Good grief, Superdave. She said:
She does not yet know what she will do with the money.
"I've always wanted a Corvette, but I don't think I'll buy one. I'll stick to a small car. I might go to Mohegan Sun," she said, referring to the casino in Connecticut. "I'm going to go home and sit and think."
Hey granny, why not buy yourself a JS Black Dog or 20th anniversary instead of the Corvette, or the casino, you'd get the same use out of them!

Randell, I bet making that was fun! I don't know which one you are though. What color shirt were you wearing, and what part of the movie are you in? Ya know, you can tell I'm a mom...the fight scene by the bay windows...I was thinking "If you kids break that window I'm gonna stick my foot in yer asses!" LOL!
SupaaDupaaDave, why does it always take till yer one foot out the door to win a nice lottery like that? Let 'em win at 30 - NO. Let 'em win at 40 - NO. Let 'em win at 50 - NO. Let's make 'em wait till their closing in on 80!! Just doesn't seem fair. At least you get to leave monies...if the nursing home doesn't get it all.

Michelle--Thanks for the 1940s music. Nice to revisit.
Skippygirl--You are on the road to guitar ecstasy!! Just take one step at a time.
Ozzy_Fudd--Toy boy? Are you volunteering? Would you like someone to "borrow" you? I didn't know you had the time for other pursuits with all your wabbit chasing...lol!!

Hey Joe, I've always wondered.
What bands do you listen to when your listening to music.
Do you listen to your own stuff or do you just play away on your guitar?
I heard somewhere that it was bad luck to listen to your own stuff, like your albums and such.
Thanks.

Hey to everyone here, happy new year to all.
Can't wait for that new Live in Paris concert to come out and Chickenfoot!
But in the meantime I wonder if someone might be able to help me figure something out.
There are a couple of web casts up on this link below:
http://www.foreverjoe.com/main.html
Under the "Media" section there's a video titled "Joe Satriani - Live in Anaheim 2005." I'd like to capture that one off onto my computer hard drive, if that's possible, so I can watch it on a larger screen than my computer monitor. Plus I could watch it with friends. It's a great web cast with some of my favorite songs played live!
Any comments or idea's, software, programs that anyone would know of that would allow me to do that?
I'd be very grateful.
Thanks in advance,
WhammyFreak

GGirl: If you like what you see/hear, then try and get hold of one of their DVDs, they really are quite an amazing band to watch.
anibur: You should hear me in the flesh...it would probably be a dissapointment, I sound boringly normal. :)
ibanez_god: Wanted to try diving once, didn't for some reason. Pity really, sounds like you make a fair living from it!
WhammyFreak: If what Mr.Shroom said doesn't work, then get this addon for firefox. Oly work if you have firefox though...

Thanks for the suggestion, but there's no DVD for this concert or I would buy it.
Slans, all I see is a part of that concert, Moroccan Sunset (awesome track, Joe, make more like it) I can't find the whole two hour concert on youtube.
This concert is from 2005, and not the Live In Anaheim of the Super Colossal tour, of which I have bought the DVD.
I just want this one for my collection cuz it's such a great concert.
I already have one from the Strange Beautiful Music tour, a full two hour concert, Joe plays more RARE tracks LIVE!!! Awesome concert, I asked a long time ago to see him play Why live, he did in that one, I am so happy!!!
But anyway, any help that I could get from you all would be appreciated.

whammyfreak.....that show was killer, my son and I were in Anaheim right at the stage for it and we can even see ourselves now and again in it. Best setlist ever, imo!
After the concert I kept my eyes peeled and a bootleg dvd of that show did appear on ebay for sale. It pops up every now and then, so keep an eye out for it. There are also various people out there who like to trade bootlegs.
Another suggestion....I have a good friend, my guitar guy, who is able sometimes to capture videos like this from the web and burn them to dvd for me. You might try to find someone who can do that for you as the computer hasta have the right "stuff" to do that...I don't pretend to understand how he does it :) ....and you can also try contacting the administrator of the foreverjoe.com site...His name is Sam and he's a really nice guy. See if there's anything he can do to help you out.
The webcast is a little shorter than the actual show was, I believe they cut 5 or 6 songs out that Joe actually played that night. This tour was for the ITLIS album and was called An Evening With Joe...almost 3 hours of pure Joe....BEST EVER!!! And we saw this show 6 times on that tour, LOL.....
Proud to be a Satchaholic, or Satch-ho fer short :)
Chelle...I watched the whooooooooooooooole thing.....tanks fer starting my Sundee out....in such an.....interesting way......

Happy New Year everyone - yep, I know it's a little late but hey, I wasn't here
Rialton - you're funny. So, it's plainly a video of Joe due to it BEING Joe, but because there's a 'mistake' that means it might not be Joe. That's so funny. Joe makes mistakes and is not a robot. Hope you've restrung your guitar ok
Cube - you must have so much gear! Hope you have a big house or large studio or something. Had to check out the plexi pedal - good demo online luckily. Thanks for the info
Michelle - seems like everyone around me has had flu for Christmas. Ma & Pa gave it to me for Chrismas : ) Ah yes, dressing gown does = bath robe... but you caught me. It was indeed that dress you posted that I was wearing LOL
JS1200JS1000 - ok, shall I rephrase? You make lots of cool and interesting posts, but that one was one of the BEST so far : ) I'm ok ta, you? What did Santa bring?
Skippygirl - and so it has begun!? How's the progress and how's yer fingers?
Igneousiceman - congrats to Hoy in the honours list. Have you seen his new advert? I notice he turns into a transformer halfway through (just check the audio!) : )
Glitzman - hi, how ya doin?
Cheese / Do The Stu - I caught the end of Kingpin on TV and noticed it was filmed at the Silver Legacy.. .but can't say I recognised it. Was there another part to the hotel that I skipped somehow?
Oh, fun times...
Here's another guitar vid from me - The Extremist
Have a good day everyone

McKenna--Please get well. Drink lots a tea and orange juice and chicken soup. I hope Joe's music and your guitar help you forget about your predicament for awhile. I am confident you'll get through this soon. Maybe Campbell, Cube and Slans have suggestions as well.
Ozzy_Fudd--You are a funny guy. I like your "chase those wascully wabbits" attitude. I hope your best dreams come true.
I'm curious. Does the Netherlands have a dry season?
Top of the mornin' to all you T2Jers.

Joe Satrini Hey phil, the purple plexi is great .. its my main drive,, i also like the box of metal for heavier boogie type tones, and of course a tube screamer is a must. sadly i don't have a big studio or house,, my gear lives in 1/3 of my total space..haha
