I have tried SO MANY times to win the passes.... this has got to be my time. If I don't get the aftershow for Ottawa my head will explode. Do you want my blood and brains on your hands Joe??? I didn't think so. Everyone wish me luck this time.. after so many tries this HAS TO be the one! Plus, Wifey is coming with so I've got to spoil and impress her, right???

Speaking of the show in Ottawa ... its 6/5/2013 and the presale ain't working for me. I'm old and grumpy and going to bed mad.
I'll blame this on the bastards at ticketmaster, and feel just a tad better. BASTARDS!!

I thought wife looked real sexy a couple months ago wearing her cowboy hat and holding her rifle. Don't get me wrong that thought stirred my manhood again. lol.
But tonight as we were driving home she kept cranking the stereo while we were listening to UM and man that was hot too.

10am (our time) eh1... good luck mang!
We were probably very near each other at Bluesfest when the stage fell over on Cheap Trick. I was against the rail watching Mike Manning scrambling to get covers on the amps & monitors, then security came and chased us off, just as well as I had noticed the ladder trusses swinging back and forth like a pendulum! Then the guy next to me said "Hey, didn't there used to be a stage over there?" & when I looked over to where the other stage had been there was nothing there anymore but a crumpled heap of metal. Glad we're all still here for the make-up show!
Let's keep our fingers crossed that the NAC doesn't meet with some kind of freak un/natural disaster, eh?

Joe and Band,
I have been playing guitar for a while but I am new to electric guitars. I just heard "unstoppable momentum" and loved it. I would like to replicate the sound of the rhythm in that song but I don't know how. I wanted to know what is used for that song? Any specific pedals or amps?
Thanks!

I really hope Joe does another DVD on this tour. They have captured the last few tours, why stop now??!!
I would even be happy with just a live album!
I don't care what song it is, if Joe Satriani wrote it, and Joe Satriani plays it - it needs to be recorded and listened to, over and over! It was meant to be heard LIVE!

The sun is back in Paris. What a beatiful day -blue sky and 24°C this afternoon. Great to see that summer still exists :) I walked back home insted of taking the metro and I listened to the whole Um. Now images of the show appear in my head and get mixed to the feeling the songs already made me feel, and they sound even better.
I posted some of the photos I took during the show on Instagram but only a small part of them. All of the are on #um_paris if you want to see them.
To all the people who got a ticket for a show: enjoy yourself, you'll see that tour is amazing, the songs, musicians, Joe of course... Everything !

Pre ordered a signed copy of Unstoppable Momentum but have not received it or a proper explanation from mypay driect why it was not posted out. Cancelled the order today, but I am bitterly disappointed to have to do so. I have had promise after promise that my order was being fast tracked but this has not happened. I live in the UK. Are there any more unfortunates out there?
