Hey Michelle,
Not to burst your bubble.... but, BOTH sides are bad.
Look up senate bill 1959 and read the wording carefully, then understand that they BOTH supported it.
The first why to control dissenters of any type..
1. Control language
2. remove weapons
Hey isn't it kinda funny that the Bill of Rights has freedom of speech and the right to bear arms as 1 and 2?
Obama is the straight up in your face idiot and McCain is the devil in plain sight, yet no body want to recognize either.
If it weren't for the media, Obama would be a nobody.... McCain's campaign was dead and BROKE....
Now these are the 2 choices we get for president? If people are so idiotic that they can't see that, then they get what they deserve.
Obama..."98% of small businesses make less than $250,000 a year."..... actually this is BS....The Small Business Administration's criteria for being called a small business is DIFFERENT depending upon the industry they are in... and revenues are typically still in the MILLIONS. You think a local Pizza Hut franchise is gonna survive on just $250,000 a year.... just 10 employees earning $20,000 a year would kill their budget.
McCain..... McCain-Feingold, McCain-Kennedy, Fairness Doctrine and much more...
BTW gov't controlled business is called COMMUNISM.... and it doesn't exist without FASCISM to push it, unless people are unwilling or uable to fight back.
Why doesn't congress just called itself the POLITBURO and get it over with?
The people is our congress (hey, isn't that the opposite of progress?...) have caused this problem. They want unless to be weak and weary so that we will just accept whatever solutions that they push, even if they are to our own detriment. Because that is what they WANT.... power and money... the same old same old as all through history....
BTW under SR 1959... by my speech here... I could be called a terrorist.
What is the quote? All good men need to do for evil to win is.... NOTHING.
LAter,

Michelle--I think you're pessing off Blue Moon.
I'm not sure what's up with GuitarSamari--he seems to think Obama and McCain are both terrible for this country.
If we all take up arms and start shooting each other in the streets (after all, isn't that the way we read the 2nd amendment to our constitution)--I'm off to Canada where people are reasonable, have common sense and truly believe in peace and practice it consistently.
I'm tired of our government pessing off all the rest of the world. When are we going to stop quarreling like a mob of bratty children and become reasonable grown-ups?

We need to listen REALLY listen to what the rest of the world is talking about. We are so wrapped up in our on stars and stripes we can't hear what they are saying about us in Canada, UK, Australia, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, Italy..........Need I say more?
Who reads the Financial Times? The Independent? The Globalist?
Maybe we can learn from these news sources instead of insisting we ALREADY KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT EVERYTHING!!
Look at the WHOLE PICTURE and stop pessing me off!!!

If you knew how much I love Canada, you would allow me to tiptoe in. I promise I won't leave but a very small carbon footprint!

OK if you want a change of topic - it's the Melbourne Cup here next Tuesday - do any of you watch it??? Sure it will be on your sporting channels.
We lucky Victorians get a public holiday (so of course we all take Monday off and make it a long weekend) and all of Australia (no exaggeration) will stop to watch the race, which is usually round 3pm.
Here in Melbourne there will be many, many BBQ's, crazy hats and outfits, and if you do get to see some coverage from the Flemington racecourse you will see some interesting dressups.
Maybe next year I might plan to go with a bunch of girlfirends and we'll all dress up as Joe and take guitars.

Miss Mary Mac?
Aerosmith - Walkin' The Dog
EDIT - I found a better video...
Igneousiceman - Yeah, I've heard Cool #9 a bunch...probably at 15 of the 18 shows I've been to (I went to two in-stores where it wasn't played, and I'm not remembering it being played on the tour with Deep Purple).
What bugs me about Out Of The Sunrise being dropped is that the first time I heard it I thought it could be Joe's next Cool #9, meaning they could really jam out with it when they play live and build up an improv intro and everything. I told Joe that when I met him on the Guitar Center tour in April, too, but oh well.
Tuesdayschild - Yeah, Laurel Canyon has a few scenes in it that definitely aren't appropriate for younger people. It's probably only five minutes or so of the film as a whole, but the moments are scattered so it'd be hard to skip them.
Of course the decision is yours ,and you should obviously see the movie first, but I think Almost Famous would be fine for your children. I normally watch the director's cut, which has heavier language and a split-second of nudity, but the regular version isn't too bad. There's drinking, but there's no direct drug use (though there is some talk of it, and one scene that deals with the after effects of abuse).
Anyway, I'll stop...until you actually watch them, that is. ;-)
mowlie_2000 - Hi...it's cool to see you here again. What've you been up to lately?
Railton - The YouTube Live thing is based in San Francisco, I believe, and it starts at 5 p.m. local (Pacific) time on Saturday, 11/22. So the road page is correct (although depending on the time zone you're in, it might be early on 11/23 for you).
Blue_Moon - The T2J clock runs on San Francisco time...why would you think things on the Road page would be any different? ;-)
ZuperDave / michelle - Yeah, that's pretty disgusting. I don't buy the line about them being for his kids...he probably sees the seats as an investment, and he'll be scalping tickets whenever the Jets hit a winning streak.
...Austin...

