Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all good. Have bought the new Chickenfoot Album, it's brilliant ! Had it playing in car whilst driving around UK recently. Fab'lous. Cannot get to the two Gig dates in UK next year, so disappointed. Hope you will be able to get some more dates booked here in the UK Joe. Would be amazing to see you play live.....Thanx...:)

Great Chickenfoot show last night, as expected...
The set had more songs from the first album than I thought it would. It was great to hear My Kinda Girl again, though...I never thought that one would stick around. I like Turnin' Left, but it would have been neat to hear maybe Differrent Devil in its place.
They played most of the new album, except for DD, Dubai Blues, and the hidden track.
I think Kenny sounds great with the band, though their overall sound is different. I don't think he plays the first album's stuff as well as Chad, but I did like him a lot on Down The Drain (it sounds like they played it slower than they have in the past...I like that).
More from me later, but here's a pic for now:

EDIT - Oh, I almost forgot...Mike Manning was MIA. It was weird to see Joe with a different tech...does anyone know what Mike is up to? Is everything OK?
...Austin...

Correction via twitter with Dave Weiner:
"Dave Weiner Reposting this with the correct announcement: If you missed Steve Vai's announcement this morning, G3:2012 (Satriani, Vai & Steve Lukather) will be playing the East Coast Blues Festival in Byron Bay, Australia on April 6th. I'll be pridefully playing guitar in Vai's band for the 13th year!"
Bit different from what he said earlier, but bottom line is....they are AUSTRALIA-BOUND!! :)

Joe.... My father passed away in 1994, I played "Cryin" at his funeral and on my tape player non stop for about a month. That piece really hit home and helped me through what was the most troubling time of my life. The emotions you sent through the guitar described EXACTLY what I was feeling at that time. I didn't find out until last week why you wrote that piece. I feel you. Your music has been an inspiration to me for so many years now and your ability to express emotions through sound is nothing less than a godsend. And to think, if it wasn't for Hendricks, you'd probably be playing for the Cowboy's right now...LOL

Hello to all...this is my first visit...I am in Phoenix Az...I have played guitar for 10 years but had a long period when I stopped as a result of a "Skill-saw" accident...but I decided if django could play with 2 I can play with 3 fingers....at first it was limiting but I found a killer jazz teacher that taught me to play with triads, adding 6ths.7ths...etc But the real reason I am here Is that I have been a Joe fan since Surfing came out...there is nothing in the world like music (to me subjectively of course) but I look forward to interacting with others on this website...have a great night, day whatever it may be
