Roo...
Go here to see the Dimebag Tribute Guitars
There's a picture of Joe's guitar, it's a little hard to see, but it's in the almost last row of pics.
Joe talked about it in the chat with us, just a bit. It ended up being very evocative, because of the unintended placement of one of Joe's drawings, on the back of the guitar. It was a drawing of Dime....and the holes in the back of the guitar ended up being on Dime's body.
All of the guitars done were amazing.
Edit: oh, if you continue scrolling down to gallery 2, Joe's guitar is picture #4. These were all published in a magazine, front and back of the guitars I think. Dunno if you can still find the mag or not, it came out back when the tribute was done.

Canada - eh!?... don't know if this is accurate but I read "Chickenfoot will be in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on August 2, 2009. The concert will be with Our Lady Peace, Finger 11 and Cheap Trick".....
.... and it's not just me who's spotted this either
Seperated at Birth
I'd better not mention the Satch/Voldemort one.. DOH....
Burly - ah, NASCAR.... taxi's on steroids really. I wish Montoya would stop being lazy and go back to Indycar. He was awesome there, and it's not working out in NASCAR. It was maybe me you were thinking of re driving?... if I was at my desktop I'd post a pic... I'll get to that
Do The Stu - I'd put forward driving at night for when you're driving at night : ) but maybe this one for some mellow cruising: Heart of the Sun
If anyone wants this track mail me....
Then on your list I'd have One Big Rush, Motorcycle Driver, Back to Shalla Bal etc etc... oh, and (cough) Summer Song : b
Igneous - I second who you're supporting but looking at testing (and you can never rely on testing of course) it's not looking good yet. Well, you frightened me (re 30mph) as I thought it might have been on the MTB. Sounds like you'd better start the hill climb practice then. I hate doing the same killer hill at least twice in the same session, but it works. Tired just thinking about it!
Scubadaz - sounds like you're a busy guy then. Does this sound like your day ha ha
Roo - ha, that's one of my favourites. What's the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?? As for white dog they should put the 1000WH back into the range too as I'd say that's an iconic guitar.... and I want one : )

Pip,..F1 cars are awesome I agree..I mean the transmission alone costs more than an entire NASCAR stock car..but..The NASCAR is much more difficult to drive. They are not nearly as forgiving when approaching corners..If you get into a corner too hot in a cup car road course race, you are very likely to spin...And even on the ovals, the cars are much harder to drive...No traction control..no automatic upshifting. In reality a 90 pound whimp with good driving skills can drive an F1all day long...but he will not hold up in a 500 mile NASCAR race...I am not saying NASCAR is better than F1 at all,..I am just saying that Montoya is working his arse off on Sundays.
Actually if you want to see true skill,..Come to the U.S. and watch some dirt track racing,...Something I could really get into is Road Rally..This is close to what I grew up doing on the backroads as a teenager...That's the way we drive in rural American backroads...well the adrenaline junkies anyway.
I want to do a F1 experience in the future,..How much does this cost in Europe?
Skippy- Is Marco Martin an Aussie?(Road Rally)

Satchurator update-...I found one of the presets on my GSP 2101 with a nice delay and killed the distortion and used the Satchurator,..I like it for a change,..It sounds really good with the gain backed down to about 1/3.. nice and gritty..been diggin on some slow c minor blues tonight for about 1 hour straight,..I love this pedal so far.

Joe,
I've invented a circuit that allows a whole new control for placement of effects on a pedalboard. All controlled from the pedalboard while playing. It is a wonder why no one has thought of it before. Please contact me. I'm trying to schedule an appointment with Peavey to pitch it to them. I have a patent on it already, but it could be improved upon. Please take a wild chance on this. I bet you'd use it if you like playing as much as I do, and like having more control of my effects while playing.
Please email me at glenpoland@yahoo.com if you're interested. And feel free to check to see if I'm for real.

AUSTIN: I second Pip's suggestion, you should just make a CD of all the recorded versions of Summer Song (official and bootlegs), and that should cover all your trip...
I love to drive and sing, I had a blast driving from El Paso to Tucson singing along to Scenes from a Memory, Train of Thought and Octavarium (all Dream Theater). Problem was, I blew out my vocal cords, took me about a year to be able to sing properly again!!
Still I would suggest the whole DT catalog, LTE 2, Paradise Lost by Symphony X, some Maiden, Megadeth, Disturbed, Miles Davis or Eric Johnson when you're driving towards the sunset.
Another stop you may want to make is between Alamogordo and Las Cruces, on I-70, I drove by there once and saw a sign for some sort of Nasa museum. I didn't stop, and have no idea of the name, but if you're into the space thing you probably want to stop by.

Got Blackhawks flying over our office at the moment for Grand Prix preparations in Melbourne.
The Who is playing the Grand Prix concert BTW, would be interesting...........
burly - I haven't heard of Marco Martin myself - I'm a general sports fan not a diehard car racing fan (talk to my brother, his cat's name is "Ambrose" LOL) so not sure.

Thanks for the music suggestions, everyone. No time to reply right now (other than to say Summer Song will be excluded...haha), but I'll catch up when I'm back.
Feel free to follow me on twitter if you like (http://twitter.com/alewis525), but I don't know how much I'll post there. And I can't access the internet with my phone so I won't be able to read your replies until after my trip.
I plan on taking lots of pictures and doing other stuff that I'll share when I return.
Oh, and if we get any huge Chickenfoot news (like tour dates or an album release date), I expect one of you T2Jers with my phone number to give me a call and let me know. :-)
I should be back late Friday night / early Saturday morning. Until then...

Scuba- I prefer conversation as opposed to surfing for the facts,.kinda like walking into the local farmer hangout and asking Jim Bob if it's gonna rain when I just watched the weather before leaving home. I take the "Tommy Boy" approach,..Like taking a good look at a t- bone steak by sticking my head up a bull's A**, but I'd rather take a butcher's word for it. Sometimes I may ask questions I already know the answer to and sometimes I am completely clueless...I just enjoy conversation..:)
