Hey Joe. Saw you guys at the Warfield in November. Also saw your tour in Reno, and saw you open for Sammy in wine country. Amazing, as always. Hopefully you guys will come to Tahoe again this summer. Anyway, I'm hoping you'll add a couple of songs to the summer tour setlist: Dubai Blues and No Change.
See you guys around the bend

Mr Wooley, instead of doing our homework, my oldest sis & I would blast Master of Reality and sing and memorize the lyrics from the album cover. Erm, really should have hit that homework a little harder. lol! VH - Eruption stole my soul. lol! I wish for every person on earth to have the kind of reaction to some sort of music like we did to Eruption. lol! Hands down, that was the shit. lol!
I was talking to my mom tonight. I told her that Don Cornelius from Soul Train had shot himself & died. She didn't remember who he was. I said "You know, Don Cornelius, the guy from Soul Train back in the 70's?" She says without skipping a beat "Oh, I was to young to remember the 70's." LOL! 78 yrs old & still full of piss & vinegar. lol!
For those who don't know the beauty of Sabbath M.O.R. - Orchid

I know i have ...
that is why I ended up here.
When I listened to the Crystal Planet album for the first time it was like falling in love.
Like finding something you have been looking for all your life but didn't even know it existed... when it is discovered your soul recognizes and welcomes it home.
it made my heart sing & my soul ache in an almost religious experience......
I was blown away by the shear beauty of it all....
and I still am

A post by David Draimen (singer of Disturbed). Sadly, here at t2j we know some of those people. Damn shame if you ask me.
IT NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE ME THE LENGTHS THAT PEOPLE WILL GO TO JUST TO TRY AND GET YOU ATTENTION FOR A BRIEF MOMENT. THE COMPUTER HAS BECOME A WONDERFUL AND TERRIBLE INSTRUMENT ALL AT ONCE. WITHIN THE INTERNET WORLD, YOU CAN BE ANYONE YOU WANT TO BE; THE ONLY PROBLEM IS PEOPLE AFTEN LOOSE TOUCH WITH THEMSELVES AND WHO THEY REALLY ARE, AND BECOME OBSESSED WITHT THESE FANTASTIC PERSONAS THEY TRY TO CREATE ONLINE. IT'S ESCAPIST; AND WHILE GETTING AWAY FROM REALITY EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE CAN DO A PERSON SOME GOOD, NEVER GROUNDING YOURSELF IN REALITY ITS GOOD EITHER.
THE EVEN MORE COMICAL ONES ARE THE GROWN ADULTS WHO BECOME LIKE CHILDREN; POKING AT A BEE-HIVE WITH A STICK, HOPING AND PRAYING THAT THEY WILL ILLICIT A REACTION, AND WEARING IT LIKE A BADGE OF COURAGE THAT THEY EAGERLY FOWARD TO THEIR LITTLE GROUPS OF COMMON INTERNET JUNKIES, SO IMPRESSED WITH THEMSELVES THAT THEY THINK THEY BROKE THROUGH SOME FICTICIOUS WALL OR ACTUALLY GOT SOMEONE'S ATTENTION.
TO ALL OF YOU PATHETIC, I CANNOT COMMUNICATE WITH REAL PEOPLE, STILL LIVING AT HOME WITH YOUR PARENTS, CANT GET A RISE UNLESS YOU GET A RISE, PATHETIC, TROLL LIKE, EXCUSES FOR NORMAL HUMAN BEINGS OUT THERE; HONESTLY, STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD, GO OUTSIDE, GET A REAL JOB, FIND SOMEONE TO LOVE YOU (IF YOU CAN), AND WAKE THE FUCK UP. YOU ARE WORTH NOTHING MORE THAN A MOMENTARY CHUCKLE, AND THEN YOUR STUPIDITY IS SIMPLY ERASED, STANDS FOR NOTHING, AND ACCOMPLISHES... NOTHING.
YOUR'E A MOMENTARY DISTRACTION IF ANYTHING. LIKE A FART, THAT IS BLOWN AWAY BY THE BREEZE.

Hey Satch,
I'd say play some of the classics but also play something you have never (or rarely) played live. Like If I Could Fly, Lords of Karma, Asik Veysel. I would love to see another version of Searching.
There are hundreds of videos of Ice 9 and Satch Boogie but none of Souls of Distortion.
Just something to think about.
Good luck Joe.

Hello Joe & Everybody:
Joe: As for your setlist, here is my list of suggestions:
Musterion, The Chords of Life, Movin' On, Mountain Song, Revelation, The Forgotten Parts 1 & 2, Come on Baby, Raspberry Jam Delta V, and The Crush of Love
As for the group, here are my suggestions:
Crowd Chant, Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix, You Really Got Me by The Kinks, Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, and maybe some Bruce Springsteen maybe Born In The U.S.A. or Born to Run ;)
Have today off from work, and taking today off from running. Thought I put a post in to see how everyone is doing.
Work is coming along well, we'll be busy sometime next week with Valentine's Day Reservations, a big group coming in to stay at the hotel for about a week, plus the opening of our new bar.
Running is going well. Last Sunday was the Fort Wayne Track Club Banquet. I got to meet Shalane Flanagan, whom was our guest speaker, and will be competing for the U.S. at the 2012 Olympic Games, which she'll be running the women's marathon. I received a plaque for taking 1st place in my age group, and I also received the 2011 FWTC Spirit of Running Award, which was a huge surprise. I didn't expect getting that award.
I have decided to stay with the FWTC for another year and I have two races coming up this month; one next Saturday (first FWTC Points Race which is a 5K), and the other is on February 26th, two days after my 27th birthday, which I'm running, for the second time, the (4th) Annual Maple Leaf Indoor Marathon.
Talk with y'all later.
Grant

The Extemist-Premonition-Back to Shalla bal-Friends-Summer song-Light years away-House full of bullets,Crowd chant would have to be in there somewhere, for the group jam how about La Grange ,Free Bird or even War pigs.Just thinking what tunes might be good for trading licks not quite sure what kind of stuff is included in the jam.Looking forward to the gig, thanks and stay cool man.
