Toosh, keep on fb fishin'. I'm not biting. I can't even remember the last time I was on Joe's fb page, and he's the reason I made a page in the first place!
ALL BREAKING NEWS SHOULD BE POSTED ON SATRIANI.COM FIRST!
:-)
I'm just sayin'.
Anyways...
Happy birthday Randell!! Hope you have a good day :-)

I'm not really a facebooker myself, only realised I was when I got home from sea once and had literally hundreds of e-mails. Mrs Cappy had set it up for me (for her) so I could be a farming friend and send her all sorts of shite and help her get a bigger farm. Since then i've slowly got into it and although I don't friend many peeps it's helped me get back in touch with cousins living on the other side of the world in Kiwi land. I also joined a little T2J breakaway which can be quite interesting and fun.

Zincy - I've sent you an email, thanks mate.
Cheesey - I hear ya girl. Would be nice to see some blue but clearly Jon and Joe's marketing strategy centres around Facebook and all communications are channeled through there (even with an auto-update to Twitter) where thousands of people see the updates fairly quickly. I think they are just exploring with Google+ to see how effective it is and after a while it too will go to auto-pilot as well. The temptation (and the hook for fans right now) in the early days is to perhaps be able to chat or connect with Joe directly.
I guess there's a Catch-22 for artists also in that if they start to communicate too much with fans (replies to individuals) it creates a tsunami of other fans pinging them in the hope they will also get a reply. Just look at all the FB posts that quickly accumulate under every FB update - Joe would never have time to read them let alone communicate with anyone and it would only grow bigger if he did, thereby making it worse.
So back to the first comment, it would be nice to see a regular few blue words here. I do like hanging out with everyone here, though, in the absence of Joe. It's more intimate than FB.

Randall, that's a fun movie, we saw it last weekend :) Hope you're having a good birthday, as good as it can be for ya!
Peace and Skippy, I hear ya both. I see the reason for reaching out on any media that's popular, gains more fans that way...but I don't think Joe should abandon us here at t2j either. He needs to spread the lub around, lol! I come here first for Joe-news, check it several times every day to see what's new. Mostly it's us fans interacting with each other, without Joe. Maybe he needs to be cloned?
Peace, love and hugs for your dad and all that he (and your family) is going through. I hope that by losing his arm, as hard as that is to go through, that it may save his life. I'll keep him in my prayers Deb!

Hi Joe... I read the Chickenfoot article in Rolling Stone, sounds like this new record is going to rock hard! I hope there is at least a little bit of Distressor on the guitars? ;-)
See you on tour this Fall.

poppin back in to check on the peeps. With all the band sites I have to manage I don't get here too often.
Cheese I hear ya on the Google + I've gotten a few invites. One person even got mad at me for NOT accepting. And that was after I told them I just can't add another site.
For those of you in the PDX area we will be playing the Ash Street Saloon as part of the Rockfest Top 10. Out of 40 bands we came in 7th. Be cool to see some T2L peeps out there.
Have a great day

Needing some vibes from satchland.... Wanda Sue is losing her battle with cancer.. Some of my fondest memories are when we would meet up with portland folks, grab a beer and head to the joe show. Wanda loved him as much as I do and there are several pics of her, joe and me on facebook... She was knee deep in chemo when we went once... What
a blast she had hanging with joe... Thanks to Civ and cheese who always made out fun to come go to a joe show...
Joe, one of your greatest fans has fought so hard... For 6 years now. The first time I heard wind in the trees, it reminded me of her... And always will. Gods speed wanda sue! Will meet you down in the front row in front of joes pedals again.

Wanda Sue, if you're a Satch fan you're a friend of mine in cyberworld, and it sounds like you've bathed in the Satch glow with your friend the Fireman quite a few times.
Let those memories give you strength as you fight the big fight and you'll have my cyberhugs all the way from Oz too.
Its our turn for a tour Joe!!

Aww damn! I thought Wanda had beat the beast! Thoughts & prayers coming yer way. Very sad news.
I'm up after 4 hours of sleep. Zappa Plays Zappa & Return to Forever were fantastic! More later. Trying not to be late for work, but my ass is seriously dragging...hard. lol!
Anybody ever take notice that Frank Gambale looks like a cashew?

Hi Joe,
I saw you in Toronto (at Massey Hall) in the winter/early spring of this year. Awesome show!
I understand that Chickenfoot is auditioning drummers (?).
I live in Canada, however a friend in LA has asked me to see if I can find-out how to go about applying to get one of these auditions.
He is a professional drummer, and also extremely talented...
Do you have any suggestions/recommendations...
I think he'd be PERFECT, and would give a limb just to compete fairly for this gig.
Thank you, in advance, for your time and careful consideration in this matter.
Sincerely, Brock.

Ken, I too thought Wanda was okay, had no idea things went so bad for her. I'm so sorry, she's a beautiful lady and has the most wonderful spirit. Prayers and hugs to you both, and to your son. God bless you all.
