Chelle, I'd hafta register my mum at satriani.com so we could put her down as attending the show, her luck she'd win aftershow passes, LOL!!! That would be the best EVER, to have her meet Mr. Joseph. Today she said "He seems like a nice man". LOL!! I played her Three Sheets to the Wind and she liked that one...till it got to the "rattle bang part" in the middle...but it smooved out again on the last half and she was back to toe-tapping, LOL!! She'd prolly pull him down a coupla feet fer a smack on the cheek...
LOL!! Makes me smile just to think of it :D My mum, and Mr. Pip's mum...Joe's cheeks wouldn't stand a chance!!!
Ian, I too am sorry about your divorce. I remember meeting your wife in Reno and she seems very sweet. I hope you'll both be okay in the end. It's never easy, but it is survivable and you can eventually go on. Hugs, hope to see you in Salem but drive sloooooooow in Oregon!

How could I forget Wolf. I didn't see any of your precious rants in the unread messages that satriani.com offered me when I signed in the other day. What would this place do without him?
Michelle, thanks. Your message reminds me that you are in Pennsylvania, yes? She is actually in Pittsburgh for another hour or so; had an interview at UPMC for a residency position there.
I was really hoping that Joe would include Boise on this tour. I guess there's still a chance that he will, but I'm not holding my breath.
It is surprisingly cool here today, seeing that is has been in the 90's for the past week. I think I will head out to the range and do some shootin'. I haven't played my guitar in at least 6 months... My fingertips are soft as a baby's butt again.

Looking forward to Joe's gig on 9th June in Glasgow, just happens to be my Birthday too. Just booked my holiday, going to stay with my Cousin for a couple of weeks in LOS ANGELES, and imagine my surprise when I realise my visit coincides with Joe's gig at the Orpheum Theatre on 31st August, so I got on the phone to my Cousin to see if he could grab us a couple of tickets, 15 minutes later he text me to say he had them, front row of the balcony. So hopefully I might run into a couple of TTJ ers.

Joe
Any chance of adding a show in the Chicago land area in 2013?
I'd love to take my kid to see you. Teaching him how to play guitar and would be great for him to see a master. Trying to show him that everything doesn't need to be in drop c although it was fun for me to drop tune his guitar that has a Floyd Rose and an interesting teacher becomes the student moment. Love the new album!
Thanks

TurboIan, yep, I'm all the way on the other side of PA. Pitt is 5 hours from here.
I have a day off and a ton of things to do, and I have this nasty, manky cold like an anchor around my head saying "lay down Shel, lay down." lol! UGH!

Freddy, I thought I saw a post that said you guys were in Boise last week, but I couldn't remember. I have been meaning to ask how your wife has been? I see that you are also going to the Salem show. I am waiting for 10:00 to roll around so that I can purchase a ticket and get on with my day. Actually, I am assuming that they mean 10:00 Pacific, which would make it 11:00 here. I am debating whether or not I should go to the Spokane show in addition to Salem. I would love to see Joe twice again this tour, but money is a little more hard to come by these days.
Glad to hear from you!
Ian

Enjoy Salem peeps. Our business is struggling atm... Can't justify fun stuff when I owe so much money to others. Business is so cut-throat these days . We've been awarded bids and had them "shopped" right from under us. Its illegal but creating waves is also bad for business. ANyhoo nuff about me. Hope ya all get the seats you are dreaming of. :-)

Hey Civigeek
I know you haven't been too stoked for his CF stuff but I really think the last 2 albums have been amazing. This one especially has tons of emotion and soul.... Three Sheets is over the top fun and different.
Give it a listen tho I know your busy with your own stuff... Don't think you'll be disappointed!
Later!
