Hi everyone...new here...first post. Anyway, I've been following the teaser podcasts for the new album everyday and I can't believe how just these short clips move me. I can already tell that this will be my favorite Satch album since Extremist. Can't wait for Tuesday! And the Portland show Jan 11! Stoked!

Joe,
Turning my basement into a guitar studio!! I am trying to find a good software, microphone, head phones, and a processor. Do you think that I should use the Cad microphone you designed? What processor do you use in your home studio? Your answer would be very helpful to me. And if you have any other ideas for my guitar studio please let me know

So I have finally given in and bought a ticket for Hammersmith. Listening to the podcasts and the mention of a setlist containing some songs never played or not played for a while has finally convinced me to part with the cash.
During the last tour, I saw Joe in Bournemouth and I had a ticket then for Hammersmith the following day or 2 days later, but I did not go, the setlist was full of the same songs I had heard over and over again. Don't get me wrong, I love Summer Song and Mystical etc, but I always feel these shows are an oppotunity to play the new album as much as possible and some of the other stuff. The regular songs are on every DVD if you wanna see them.
So fingers crossed for a setlist to die for. If its good then I'll probably head out to the US and catch some more shows in January. Thats what I did in 2004. That was a great tour !
P.S. Just read the post about Wolf getting out the tub...Eeek ! the thought of him washing his furry bits is just too much !

Who's excited about Napa in 2 days' time? Other than Brian of course :-D. Who can give ole Skip a wave for the video camera?
Who can write a report of all the detail from leaving home to returning home and everything in between?
Thanks in advance.

Scube: I find the opposite!
I was playing 'cryin' yesterday, at moderate to low volume, and when I had to hold a few of the notes I just had to rock the pedal to the right spot and it holds a beautiful feedback sustain under control.
I find that setting it at just right spot, usually just rolled off a tad, suits me for most playing, it allows the artificial harmonics, but controls the sustain and feedback.
I guess you're playing at quite low volume? That makes it harder. Roo

Dear Joe, thanks for inspiring me to spread my wings as a musician. i used to be ust a pianist/keyboard player. then i picked up the bass really well, then i tried to play guitar, but it got boring and i had no ambition. so i looked for shredders on youtube, and you came up. after seeing Summer Song, i was inspired. now, i play, Kayboard/Piano, Bass, Guitar, and Bass Clarinet (just a little bit). you are a true inspiration. so thanks for everything. your fan, Oscar Perales of Jacksonville Florida.

Gotta love Joe's podcast for Wormholes Wizards.. Deep stuff. Lol "respectively" and enamored with his deep take there. I wish I could think and imagine spacey stuff like that.
Anyways---Im trying to save all the podcasts to my little Itunes Library thing on my computer, and its all in there just fine (at least seems to be, I know nothing about computers) can someone help me though, Is there any additional 'SAVING' to do there? I watched it all download in and I can play Wormholes, but now i dont know how to stop that podcast, and try another.
Does anyone know what im tallking about? help.
I cant log back on here until after work, late tommrow afternoon, I would really appreciate the help! please msg. me here... I want to save these podcasts dearly for my viewing enjoyment and meanings behind the new songs. And they are so precious
thanks to anyone,
Suzi
