to talk about rock, it is to talk about change, young generations in Spain, are trying to take the street looking for a new world,a world of the citizen , without corrupt politician, and citizen working for all the citizen.
Soo....we need a rock and roll, wall, to help the new spirit,
PLEASE ,can you come on tour some day to south spain, to motivate that spirit, we do need so.........much......sorry for my english.....

Ibanezebra- Thought I'd chime in on your situation as well. I just finished catching up on 5 pages of posts.. I have never played a high-end JS guitar, but I did buy a JS100 earlier this year. I picked it up from a guy in town here for $300!!!!, and it is in MINT condition. Since then, I've spent $120 on new p/u's (PAF Joe in the neck and Mo' Joe in the bridge), $70 in parts from ibanezrules.com to install the push-pull pot on the volume switch (for the high pass filter) and to replace the coil tap on the tone knob, and $60 in labor to have it all wired professionally. I'm no math whiz, but that gives me a JS1200-ISH guitar for around $550. All that's left is to upgrade the trem system, as the LO TRS II (or Edge III) are not the highest quality systems ever made. I will probably go with a Gotoh style Floyd so that I can (hopefully) avoid routing the guitar, otherwise I would put an Edge in there as that's what Joe uses on his own. Personally, I love the feel of the neck on this guitar, it is damn beautiful, it sounds amazing, and for now the factory trem is doing just fine. It holds a tune fairly well, but I have a pedal tuner in the chain, so checking the tuning between songs is not a problem. I should have prefaced this with the fact that this JS100 was made in 2001, so the trem springs are pretty worn out as well. I suspect a new set would help the tuning immensely.
Until the Hendrix prototype guitar becomes a production model, I have no intention of upgrading beyond my JS100; this is all the guitar I need!
Sorry for the rant, but I hope you got something out of it....
Ian

Damn authorities!! How can they cut short a joe concert, along with a vai and johnson!! They must be the most heartless people in the world...no musical taste. Darn, why couldn't they just let them play all night? Screw whoever was coming next, they couldn't have been better than G3!

Hi Joe
Just started playing full time again after eight years away in the military and loving it even more now. I have now found myself in Sydney Australia and wanting to know if there are ever to be any plans of coming to this side of the world?
If not then I will be making plans to see you in America when meeting friends in San Fran soon. Would be great to see you play.
Thanks