Joe...Have a great show tonight ! But make sure you keep an eye on those guitars. Remember what happened a few years ago at this venue? You lost one of your most treasured axes. Tell Mike to skip the cigarette break and "lock on" to those guitars...lol..just kidding Mike. You still need to quit the "butts" though. Holy buckets, I'm coming up on 5 years without a cigarette.

Doo the Stooo - thanks for the shout back - we had a great time. Would love to do the MnG next time yer out this way. Anywhere close by is fine, but Richmond would be great.
Brittanysdaddy - I hear ya! Look at it this way "Scales are in solos but solo's are not scales." You simply cannot play scales backwards and forwards and call it soloing. There are lots of on-line sites you can avail yourself of that will help you with your study. Joe offers lessons here. Google "guitar tab" and see what comes up. Sad to say nothing replaces time in the woodshed. Remember - its the journey not the destination that is important.
Hope everyone has a really great day and could we leave the "talk politique" to the pundits or at the least another website?

A Moral Story
An old man, a boy & a donkey were going to town.
The boy rode on the donkey & the old man walked.
As they went along they passed some people
Who remarked it was a shame the old man
Was walking and the boy was riding.
The man and boy thought maybe the critics were right,
So they changed positions.
Then, later, they passed some people who remarked,
'What a shame, he makes that little boy walk.'
So they then decided they'd both walk!
Soon they passed some more people who thought
They were stupid to walk when they had a
Decent donkey to ride.
So, they both rode the donkey.
Now they passed some people
Who shamed them by saying how awful to
Put such a load on a poor donkey.
The boy and man figured they were probably right,
So they decide to carry the donkey.
As they crossed the bridge,
They lost their grip on the animal
And he fell into the river and drowned.
The moral of the story?
If you try to please everyone,
You might as well...
Kiss your ass goodbye!

Well, I was at teh show on 10/28 at in Jacksonville. All I can say is wow! Was a great show, the new stuff sounded great and Joe really seemed to enjoy playing it.I brought a few friends who were not to familiar with Joe, and they were very immpressed. The band was incredibly tight. Stu was awesome as always, loved his solo. Am tempted to go to Orlando on Friday to see the show again!
Thanks Joe, come back soon!

mikesb, I like yer Mary Mac vid way better. lol! No wonder the Irish drink. So much of their feckin music is set for a party. lol!
T-bones, stop at the health store today and (I wanna say buy some health - lol - I mean health FOOD store) buy some melatonin and start taking it every night. See if that helps yer perty lil' head rest better. Listen to this. It's better for you than JT. lol! Puts me right to sleep anyways. lmao! pat*pat*pat*
GuitarSamuri, yer not gonna burst my bubble. The only thing that will do that is if America chooses another Bush. I hate politics, but I'd rather have someone who is a positive energy and light force in charge than someone who is so full of negativity and deceit. The McPalin campaign has been 10% issues, 90% smear campaign. Like a couple of kids who don't have any broughtupsie. Anyways, who would you have as president? Ted Nugent?
GGirl, it's my job to piss off McKenna (BM) as much as possible. lol! Like my dad always says - it's better to be pissed off than to be pissed on ;- )
Austin, nice vid!
jamie, I think I managed 2 hugs :-) It was quick because we were outside in the cold and we didn't want Joe to get sick. His jacket was to thin that night, and I'm sure he was still warm from the show, so it was prolly very cold when he stepped outside. I dig reading everyone's stories about meeting Joe. They're like "He was so down to earth and gracious." It's so cool to see other people get to have that feeling too, cause after all, Joe is the best! lol!
Al, yer so michael jackson. lmmfao!!!! Only you would do that. To damn funny!
