No doubt about that. If China decided to cash in its chips today, the United States would no longer exist the way we know it.
Quite honestly though, we might be 10 to 20 years away from the entire earth hitting reset on the economic structure. Hell, the US social security will be 34 trillion dollars underfunded within 10 years! Let's not kid ourselves, there's no chance to ever bring that back to balance. Ever. And that's just one of our own issues. Bring the rest of the world economy into play and it's pretty clear to see that a massive reset is going to be required. The only real question.....does the whole planet join together under one currency?

But you can't leave them there either. No matter what they will never prosper. Strangely enough, it's going to be easier to ship a billion people out of north africa than it will be to find a way to make them prosperous right where they sit. That whole thing is a tragic mess.

@michelle- I found out about two weeks ago and was looking forward to seeing it. I forgot it was tonight and I missed it.
I can't #$@*&${ believe it!!!!! It's the closest it has been to the Earth in 18 years. Instead of it's normal 239,000 miles away it was approximately 221,000 miles away. My mom came home from her party and was like "you should have seen the moon. It looked so close". And I was like DAMN IT!!!!!
I'm so pissed right now. I can't believe I missed that. And I can't believe I forgot about it, too.

Spacecraft Cassini flies regularly around Saturn and its moons and makes a huge amount of photos. If you add those together you get an almost surreal HD movie.
As far as I know the Japanse city of Kobe recovered from the huge 1995 eartquake much faster than New Orleans from Katrina. Which says something about american government.
NEVER stop searching, don't give up: Elderly woman and grandson rescued 9 days after the initial earthquake and tsunami on March 11th.
Militairy action in Libya is not about protecting people from their "tirant". That tirant friend is someone the west did business and investment with happily a couple of weeks ago. It's about oil control where anarchy emerges. Why did the coalition wait just a little while? So the rebels would be weakened (who needs armed civilains with tanks in the streets?) and Khadaffi to go a bit too far so there would be a noble excuse for action.

I've been told now you can not only "deactivate" your Facebook account, but actually delete it. Makes lots of "friends" delete and sigh with relief. Back to life and putting surprise back in real life meetings and conversations. All the things you hadn't heard yet!!!

Oxley, I sat out on my deck with a glass of wine Friday night and watched the moon for over an hour. It was amazing to watch the way the colors of the moon changed as the clouds rolled past it. The different color clouds were really cool to watch. At one point, the moon disappeared behind this little ominous black cloud and was completely gone. My mouth literally dropped open because it completely snuffed out all the light of the moon - and it was a black cloud! I was like wtf! I don't think I've ever seen a cloud so black that you could barely even see it in the patch of gray clouds. The wind in the sky was blowing the clouds by at a good clip, but it wasn't windy at all on the ground. It was so amazing and clear when the clouds would leave big open spaces for the moon to shine through. Sitting under a full moon like that always fills me with gratitude and I thankfulness. Watching the moon and sun set are two of the best things in life.

Hi Joe
Sorry I can not now enjoy your music because I have schizophrenia
I have really wanted out of this.
I'm listening to your songs Dream Song.
I still dream to devote to music somehow
Even now I find it very difficult to play guitar and piano.

Hi Joe,
I am 15 and I am from the Czech republic.
Yesterday I joined your fan club , because I would like to be your pen - friend and get some new information about you and guitar . You are really my favourite guitarist , I love listening to your music - it is simply perfect ! I can listen to it any time .
I started playing the guitar when I was 13 and since then I have known it is my future ! I play it every day - I think it is very important , because I want to be better and better ! I would like to go a similar way like you - to write songs and play the guitar whole my life !
Now I am studying your book " Guitar secrets " - it is really useful and I like your style.
I was lucky last year - I could watch your concert in Prague on the 3rd of November 2010 , the concert was fantastic !!! I admire your self- confidence and ease while playing.
I noticed you were using Marshall sound amplifier instead of Peavey . How is it possible ?
And finally , I have some questions :
- When you were in Prague , did you like the city and what ?
- Do you have any advice for my future ? What to aim or what to avoid ?
- What is your favourite music and interprets ?
- What do you usually do before your performance ?
Thanks a lot and Have a nice day !!!
Your fan Jarda Tauber
