Slansh-Great interview and interesting story. Thanks for the insight on recording and BTW I will be upgrading to a MAC before I purchase software unless the software version will work on the PC and MAC..?? Are there 2 different versions or will it work on either? I am guessing that if Leopard will run Windows you can use the same software..I badly want a Roland TD-20 kit but can't really swing it now. The wife wants to replace the carpets with hardwood which we can't afford right now either but..ya know.....I will have to settle for the virtual drummer as well.
Alan- Stop drinkin' while you're young..take my advise you will thank me for it later. We all want to see a healthy Alan McKenna playing guitar. Life By the Drop
Take Stevie's word for it.

Happy Easter all,
My SF sister visited for the weekend, just said good-by to her at Caltrain station, she's home by now.
We visited "Little Ireland" of Sunnyvale at Murphy Ave./Murphy Station. The Murphy family left Eire in the late 18th century and landed in California in early 19th century to farm what was to be called the "Valley of Heart's Delight" with it's fertile soil and great crops of apricots, pears, prunes and cherries. A fruit feast for the whole world!
Then the Macleans (gotta have the Scottish element) moved to Cali and the Doyles moved over here and the rest is history!! The L Doyle man (originally from Cambria, Cali) went into "far-out country" and reached for the stars and ended up working for SETI at NASA/Ames in Mountain View (also used to be orchard country)! Wow, what a trip! So many Irish people to meet and so little time!! The Catholic part I can do without......too stolid and cruel....where is the humanity?
There are at least 2 Irish pubs on Murphy Ave.----one is called Murphy's Law.....an attorney's hangout??? hee hee!! Come on over and check it out all you Irish-loving peoples. The Irish get together with peoples from all over the world just ta have good times!! Yeeess!

So I had a vegetarian meal for Easter dinner...those of you who have been on an In-N-Out run with me (or saw some of the food pictures from my vacation) probably find that hard to believe, haha, but it was actually pretty good. I won't be changing my eating habits, but...
scubadaz - Awesome...I think that might be the first airplay for Chickenfoot. I don't think any stations in the US have played either of the two songs we have access to...
Listening to: Lunatic Soul - Lunatic Soul (current song: Out On A Limb)

Awesome...or Oh Yeah, rather. ;-) I'm glad I decided to stay up so late tonight...haha.
A few questions, for someone (webmaster Jon?):
- Are the posted on-sale dates for the fanclub presales, or for the public sales? I don't see any Ticketmaster or Live Nation listings yet.
- Will VIP packages be available for these shows, or are those not planned until the fall tour?
Listening to: Chickenfoot - Oh Yeah
I'll post more about this song later, but for now I'll say it's my favorite of the three we've heard. It really does sound like a combination of RHCP, VH, and Satch...just the sound I was thinking this project would have.

slans: Sounds good, nice to hear about someone doing something other than just trying to copy Joe! Good luck with all that...(oh, and best of luck to your Son as well :)
DoTheStu: Oh I noticed Stu all right, geez what were those guys on? ;) Love it: Stuart Hamm - Munchkin Vocals and others. It's ok anyway, it has Flex-able leftovers as well!
Listening to: Oh Yeah by Chickenfoot (I agree with Austin, I think it's the best of the 3...)

Igneousiceman: being my first Wah pedal, I'm still playing with how to use it to the best effect. Due to lack of knowledge on Wah 's I can only say I like how it sounds. I'm still playing with the setup order of my pedals. Any suggestions? here's what I have. Satchurator, Time Machine, Big Bad Wah, Behringer Digital Delay DD100. It's all running through a JSX Combo.

Thanks scuba, That's pretty much what I was thinking. It will have to wait for the morning to try it out. I was running every thing through the loop and thought it time to experiment a bit.

Ozzy_Fudd: Oh...you'll learn to love the Wah, great bit of kit. You're lucky to get one such as the Joe one first as well, there's been some winging about the Cybaby not being like it used to or something. Anyway, what's the Behringer delay like? I've got a Blues Overdrive by them that I love...worth the money? ;)

I picked up the Behringer delay out of a cheap bin. I thought it was cool until the TM came along. It really adds a nice touch when added to the TM.
