Met up with this blues singer tonight, nice chap and nice voice, having a jimini jam next Thurs, he's been around the block but knows a fair few folk, I believe Brian Downey was his drummer for a few years at one stage... hopefully it all goes happy as Larry

Hey Joe!
(and hey to anyone else who reads this! :))
Love the music, such an inspiration and can't wait for the next chickenfoot album and your next solo album!
This may sound weird but I would love to get a satriani inspired tattoo, may sound quite extreme but without hearing your music, i wouldnt be where im at today, with guitar and just the person i am, and if you read this Joe and would like to design it, just draw just a quick doodle of a character or anything and send it to robjchaplin@hotmail.co.uk, i would definitely get it done, be appreciative beyond words and send back a picture ;D
From a dedicated fan, just like the rest of us here!
Rob :-)
(its worth a try :P )

I ordered BLUE guitar strings AWESOME!!! XD
there are all sorts of colors, but at $12 a pack plus shipping its not gonna be a regular thing. I ordered 3 set of D'Addario from musiciansfriend.com for the Satch sweepstakes and that was $12 and free shipping. one set of blue DRs was $20 with shipping.
but one day I wanna buy one of each color and mix them together on the guitar
RAINBOW STRINGS FTW!!!

Those coloured dr strings actually feel pretty nice considering I thought they we're a bit of a novelty, nice life out of 'em too, not liking d'addarios too much nowadays :|

Joe - I just wanted to say thank you. I've been going through some very tough times lately, and your music has really kept me going. You seem to hit several different emotions all in the same song. I've really been hittin repeat on Love Thing, Rasberry Jam, and Friends. Please keep up the good work. Hope you make it to the Delaware area soon. Thanks again!!

Hey Joe,
Over the past fiew months my interest for instrumental rock has grown greatly and I would like to thank you for bringing to us such beautiful music and for inspiring me when I pick up my guitar.
I would also like to ask you if you have any shows planned in Switzerland because I would love to see you perform on stage and experience such a show.

Man, Joe is really logging some miles right now isn't he? Cali to Canada to Europe.
Any new news on who the drummer for Chickenfoot's tour is going to be? I read that they were looking at John Mellencamp's drummer. Interesting choice. He's a minimalist like Chad. Could be a decent fit. I wonder if they approached Jeff C about it? Huh. Looking forward to getting a good listen to Bigfoot next week!
