe Chicken Foot again!!) where I can catch him walking around going to eat his dinner where I will stop and interrupt his eating time again.
Heheeeee.....
I CANT WAIT FOR THE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Castle49- Glad you enjoyed the song, I played it several times yesterday. One of the great things about this forum is I am constantly learning about great music I never knew existed.
Also just want to say thanks to some extra special peeps, your thoughtfulness felt like a huge hug,,.. just when I needed one the in the worst way. :-)

WHOOO!!!! Im So happy I checked the News page, the In-store Signing in LA at Best Buy and I can make it. My day off! Oh, this is so sweeeeet
Im so excited!
Awesome!
I love these things. I went to one for The Cult back in 2000' but I was a nut along with others, and we camped out in the parking lot. It was fun but completely draining. Then a show the same night.... Im gonna be there super, super early as early as they let you line up! Yay!!!!!!

Just listening now to BS&WW and I gotta say that for me it is by far the best work he has done since ITLIS. Judging from the variations in content i'd say Joe took on board a lot of suggestions made by fans. I also find it much less self indulgent than recent offerings. Well done Joe.

Random morons thoughts:
# Track Wormhole Wizards grows on me like...erm...like.... my age!
# Mike Keneally is the best thing that ever happened to Satch.
# Can't wait to make out while The Golden Room playing in our boudoir. Baby put on your stilettos and silk dress and please bring your lovin' over here. My body is not a temple, it's an amusement park.

Got BS&WW yesterday.. I've listened to it a few times.
Can't wait to see it live in December.
Pyrhric Victoria, Wormhole Wizards and God is Crying really touch me at a personal level. I can't get enough of them.
By the way, is it just me or does The Golden Room remind anyone else of Banana Mango II from Time Machine?
Peace --

well, like so many of you i got my copy today. great cd. mike k. is providing some excellent keys on this. you can hear zappa's influence on him as you can on steve vai. i love the bittersweet sound on littleworth lane. reminds me of memphis somehow. great album. joe seems to be getting a bit more introspective and that is allowing him to really let that emotion flow. i can't wait till december to see this stuff live.

Hey Joe
ive wanted to write to you for quite a long time, but because of the danish "Law of Jante" (you ain't got nothing) i havn't been able to pull myself together
how do you feel about being that famous? aint you somtimes thinking "man i don't want to read my Fan-mail today!" ?
i've got a bit fan-mail because of my job (medic) from the few people i once saved :) - but its more like "its my job" - and i dont think that i would like thousands of mails every week.
im sure you know, but your music satisfys other people, and might even safe life - its incredeble what music does to people
i'm on my way educating from Medic to Para medic, and im still sure that you are more hero than me.
i hope you never stop doing what you are doing
and i hope that you read this post so that i can tell my children that i once wrote to a very cool guy :)
/Kris
PS: Sorry for my bad English, Im from Denmark

Haven't posted in a while......
Logicdjb: I listened to all your songs on ultimate guitar. WOW! How do you write so much stuff!
Phy_3: Ever since I've been on T2J and Satriani.com I've been wondering who wolf2 is and what he's doing.
Anyone interested in Dream Theartre! .......
Before Mike portnoy left I didn't know who they were, but now I think that they're the best non instrumental band out there!
I particulary like the Metropolis part 2 memory... (can't remember the name) All the songs on it are beautiful.
I'm so excited only 15 days until Joe, I hope I meet him, and then only another 6 days until I see him again in b'ham.

Joe Satriani, it is certainly ironic that you are playing yourself in a baseball movie soon after hitting such an amazing album so far out of the park! Incredible work by all involved! Is there anything that we can do to get you to film a DVD of this tour??
Grampy Steve- Could it have been Oriental Melody that you were thinking of? Maybe even a little bit of Theme For a Strange World. When I first heard 'Pyrric Victoria', it also reminded me of past Satch, but I almost always relate on of Joe's newer songs to one or more of his older songs. When you said something, I went straight for 'Theme...', but remembered the other comment about Strange Beautiful Music, so I checked that out. Pretty soon I had about 10 songs that I was certain had similar bits to 'Pyrric..', but I think 'Oriental Melody' is the one I was thinking of the first time I heard it.
The more I listen to 'The Golden Room', the more I hear a little 'Banana Mango II'. This is good because I frickin LOVE the Banana Mangoes, BUT, I also frickin LOVE 'The Golden Room'. I was hoping to hear BM II this tour, but I would rather hear Golden, and I don't think Joe will play both at the same show given their similarities.

Phydeaux_3: Thanks for the confirmation. It's been bugging me since last night.
I've listened to the whole thing a few more times. Wormhole Wizards has a really really nice groove to it. This will definitely be going into my main playlist.
