Yep. Tracie, San Fran is a walk around, bike around, take public transit, happenin' place! It's a great city to walk around and have good time adventures. Thanks for your linkies of Joe!
Wow, Michelle, scubadaz, and everyone else who gives out links to VH, RHCP, Steve Vai and Joe......tough to keep my socks and shoes on! I feel a buzzing high like no other right now!
The latest song on the "don't play list at funerals" is AC/DC's Highway to Hell!! This from our friend Tom Morton of BBC Radio Scotland!! ;-D
Al McKenna--If Steve Vai or Steve Morse don't take ya on as an apprentice guitar player........I'll seriously wonder why I was born and what I am witnessing ---There's gotta be a place for ya in the world of music and musicians. Theys a great fun career and promising future.
Actually, my desire for peoples is to enjoy their work---I know jobs are scarce these days, but I'm pullin' for you and praying myself to sleep at night hoping for the best decisions to go forward to create good, healthy, fun jobs like I have at the library. The library is often like a huge study hall with people finding educational and entertaining books, DVDs and CDs. It's so cool helping people find what they need.
The American Way needs a serious overhaul! Why are we so polarized and disconnected? The last paragraph of Bob Herbert's Pittsburgh report, New York Times from 14April2009.."Murderous gunfire claims many more victims than those who are actually felled by the bullets. But all the expressions of horror at the violence and pity for the dead and those who loved them ring hollow in a society that is neither mature nor civilized enough to do anything about it." How true...and sad! Is it any wonder why people in this country are depressed and anxious! HELP!

Alan--It's great that you are who you is! I'm not sure about these people who call you Albert or Ally or Alfred or Alvin....What's up with all that? They just got a bunch of nuts rattling around in their heads........attracts squirrels and that's about it!
Why can't this be love? "Straight from the heart......"

Guitarvibes---The Dutch generally know what civilization is all about, don't they? I would that compassion, insight, foresight and civility were the rule of our times all over the world.
Somalia, Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Burma and so many other places need to wake up to compassion and civility....messes, anarchy, life so cheap----how long will that take is anyone's guess. And the United States of America.......so needs to wake up.......sigh!

You nailed it on the head Millie. I call Al ~ Ally, Alan, Mc, Albert, fucktard, ATM, cockfart, McKenna, Irish bastid and anything else that comes to mind. He's a lovely man and doesn't mind a bit as long as my foot isn't broke off in his ass ;-) He's a true natures gentleman, and he's one of Dublin's finest!
Finest what I haven't figured out yet, but I love him like the son I never wanted. When he moves into my basement studio we'll sit and have long talks over bottles of cheap whiskey while I braid his hair as he tells me stories from back home.
Good times man, good times.

Skippy and Pip:
All in good time.
I was very lucky to have the opportunity and the planets align to have 2 very fantastic artists and very nice people agree to paint some guitars for me.
So I purchased a couple of spanking new JS1000s last year, had the bodies stripped and re-primed, and currently they are with the artists. The first one is completed and is incredible (even just from a photo!). And I know the second one will be awesome too. Very personalized and very unique, I absolutely cannot wait to see them in person and pick them up!!! WooHoo. Apparently they have both enjoyed the project also, which, for an artist is the best thing I think, it's great to work on something you look forward to doing every day.
I am also very lucky to have met them and they are both very nice people, the sort of genuine and caring people you seem only to meet very infrequently.
Anyway. be patient, pictures (lo-res) will be coming on my site when I've picked them up, and have them sealed and reassembled.

Message for Chickenheads from Chickenfoot.us
NEWS
Apr 21 2009
ROAD TEST SOLD OUT!
Beyond our expectations, the public onsales for the 9 Road Test shows sold out all tickets in record time. The band was blown away by your response and can't wait to take the show on the road!
Please remember that all shows require photo ID to enter the venue, so we advise you to NOT buy tickets from online ticket brokers.
Chickenfoot will be back in August and September to play a major North American tour and there will be sufficient tickets to meet your demands. Due to the size of the venues for these shows, we do not forsee any issues with presale availability.
Fans who joined the fan club and were unable to get a Road Test presale ticket, we hope you keep your membership in expectation of the upcoming tour announcement.
if you have any questions or concerns about your membership, please contact ORDERHELP@FANFIRE.COM.
The boys are in rehearsal this week, and we'll see you on the road!

Michelle: I saw Disturbed a couple of months ago, they kick all sorts of @ss live. The songs I recall them playing (not in order) were Stupify, Liberate, Down w/the Sickness, Prayer, Land of Confussion, Indestructible and various others that I don't know the names of. Oddly, I don't recall them playing Remember (one of my faves), I guess I forgot!!! :)

Hey Joe.
I think I already apologised but I am soooo disappointed to miss out on the kick-off for chickenfoot. I haven't given up on getting to Europe, but USA looks to be getting sold out anyway.
VERY disappointed. Please, if you think of it, can you grab a shirt/poster/etc for me? Long shot I know, but I wouldn't be a diehard fan if I didn't try! :)
LOL
On the positive side, if you guys are selling every venue out, I am sure you will be touring long enough for me to get to see a show.
Thanks man,
Roo

Igneousiceman - I have briefly surfed the net and cannot find one for sale at all... If you are interested though let me know.
Do The Stu - I have been working hard in my new band which is full of kick ass rock and roll fornted by a fine looking lady. The band is called Angel of Sin and to everyone else please feel free to check out the site.
Also... Guitar for sale - Ibanez PGM model in white with black F holes. Owned guitar since new. It has also been signed AND played by Paul Gilbert himself (photos taken of this). Monster tone and unreal playability. Comes with original hard case and all other bit and pieces. £750 ovno - priced for quick sale. Will also include photos from the night it was played (Leeds Rios 2007) and some from the second show last year - these are not normal shots from in the crowd with a second rate camera - I was the only official photographer at both events so shots are ace!!! If interested please email me (email address is on my profile) or dropme a message on here.
Cheers,
Aarren

So the big venues it will be, has to be, there'll be so much market for Chickenfoot it will be huge.

Hello everybody!
Me, one from my class and 2 teachers have made a totally different version of "Another Day in Paradise" by Phil Collins. Only the text of the song is the same (Sorry Phil). The reason of stealing the lyrics is a little long story, that i probably will write later (if you want to hear it). We are soon finished recording it. It sounds totally awesome! We only need to record the guitar solo's and re-record the chorus. The song is going to be totally awesone. Cant wait to upload it to youtube and get sued by Phil Collins himself. :D
I have recorded a very short song i made. Sorry Satch, but i couldnt find an other name for it. It just fitted to the song. I was thinking of a old friend that i miss alot, when i made the song. The song is called Thinking of you. Press on the title if you want to hear it. It is a very relaxing and emotional song, but also a kind of sad. Really calming song
3 more posts till 100 posts at T2J. SATCH ROOOCKS!!!
Listning to: The unfinished version of Another Day in Paradise by my classes band (Sorry Phil for stealing the lyrics)
