ibanezguitars - If Zenfish doesn't get back to you, just ask and I'll tell you what Jeff Beck played at the two LA shows back in April (I found bootlegs of them). Obviously another European show would have a better chance at a similar setlist, but...
burly - Yeah, Sammy is a competent guitarist...he could hold his own if he continued to work at it (although at his age and with his career he by no means needs to). I hope he pushes himself a bit though...I hope everyone gets "pushed", actually.
I'm wondering how the tour will play out as well. And I don't want to sound selfish, but I'd rather have a second album from them before they come through some markets for the second or third time.
Listening to: Eric Johnson - Camel's Night Out
;-)
...Austin...

skippygirl, I resent not being included in the left handed Ibanez guitar link :(...
now, I don't think Al would go for them cuz he always says he wouldn't get a signature model... I'd try both and then decide... If I had the money, I'd probably buy both...
Now, Ibanez offers a lot of things lefty for Japan and Europe only, so who the hell knows!

Hey Joe, I donīt know if youīll ever see this little message of mine, but I have to let it out somewhere. On Wednesday last week I travelled all the way to Copenhagen from the other end of Denmark, where I live, just to find out the Chickenfoot-show was cancelled. Apparently the Hamburg- and Copenhagenshows were cancelled Monday evening and the last time I checked the Vega-website was on Monday afternoon........
Many times before I have travelled both in Denmark and abroad to see you perform and I do it gladly because the shows stay with me for days and sometimes weeks. Maybe that is why I still canīt shake the feeling of huge disappointment. I was really looking forward to see you perform in this great new constellation and now I may never get the chance to do so.
I know worse things could have happened to me (like a planecrash or heartattack!) but missing out on this extraordinary event is almost devastating. I sure donīt want you guys to jeopardize the health of a bandmember, so my next thought was:"Why donīt you fly in Jeff Campitelli??!!.." What Jeff may lack in explosiveness he adds up for plenty in colour and sensitivity!
Anyway, just had to "tell" somebody who understands what a huge downer it was facing the Chickenfoot-cancellation. See you next time around! Best to all, Lea in Denmark

Cube in bright blue spandex shorts, eek, Conch FFS just the thought of it made the milk in me tea curdle!!
....and Conch, talking of nuts....
There was a young man from Devises
Who had bollocks of different sizes
One was so small it was no use at all
But the other was big and won prizes.
Oh yeah and another thing...
Fellow walks into the doctors wearing only underpants (shorts) made from clingfilm (clingwrap, gladwrap). The doc says "you've got the wrong type of doctor's mate, I can plainly see you're nuts.

I never knew camels had toes until this term came about.
Skippy- can I be in the lefty bin as well?..No I'm not a lefty, I just don't want to be left out.
Austin- Yes I agree. Sam should play more. Not to say he should solo but he does add a nice sound.
Alan- Nice version of Oriental Melody BTW

Ok friends.
Sete has gotten Jeff Beck at his best. The maęstro has given to us all his love of guitar & music.
Sete has been very lucky.
I spent the concert very close of the stage, the team, the maęstro & his amps.
A review.. give me few time, please.

Okay peoples, big news, LISTEN UP!!!
Because my son (and I got to tag along, lol) got to do a private lesson with Joe through the Grammy charity auctions last year, I have remained on the mailing list for upcoming events.....and they asked for feedback on what I'd like to see if possible, so of course I wrote and raved about our experience with Joe, and also about Chickenfoot....
I just heard back from them...now...hold onto yer BRITCHES!!!
Joe has agreed to do another private lesson for their auction coming up in JULY, OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! This launches on July 21st, so those of you interested, keep yer eyes PEELED on ebay for Grammy auctions!!
When I bid before, you first had to call them and set up a maximum bid limit, they had to approve u and then away you go with the bidding. I think we got an incredible price, don't know if it will go fer what I paid or not, likely to go higher, but for anyone who can afford it.....
OMG IT'S SOOOOO WORTH IT!!!
They also said they are already working with Chickenfoot to put together an auction for a VIP experience with them, details to come later, so I'll let you all know when I know....
HAPPY BIDDING TO ANY WHO TRY!!! Wish we could do it all over again, but...hey...someone else needs to be blessed as we were :)
