Hi everyone - been busy - but I check in here and there. Not a lot of time to post like I used too.
I have searched and haven't found an answer.
Previously, Joe (the music company) would offer autographed copies of new releases.
Has anyone seen any mention of this for the new CD & DVD?
Otherwise, I will just get them from Amazon.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as always.
Thank you.

I'm deeply saddened on the news of Jim Marshall's passing. He created the tone we all cherish in rock: Big, bold, beautiful and in your face. With every power chord, soaring melody and searing lead we will continue to salute his legacy. R.I.P. Lord of Loud, Jim Marshall.

I dont suppose anyone can enlighten me on why there are no UK G3 shows? Is it just me being stupid, or is there a specific reason? Thanks :)

Hi,
I've been a huge fan of Joe Satriani for over 20 years. Last week I went to the G3 concert at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne Australia.
I came prepared and wore ear plugs the whole time. But the sound was so loud it was too painful to stay.
I complained to the staff and they said they could not turn it down. I told them we would have to leave, as it was just too painful. They offered us seats (further from the stage) and we moved right near the back (where other people had moved to as well because of the excessively loud volume)
It's been over a week now and I can't sleep, can't work, can't concentrate because of the constant screaming in my ears of tinnitus.
I expect professionals like Joe to be considerate of the safety of his audience. The comparison that comes to my mind is that his sound engineer is like a child running around the house with a loaded gun. What ever happened to, "With great power comes great responsibility" and alike.
I don't know what I am going to do, I feel like this has destroyed my life.

I was at the Adelaide gig and i will say that Joe's set was louder than the others,a couple of times it was just a wall of noise and i couldn't work out what was being played. My ears were ringing a bit after i left but soon recovered.

Thanks to everyone who said a prayer or sent good vibes... My mom passed away shortly after midnight last night surrounded by her family. Please keep us in your prayers a little while longer.
As she was passing, a lullaby came over the hospital speaker. A fresh new baby entered the world. It made us smile.
much love
M

Breaking a string on a Floyd-rose style bridge? Guitarists know that is a problem from which the unfortunate guitarist cannot recover without a fresh axe. So Joe, what do you do? Do you have a guitar tech super-ready to hand you a knew guitar, or do you just stop and re-start? What if it comes near the end of a song? That is the one downside of using a floyd-rose guitar, huh?
