I agree.... Spiritual health begins at home..you do not have to go to church.... The Bible will help you solve all of lifes problems.... Read it, you will feel healthy..much like listening to Joe's music! :-)

Joe's setlist tonight:
Ice Nine
Hordes Of Locusts
Light Years Away
Satch Boogie
Dream Song
Why
Super Colossal
God Is Crying
The Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing
Always With Me, Always With You
Summer Song
Galen wasn't there, but the rest of the band was the same. No disrespect to him, but I like how Joe sounds without another guitarist and it'd be cool to hear more of that in the future. Joe sounded freer, and I feel it left more room for improv.
Joe jammed with Deep Purple on Smoke On The Water. When DP came back for their encore, the played a bit of an instrumental version of Going Down before Hush that was likely a nod to Joe.
Great show, all in all! More from me later, when I'm not typing on my phone.
...Austin...

Do The Stu - thanks for that, any pics or vids to share?
Satriella - just got around to your lovely photos, very nice, and you look very happy, and Dave is quite cute. And you're right, Pip scrubbed up pretty well.

I am sure ppl have said this to u before, but i wanted to confess that your song RUBINA has inspired me to learn the guitar. The song is soo beautiful that no words in this planet can describe it.

Austin, I have to disagree. I think Galen brings a whole different dimension to the band and really fills the songs in nicely. Joe can go off any time he wants. lol! We've all seen the band looking at him to reel it back in, but I know what you mean. Glad you enjoyed some Joe!
So, did anyone listen to the link I posted of Portnoy's new band Adrenaline Mob?

michelle: Oops, first pass I only gave it 5 seconds, until I saw your 2nd post and remembered it is MP' new project, lol.... Uhmm.... Vox are a tad (small, small tad) similar to Ronnie James (rest his soul), the drums sound like Lars, lol, and there is no bass.... I'm thinking this is not the finished version?? I'd like to hear more from them, but the teasers aren't doing much for me and unfortunately I'm comparing them to DT. I'm not getting any of the Shock & Awe that I should be getting, lol....

Mikey, so funny you said RJD! lol! I was thinking the same thing! I can hear the bass on my speakers, but it doesn't stand out much. I heard a medley from the album, just short bits from each song, and it sounded like it could have been DT's new cd. lol! What'chu tink? lol! I'm excited to hear what A/M. actually sounds like in full. Same for new DT actually.

Hi, new member here.
I'm trying to find out what guitars, amps, cabs, and pedals Joe used on track #5 and #8 of his self titled 1995 cd. There are great tones all over this cd and I thoroughly enjoy it every time I listen.
I'm looking for specific details like guitar model, amp year and model (mods), power tube type, cabinet year, model, and speaker type.
I did watch the Reel Satriani video which offers great insight into the making of this record, but sadly didn't touch on any details of the rig he used.
Thanks!

Hi Everyone!
Hope everyone is well. I've been really busy with work at the hotel, especially working some doubles. It gets exhausting, and some friends think I should quit and do something else like music for example. I have been doing some karaoke at least once a week; so my singing is coming along. However, the tips do pile up and it pays the bills and the races I run in.
Unfortunately, the work does take a toll on the running and I haven't been training much. Earlier today, I ran the Greekfest Olympic 5K here in downtown Fort Wayne. Brand new course, a bit windy and warm, but it was all good. I finished in 6th place overall with a time of 19 minutes. I did take 1st in my Age Division. I have the opportunity to go up in Goshen to run with some elite running buddies of mine, so I might take that offer. This might help me with future races.
I will have some races coming up in July, as well as have the waiter/waitress competition, in which my team come in as the defending champs. With a busy July coming up ahead, I don't think I'll be able to see Joe up in Hammond. Oh well; that's okay though. I'm sure there will be more opportunities to go see Joe.
I have read the posts here whenever I get time. Wow, a lot of things have happened while I was gone.
Satriella: Congrats
Two Shay: I like your Ten Words lyrics and best to you and the family.
TheHawkGuy: Thanks for the post on Joe's upcoming movie. Hopefully I'll be able to see it.
Everyone: Hope you all are doing well. If you want to send me an email or a post on facebook, you're welcome to. I do want to keep in contact with you all. I have been busy with a lot of things and been trying to take care of some other/unrelated business.
Joe: All the best to you when you are in my state of Indiana in a couple weeks. I won't be able to see you, but I know you'll give an excellent show.
Take care everyone. Got work in the morning, and luckily I have the next couple days off once I get off. Sending you all love, peace, and good vibes.
Grant

Hey Joe,
Saw you last night in Corcord with Deep Purple. You were awsome as always. Missed Flying in a Blue Dream, I think this is the first time in 21 years I didn't see you perform it live. Smoke on the Water was Smokin'
Looking forward to the next time.

michelle: Yeah, I heard that teaser, and it is very similar to the DT stuff, but doesn't grab me as such, and the singer also sounds a little like the dude from Harem Scarem, lol.... Hear the similarity?! ;-) Here is their git Pete Lesperance sounding a lot like Joe in the melodic dept..beautiful playing.... Geez, did I go off track or what, lol....
Glitz Man: Happy to see your getting a little time in to plug the races..good on ya, and take care man....
