Happy Fathers Day Dad's, hope you have a wonderful relaxing day..I did, and what a nice dinner I had with all the shrimp tenpura I could eat thanks to my girls :-)
Zenfish: Thanks for the heads up on the cube amp..that demo you did is great, so clean and sweet, and dirty when it needs to be..You touch a little of VAI substance in there..I like it and also think Eric Johnson would agree Zen :-)
BigBunny: Enjoy, and there are lots of peeps that play an 8..Tony MacAlpine does as well, and I like what you can do with it..the tonal destruction is endless!! :-)

i saw Tony with Steve on the G3 Oz tour in 2006... but i couldn't tell he was playing an 8 string O_o like wow
i'm listening to Soraya right now and the Satch & Vai influences are right there tickling my eardrums >=;P but i know it's not them... it's not Joe O_o who has this tone??
edit: oh, how many albums do AAL have?

So is edge or edge pro better? Obviously they must both be awesome to be used in such a great thing as the 1200 :)
Are either of them used in the 1000?
Sorry for so many questions, I just want to make sure that when i do eventually get enough for one, i want to be getting the best guitar. Obviously the 1200 is the best, but i'd have to wait for probably about 1-2 years to get that. Ill be getting a part time job soon though, so that should knock a year off the waiting time. :)
Listening to time atm. Such a great song...

BigBunny: I believe Tony was only playing a 7 on that tour, but he also uses an 8 now..he is a musical genius as well, and AAL have only a debut album released, but I read their new album is finished, and s/b released soon! :-) I love the fact that Tosin is giving you the same vibe as me, cause I hear Joe and Steve in there, but not in there, lol....
Zenfish: Again, fine work my friend, the tones w/o a pic are true string to finger, and Richie Kotzen also knows this..kudos bro :-)

I'm glad to hear this part of the news
"Satriani stays extremely busy. In addition to the upcoming benefit, he has also been working on a 3D-film/DVD/CD project. It is a performance shot live in Montreal, and it is scheduled for theatrical release on September 23rd on movie screens across the United States. With this being a 3-D film, he talked about what an unusual process it was. He explained that the staging was very different and the band had to be rearranged on stage many times. He is very excited about this project, as this was the first time that he has had a five-piece band. Satriani promised that it “turned out fabulous”, and it was also shot in 2-D as well so it could eventually be released on DVD"

Thehawkguy: That's gonna be another thing to buy! :) Can't wait.
Black dog: That has definitely persuaded me then. 1200 it is! I'll just have to wait about a year, and then i will finally have my first awesome guitar. My current, and only guitar is a Vintage VS100. SG copy. And it's pretty damn good for the £220 that was paid for it. Good rock and blues tone, but the action's just too messed up for my liking. the d string is never, EVER in tune with the rest. I know it's not difficult to do, but i've been meaning to get a JS guitar for quite a while now, so 1200 ca sounds like the best bet! Thanks for all the advice. :)

Hi Joe!
MEGA BOUNCY BOUNCY BOING BOING!!!!!
Wedding was soooo perfect...lovely weather, perfect ceremony, great to have your friends John & Sylv there along with Joe/Pip Satrini. Having Love thing playing as I walked down the Aisle on Johns arm was soothing and lovely. Afterwards we walked through the town to take pictures on the meadow by the river, two swans even came along! We then walked to the local hotel for our meal with nothng but joe on the music system. We did have a dance to Sleepwalk which was beautiful. After that we got changed and met everyone at another pub for a band called the smokin hogs, who played rocky usa blues all night and although they didn't do requests the lead singer who was from Chicago, was so excited that they were our wedding night band that he insisted that we name any song and they would do it...Dave chose "Baby please dont go" which they played amazingly.
Absolutely fantastic day...the only way it could have been better would have been if you were there!
Hugs to you and thank you for having this site coz thats where we met.

This is great dear Joe, I am a numerologist and this is your " 7 the life path / numerology reading" (same as mine).
"7 The Life Path"
You are the searcher and the seeker of the truth.
You have a clear and compelling sense of yourself as a spiritual being. As a result, your life path is devoted to investigations into the unknown, and finding the answers to the mysteries of life.
You are well-equipped to handle your task. You possess a fine mind; you are an analytical thinker, capable of great concentration and theoretical insight. You enjoy research, and putting the pieces of an intellectual puzzle together. Once you have enough pieces in place, you are capable of highly creative insight and practical solutions to problems.
You enjoy your solitude and prefer to work alone. You need time to contemplate your ideas without the intrusion of other people's thoughts. You are a lone wolf, a person who lives by his own ideas and methods. As a result, close associations are difficult for you to form and keep, especially marriage. You need your space and privacy, which, when violated, can cause you great frustration and irritation.
When your life is balanced, however, you are both charming and attractive. You can be the life of a party, and enjoy performing before an audience. You enjoy displaying your wit and knowledge, which makes you attractive to others, especially the opposite sex.
But you have distinct limits. While you are generous in social situations, sharing your attention and energy freely, you are keenly aware of the need to "come off stage" and return to the solitude of your lair. You associate peace with the unobtrusive privacy of your world. Therefore, intimacy is difficult for you, because you guard your inner world like a mother lion does her cubs.
All this privacy and aloneness can cause isolation and loneliness, however. You can be aware of an emptiness in your life, a part of you that yearns for company and close companionship that may be unsatisfied.
If isolation is brought to the extreme, you can become cynical and suspicious. You can develop hidden, selfish motives, which people may sense and may cause them discomfort around you. You must guard against becoming too withdrawn and independent, thus shutting out the love of others and keeping you from experiencing the true joy of friendship and close companionship.
You must especially watch out for selfishness and egocentricity, thinking of yourself as the center of the universe, the only person who really matters. Social contact gives you perspective on yourself and on life, while too much isolation can make you too narrow and even shut off from the rest of the world.
Secretly, you may feel jealous of the easy relationships formed by others; you may perceive others as less inhibited than you, or more free to express themselves. You may harshly criticize yourself for not being more gregarious, powerful, or capable of greater leadership.
Your challenge in life is to maintain your independence without feeling isolated or ineffectual. You must hold fast to your unique view on the world, while at the same time being open to others and the knowledge they have to offer.
With your abilities to learn, analyze, and seek out answer's to life's important questions, you have the potential for enormous growth and success in life. By the time you reach middle age, you will radiate refinement and wisdom.
Pythagoras loved the seven for its great spiritual potential.
I hope you've enjoyed.
Best wishes,
Pupe
