Hey Joe,
I see by your tour schedule that you are a busy man so please forgive my somewhat selfish request to ask you to hurry back to Australia (Adelaide especially) as soon as you can. I missed your previous rendezvous in 2012 and again earlier this year due to my health being poorly but I am coming back with a vengeance and eagerness to experience the magic of my favourite creative artists. As a matter of fact I caught Steve (Vai) for the first time here in Adelaide just this month at her majesty's theatre and not only was it a lot of fun but a kind of dream come true sort of experience. Funny thing was a month and a bit before the tickets were announced I had thought to myself "sure would be nice if Steve Vai came to town" two weeks later I get an email from the ticket company!!! Anyway enough blabbering from me. Hope you had a beautiful birthday and your tour is full of joy.
Best wishes from the Archinator

Dear Mr. Satriani,
I get into a state of synesthesia every time I hear your songs (it seems to me your guitar is pouring out words). Because of that, I have put lyrics to some of them..“Three sheets” is such an inspirational one that I stuck on it and I believe I wrote a beautiful composition that talks about three hearts together (me, my wife and my daughter). I wish I could work this out with you and I hope you forgive this irresistible sacrilege.
Cordially and with all due respect,

I would love to see You do a documentary on the history of electric guitar, and iconic performers.
It would probably have to be a 3 parter but as you are a very commanding performer, intellectual musician, and very popular the world over I think it would be a great chance for You to do something a little different between performing and producing new work.
Carl Sagan did it for science, I think you could do it for music.
You interested?
(Alan Yentob did a series of TV programmes for the BBC here in the UK about 5 years ago, but I don't suppose you saw it yourself, but I think one of the music channels such as MTV, VH1, even Discovery Channel produce one and I would love to see your historical interpretation.)

NeddyB....great suggestion, I hope Joe considers it!!
Freddy....the bucket is exactly why I have a harder time getting into his music. It's too "gimmicky" for me, just give me straight ahead playing and I'm happy. Maybe one of these days I'll give him a fair shake, because the few softer songs of his I've heard, I've enjoyed. But damn....that stoopid bucket....maybe it's only a problem for me, so I guess I have issues. Nuthin new, lol!
