Hey Phydeaux_3: I live in Stittsville as well and I do have Back Bar Concert Passes for tomorrow. But, I really don't want to risk bringing my UV777 with me unless I know there's a good chance that Joe will sign it. I met him and Steve Vai backstage at the HOB in Hollywood on Sunday and I told them I'd appreciate it being signed. I told Joe about Bluesfest when he signed my RG on my birthday at the Metropolis in Montreal in 2008, so I'm just glad to see him performing here. He is a really cool, down to earth guy, so let's hope he is generous in that way. See you at the show. Cheers,
Mick

HELLO JOE !! I'M FRENCH AND I'M ONLY 15. I live in paris at the 28th floor of a tower and I love to wake up at night to look the lights of this beautifull and magic city throught my window listening one of your songs.
My dream is one day to be abble to play guitar like you. It's my dream because I want to play your song LOVE THING to the girl I love to tell her that I love her because I think there's no words to tell her what i fell deep in my heart.
My mother dosn't want me to play guitar so i'll start to play only when i'll be 18 and I'm sad because maybe it will be too late!
thats why I promised myself that one day I'll play like you.
Sorry if there's errors in this text but my english level is poor...
LOVE
edit: Today I'm sending a mail to the girl I love to ask her to listen LOVE THING. I'll see her tomorow or saturday and I'll tell her my love. I'm nervous because I don't know what she 'll answer. She 's like we say in english My "Raison d'etre" and if she answer that she will never love me I'll be verry sad....

I saw Joe play on his birthday, at Casino Rama in Orillia, Ontario (15th July). Nearly sold out, with a few empty seats here and there. It was a great show, lasting about 2 hours. He played some usual favorites, along with some songs off his current album. What I enjoyed most is when he did longer reditions of a few songs, which stretched to about 10 minutes each, and I suspect with some improvisation.
He played the JS2400 for the entire show, although alternating between the white and red models. I own this guitar and it's really something... a different personality from the other JS Ibanez guitars.
Unfortunately no meet and greet at this venue, for any acts. Off to see Ted Nugent on August 13th.

Sucks that USA lost the cup, but I believe Japan needed it more. Congrats to them! Rise up!!

Hey Joe & all,
All I can say is that I truley hope that I missed the Arizona leg of the Black Swans Tour. I have been glued to the site AND to the local venues and have seen nothing...this is most disturbing! All fairness to Cliff and Chickenfoot(I too am a Foot Soldir=er!) but I will be saddened to think that I might not get the chance to see "Premonition" live.
Signed,
Distraught

I have just seen the "Posted Messages" that may shed some light on to why there have been no Arizona shows. I am truley saddened Joe. After all (at least my relatives, which are from Italy) were stranded on Ellis Island WAITING for there turn to ENTER this country-knowing and accepting that this was the process. At least your German-born example didn't get restricted to an island of the New York coast. And please remember that these are the same people that went on to be respected business people in Chicago-not identity theiving liars here ILLEGALLY-right or wrong.
I never thought that such an incredible gift like that of music (especially something as theraputic as your music) would be used as a tool against people for standing-up for themselves and thier property and even their Country, our laws DO state that their Visa Papers can be requested and reviewed at ANY TIME.
Hopefully we can get back to something strange and beautiful and leave the @*%^&$#-up of America to the politicians that have their own agenda anyway.
******We miss you Joe!!
Chuck

20+ years of trying to see you play and every time something happens that prevents me from seeing you.
Today was my birthday and you were making an appearance in Ottawa. An of course a freak storm collapses the stage that Cheap Trick were playing on and everything is shut down. I believe people are hurt, so this was a serious disaster.
It was really a surreal event. I saw a tech running in the downpour trying to protect a Les Paul.
Please, think about a visiting ottawa again!

sorry not to be able to do our show tonight and very sorry about those who were injured. Serious weirdness. We're all OK, back at the hotel

OMFG! That was some SCARY shit. I was watching Mike Manning setting up Joe's Gear (on the rail) and listening to Cheap Trick playing at the stage beside us, one minute they are playing I Want You To Want Me and the next their stage is completely gone! I almost couldn't believe my own eyes. Very surreal.
smooches,

I was watching from the Back Bar and it was like watching a 3-D natural disaster movie unfold in front of me. Too bad the show was cancelled but good news that there were no serious injuries and no fatalities. I sure hope Joe and the band come back another time.

Wow so I just heard about the storm. Thy is so scary. Literally made my heart sink. Praise god everyone is ok and there were only minor injuries.
Last night I was sitting out on my deck and it was storming pretty hard here. Then lightning hit just in front of the house and the thunder was so ear piercing loud. It was insane. Kind of scary.
