Half hour to go then, and someone's recently dropped in a bid of $10,700 for Joe's 06 JS1000 - that's almost £7000. If I'd won the euromillions I'd have dropped loads and Joe could have kept it - tis for charridee after all
I think I'll stay off that, as Pablo's looks a much more attractive deal right now... no, strike that, just opened wallet and two of the damn moths escaped...
A snip at $13, 505 US - cool

Ya gotta love Al, and Joe of course.
So if I exchange the BBWah for another one will the pot go scratchy again? there is a youtube video showing how to replace the pot, but then I void the 3 year warranty I paid $60 for.
suggestions?
JOE!!! if you read this, can you talk to VOX. I see several complaints on the Big Bad Wah similar to mine, the pot gets squeaky and sometimes sounds louder than the guitar. For a top of the line pedal the pot is pretty low quality.
Other than that I am absolutely in love with the Big Bad Wah.
Happy Birthday Joe!

Hey Joe,
I am from India currently doing my MS in industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University Stillwater (OK)..
I am a big fan for yours , and want to learn guitar for you. Actually i have been playing guitar for last 5 years and want to make it big, but my problem is that even playing for last 5 years I don’t get whether the next note is higher or lower to the previous note. In Hindi we called it “surr”.. And I am bad in Surr, timing wise I am good.
Surr is basically the 7 notes in a diatonic scale. Sa, Re Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ne, Sa.
I left India and came to US with a dream that you will teach me someday..
Please help me to improve my paying..
Thanks & Regards

well the BBW is one of the most expensive wah pedals at Guitar Center so I assumed it was really high end.
and its not a bad cable because it still squeaks really loud when its not plugged in. when ever I move the expression pedal it scratches and it gets louder every day.
for some people it never has any problems and for the rest of them they have problems in the first few days.
I don't know what to say.
Its not a huge problem, just a nuisance. If I am playing super loud I don't hear as much. But at midnight when everyone is asleep and I play at 1/10 volume its completely drowns out the music.
AL says it happens to all his wahs, so is it something I have to get used to?

Maybe wah's just don't like me! but it doesn't bother me, usually those wahs are lubed up good when they come out of the box, never thought of it as a biggie
Jamin yesterday and today in 2 x 6 hour sessions... the JS is a magnificent guitar
Happy Saturday

Hey Joe! It was great to meet you and Steve and then watch the benefit show at the HOB Sunday night in Hollywood. The VIP ticket price was worth it to meet you again, but to know that the proceeds were going to a great cause was awesome. It's too bad that I didn't have the UV777 that I just bought with me for you both to sign like how you signed my RG570 in Montreal on my birthday in 2008. I live in Ottawa and I'm really looking forward to the show tomorrow at the Bluesfest. Is there anyway that I could meet you to get my UV signed? You are the inspiration for my interest in continuing to play and learn, so I would really appreciate it. See you at the show.

Mick4 - There's no "official" meet'n'greet for Bluesfest but I think that if we wait by the buses after the show we _might_ be able to get some sigs. (I got Claypool's this way!). I'll be the guy wearing the Tony MacAlpine tee, say Hi if you see me.
smooches,
