Fatape- Do you have Sammy's "Standing Hampton" Album,..It's a good one as well and ask Scuba what that means, I think the title was derived from the U.K...On that album is the song " Heavy Metal" and a killer version on that song is also on the "Heavy Metal Soundtrack", with heavier guitar and more intensity on the vocals, if that's possible for Sammy.
OK Aussies you have a delay pedal and a Wah,..I need a Flanger and a Stereo Chorus.
Wolf2...Hey buddy take it easy on the heart and good luck!!
Skippy- Yeah, what Scuba said...
All you ppl who are going to see the FOOT, enjoy!! and wish I could go too. Who is going to the SF show?
Scuba- He emailed me the answer,..It has something to do with palm muting on a single string, I'll forward it to you if you like,..I have not had time to try. I wish all of you would get with the rest of the world here on units of measure,..Everything is kg and km ,Skippy says the tele weighs ??kg..What is that?...You know I am kidding. When I was in elementary school, they told us we were going to have to learn the metric system because we would be switching to it within a few years. Which we did not??? Metric is so much easier, but they tried to complicate it by concentrating on how it related to our system of measures which was insane..Just throw away all the rulers and yard sticks and buy metric ones..problem solved.

burly: someone once explained to me they didn't end up shifting from miles in the US because the exits are designated by miles (exit 5).
Then you had a flow-on. You didn't change from miles, so you could not go to litres. That would make it "Miles per litre".
So I'm afraid you guys are stuck with it until the chinese take over.

Any ideas on what song of your's you intend on playing on the chickenfoot tour!?
Just wondering cause I read this from this site
Reportedly audiences can expect to hear songs from each of the bandmembers' careers. With classics from Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and some Joe Satriani instrumentals
Either way i shall be attending the Cork show most likely very hungover since its my B'day the day before, if your feelin fruity gime some Ice 9!
and what effect does vineger have on sprains Mr. burly? never heard that one

Roo...That may be sooner than we think..kinda scary but with limits to what I can do, I just gotta laugh about it.
I have considered entering the robot challenge to raise enough $ to accompany Chickenfoot on the upcoming tour...
G'nite and g'day!!..It's bed time

Wow! I am just checking-in. (You have many friends.)
Where did you learn music from?
Besides-from yourself. =)
I didn't like Country Western at 5, (In-what?- the 60's.)
but 'have learned to appreciate the foundations of-it,
after a while. (Why does it get-on my nerves-so?!)
I enjoy the music from the movie : Cars. and Road House,
and Beyond the Law, and Thunderheart & I'd better not say.
I have listened-to Grand Funk Railroad and
Uriah Heep, and others for quite a bit.
Dang! - I've heard your music in my sleep.
Isn't it ironic?.....Yep, George Lynch, Zakk(?) Wilde,
Jimmy Chadwell, Laban Chadwell - Joe Walsh...
High Octane Coffee?... - That's me.
I hope you're well. Your '90's music fried Everything else
back-then. And I know YOU know what I mean.
No one can play-it like you-do. =) 'Love ya, The Zoo Crew!
But Hey!- I DO also, -what do YOU think-of Dave Mustaine?
'Haven't seen him lately. In fact: I've NEVER seen him.
However, I DO appreciate his music. W/B/S ~ Laura ~

So, after I ranted about that, I went to the website of a local club that brings all sorts of bands down here, from death to punk-pop. They have Michael Schenker Group coming in June!! I have heard soooo many good things about him but I've yet to hear a single song, so now I have some investigating to do. Something good did come out after all. Later!

McKenna the middle joint of your finger is displaced, go see the doctor. You're a guitarist, so no "I'll see how it is tomorrow", but asap. What do you think Joe would do??? Exactly!

Alan-Very good playing...A dedicated player..Doesn't gripping the pick hurt?
My little brother's father Dr.John was a studio guitarist in the late 50s down in New Orleans. He was also pretty much a gangster and ended up getting shot in the hand, which made playing difficult, so he switched to the piano, and the rest is history. So there you go Alan, if your finger renders your playing difficult you can switch to another instrument...Mac (dr. John) can still play guitar very well but the piano seemed to be easier for him at the time.
Here are a couple more links: Mac's Boogie and With Eric Clapton (VH1 Duets)

Nois, Al, nois. Just realised you pick really close to the neck? Why is that? I've been resting the heel of my palm on the bridge to give it an orientation point to reference the 6 strings' locations (i.e. so I don't think I'm on certain string when I aint).
roo - lucky you and lucky Mrs roo getting a Euror/CF trip.
scuby - great idea to raise the funds, I would easily organise the whole T2J tour, it's more so not being able to take the time off though. Checked your vid again and, yeah the guitar doesn't move, why does mine keep dropping to horizontal? Yours looks to be about 25-30% from horizontal.
Gotta go, AFL season STARTS TONIGHT yeah! with my team in the opening round woo hoo!!!!!! We come from Tigerland, da da da da da.........

McKenna "sprained" is temporarely displaced (out of it's place, overstretched, torn, fucked up) and that it came back to it's original place doesn't mean it isn't bad Lance Amstrongs collar bone is back from 4 pieces to one, and back in place. Still it is completely fucked up for some time. Ya know. A doctor knows if something heals in the right place and the right way so it won't stay bend all over the place forever. Don't gamble. Better safe than sorry, etc
And I didn't have to look close for that trunk!
