I've got a couple questions here for anyone who might be able to help out.
First one, looking for a good single coil pickup for my strat's neck setting. I don't particularly want just a strat single coil either. I want a little diversity with my guitar. :D
Brand doesn't matter terribly much. I just want a nice warm sound, similar to what Satch here gets. :D If at all possible.

Joe, I am working on physically launching a satellite into space and was wondering if and how I might go about using "Flying in a Blue Dream" as part of the project?
Thanks and love your music!
By the way, my friend opened for you many many years ago in Portland Oregon. Brion James if you remember him.

BigB, yes, Travis Barker is the drummer in Blink.Funny thing with that band. I like all the members, but not really their music, though I haven't heard their newest Neighborhoods yet. Mark & Tom are hilarious, and I absolutely love Travis's drumming. I'm not "into" rap, but it can be fun as hell to listen to sometimes. Just listened to the whole Roxette song. Still not my cup o' Joe. lol!
P. Lily, awesome, isn't it! lol! I got halfway through Joe's interview. Good stuff. Love Mikey's 3-D pic, and the 3-D inside of the cd cover.

Tenth Anniversary of two phenomenal double live albums!
Just wanted to congratulate Joe & Steve Vai for bringing us the magic of two phenomenal live albums:Joe's "Live in San Francisco" & Steve's "Alive in an Ultra World" . I still listen to these albums regularly and am blown away by the inspiration I get when I hear them.
Here's a cool video of Satch & Vai jamming for Guitar One back in 2001. I still have this issue of the magazine archived:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLZ3qIErTDE&feature=results_video&playnext=1&list=PL265602CCA7EAB898
So guys, when's there going to be a real album of you two collaborating?

Joe Satriani,
A god amongst insects.
I reside in what is called by many "Music City USA" Nashville TN. A town with claims of rich talent but bereft of the inspiration that is the Forgotten and Ceremony.
I'm writing this to find an answer to the question of; What must be done, What must be tithed to court favor, that you may grace us with a solo performance?
Name your venue, name your ticket price. I beseech you to come and subjugate these musical charlatans to the rule of your six strings.
Seriously, PLEASE consider doing a show here. PLEASE. Recently we've had Ozzy perform with the incredible Gus G, as well as a performance by Buckethead, but I want to see you play here before I die. It's on my bucket list.
Be safe, Be well, and thank you for everything you've played. I wonder if you know how far your music has reached some of us. How instrumental (pun intended) it has been in helping some of us maintain our sanity.

Hi everyone, this is Erin, Michelle's daughter. I'm a graphic design major and we had an assignment for one of my classes to make a design for Roots of Development (you can Google them). Overall, they are an organization that is helping the people of Haiti rebuild their communities. The design is meant to be printed on canvas grocery bags that will be sold at Whole Foods stores, and the profit from the bags will go to Roots of Development. My design got chosen as a finalist! (As well as some of my friend's!) I would really appreciate if you guys could take a minute to vote. All you have to do is go to their Facebook page and 'like' the design. Here is the link to the choices. Mine is the last one in the second row with the hands.
Thank you everybody!

I was just introduce to your music a few months ago. My band got so into it that we fired our singer and just did Satriani covers (mostly) and folks went crazy at the end of our set. None of the teen bands (we are still in H.S.) wanted to follow us so they ended up putting some old guys with banjos. Funny Stuff. We however were offered more gigs that one day then we had been in the entire 6 month prior. Proof that you are still the king!
TNTBAND
Also funny is that I have a Ibanez Jem (Vai's Guitar) that died trying to play this stuff. Guess I now know what to trade up to!!!! You Rock!
