Mr Satriani,
When are you coming back to Michigan? I want to take my son to one of your concerts. He's 15 now and I'd like him to see you live. You did quite a few shows in in the early 90's in Kalamazoo. I haven't seen you play in almost 20 years. (My fault) Please come back again!
Thanks,
Horst Sprader

Good Morning Satchland.....How are you peeps?
Greg Koch is an amazing player. I've seen him at Fender clinics a couple of times and he's a riot to watch. Greg is also on Vai's Favored Nations label and has a few DVD's out on the techniques of SRV,Skynyrd and some others I can't remember...Sorry.... This guy has more fun "Spanking" a Tele and rips into Classics in this vid. Check him out.....

GlitzMan: The Original Album Classics is a great set, you get them in these nifty little Vinyl-alike covers. Oh, music's not bad either...:) Should be starting training for the college swimming team soon...bit nervous though, 'cos I've swum with the same people for about 5 years, so I don't actually know how good I am...Sounds odd I know. I bet a veteran of many races like you will have some pre competition advice...?

Al, that gives a whole new meaning to the words "skull cap".
Today the feckin' AXE was flying at work. My stomach is still in knots. TEN people were "terminated", and rumor has it, there's supposed to be 13. Either they didn't finish today, or they've gotten the rest who are on lay-off right now and we don't know about it. WTF is it gonna be like if things are gonna get worse before they get better. WTF are people supposed to do? I'm safe for today, but ya never know about tomorrow :-/

Thanks. I'm taking a 2 week voluntary lay off for the rest of the month, so who knows what's gonna happen while I'm gone? I'm scheduled to go back, and I hope it stays that way. One of the girls at work was in a panic and asking what she was gonna do if she got the axe. I told her to just pray for strength to deal with whatever comes her way. That's what I did, and that's what I'm gonna keep on doing. I just pray that all the people who are losing their jobs find happiness and prosperity elsewhere.

Hello everybody here in T2J. Im sick right now :(
It started the exact same time as my math exam ended. DAMN. Why couldnt it come four hours before :P xD
Now im playing guitar and i feel no pain or sickness at all. When i went to the toilet for some minutes ago i started feeling sick again. When i came back and started, then my sickness dissapeard. Strange. Music has some strange effect on us humans. that no one can explain.
GoldenGirl2: I really dont care what im wearing. I also dont know what im wearing :P I just wear the most comfortable clothes and shoes i got. I dont care about my look xD. I just wear what i have :P
Joe Satrini: Thanks. You like my theory :P
I have noticed you spell my name wrong everytime. This is not meant to hurt you at all. If it does, then sorry. It also haven't hurt me at all. But the first time i saw it, i just thought it was a mistake. But it isnt. nvm. Its still funny :P :D
10 posts to my post number 100! xD
To all of you really nice people: Have a great time and enjoy your music and life. And also keep well ;D

I took my first guitar lesson this afternoon and LIFE IS GOOD! Ry Kihn showed me the basics and had me playing 5 or 6 chords. He is helping me break through the preconceptions I had about playing, left over from when I played the violin--keeping my left wrist straight. Ry showed me it was okay to bend my left wrist as much as I needed to do the fingerings. What a relief!! I am floating on that beautiful blue cloud again!! Ry even gave me "homework" and I can't wait to do it!. This just goes to show that whoever Joe Satriani touches or teaches they are never the same---always the better for meeting him......and the circles move across the face of the earth!

I cannot believe no-one at all has a photo of Joe playing harmonica.
Maybe not keyboards, and other stuff, but come on, someone scan a photo for me for the site.
Chip in guys, more publicity for Joe.

All - I though of an easy way to sort the lawsuit issue. Which is better..... Joe Satriani or Coldplay. There's only one way to find out: Fight!
Looks like it's already been used to sort Duran Duran vs Spandau Ballet (1min 39)
Cheese - hi! Isn't it time to start planning chicken PA LMAO? Just thought I'd say "hello, how you doin?"
Michelle - hey there, driving home from work yesterday and saw a bumper sticker (similar to this) and thought of
you : ) Good vibes about your job, stay positive
Blue Moon - Al, good to hear yer flu's gone. Another holiday? What are you like...
Railton - you're right (about your name). Sorry, guess I should use cut & paste huh! How'd I do this time? : )
Roo - ha, that post made me spit my drink. LMAO Needless to say the suspense is still suspenseful. Do you have an ETA on the project's "reveal"?
Skippygirl - hi S, yes that's one of the excercises. I think Joe says it's meaningless (musically) but good/useful. I have another one that I'll email you. Do you understand Tablature (is that how you're learning)?
There's also some hand excerciser things similar to a powerball, specific for guitar with varying strengths - think they're called Gripmaster?
Slanshroom - late, but congrats on the diploma (chordboy)!
Igneous - "patience young padawan"... ha, that's funny. Can the padawan be older than the jedi master though? Oh, and Star Wars or Star Trek or LOTR?
Some new stuff from Lance, I thought the vids were pretty cool - like training in Hawaii
Andy of UK - maybe it's just my mind, but "Anibur has relieved us all" could probably have been worded better? : )
Satriella - you posted Thinking of You.... which would make a good song title ; b
Glitz Man - so it sounds like you have a lot of nice areas to run in and like people watching while you're on your travels?
Anibur - the Radio one rock show recording of the Hammersmith Gig by any chance? I was there. Think I may have a copy on tape also, but also a CD version plus a lot of it is on Time Machine Disc 2?
Have a good day all

Chad, yer having a heat wave there :)
Millie, congrats on starting your lessons, when you find a passion in life you should pursue it if you can. There are many, many Joe videos out there with fantastic tips and advice.....when you have time, maybe you can check some of them out on youtube. He's a great teacher, and your fingers and lots of practice and lessons will do the rest :) Above all, have fun!
maritime, thanks for the Peavey link...my son is home for a visit this weekend and he loves being able to catch up on his "Joe-news", along with dominating the computer for tabs, videos, etc, lol....
Phil, I'd love to be able to start planning for ChickenPA '09....but we need a few tour dates to be announced first...oh, and I suppose a record would be important too, :) As soon as it starts, u know me, I'll start then too!
Joe, pretty please, couldya try really hard to make sure there's a Philly/Joisey/NY show or shows on the ChickenPA tour? We gotta hook up with chelle & co. this tour, and we ain't gettin her out west anytime soon, lol!! How's NAMM going? Have fun with the show tonight, wish we were there!
Glitzman, hello, sorry, I'm not on here much lately but will return the hi :)
Supaa Dave, my son says the new Nickelback cd is great...I haven't had the heart to listen to it yet, but I do like them.
Mckenna, be sure to leave Spain in as good of shape when you leave as it was when u got there.....
