Hi Joe....hey pretty cool...I have started listening to Planet Rock online while I am at work....and they just played some Chickenfoot!!! YAY!!!
Oh should explain the court case this time is just a bit waste of time...I (and ex) will sit there for a couple of hours...the judge will say...do this by this date and that by that date and come back 8 weeks after that!
MikeSB - Of course I remember Edward...I tracked him down last year too, got his Vendetta album, I have to say I wasn't as keen on that (too much singing not enough guitar!) as his other two albums I got the first time, but if he is going back to just him playing and its more rocky, as per the link...fan-bloomin-tastic! Love im....How are you?
Cappy - Thanks matey...soz to hear bout your problems...i guess we all got em one way or another.
Pip - thanks me matey!
Hugs Satriella xx
mcDave - Well done...what made you think you wouldn't make it to 40?

Just sold the house! Woohoo. Scary and exciting, new chapter in our life. New state, new jobs, new everything!
Working on getting to CA for the last 3 shows, who's going?
Legoland, Disney, etc etc for the kids too.
Great to see some blue Joe. Hope to catch chickenfoot live soon. Chickenfoot ROCKS!

Zenfish - Congrats on finding a band! I hope it works out well for you...
Skippygirl - I just replied to the email I think you were talking about...sorry for the delay!
McDave - 40? It must be a mistake! Haha... Happy birthday!
Guitarvibes - I know roo has at least one copy of Joe's first EP. I don't think any other regulars here have it, but I might be wrong.
They do show up on Ebay from time to time, for around $500. I was talking to Jeff Campitelli at an aftershow a few years ago and I mentioned this (he was signing my copy of Additional Creations, another rare item)...he told me he thought Joe still had boxes full of the first EP, and then joked about putting them on Ebay so he could buy a new big screen TV. ;-)
roo - Congrats on selling your house...has the housing market in Australia been as rough as it is here in the US? I don't know if problems like that are "global" or not. And where are you moving?
I'll be at the Berkeley and (as of a few minutes ago) Universal City Chickenfoot shows. I bought a ticket to that last one because it might be the last show for a while, if Chad is going back to the RHCP.
Oh, and the Gibson Amphitheater is connected to Universal Studios Hollywood, so you might as well work a stop there into your vacation plans if it's something your family will enjoy. How old are your children?
Feel free to drop me an email if you have any vacation questions...I can suggest plenty of things to do in SF/LA.
Guitarman77897 - I have a cheap Washburn that I love (great little bass, for as bottom-of-the-line as it is) and one of Stu's Fender Urge II basses.
Stu only plays his Urge basses today...most are the Urge II, and I think at least one is an original Urge. His are customized, though...he has five-string and fretless models, but the only production model is the four-string fretted bass. A lot of his colors (red glitter paint, gold hardware, etc.) are custom as well.
It's an awesome bass, but probably not one I'd recommend getting right away if you're new to the instrument.
Listening to: Metric - Fantasies (current song: Help I'm Alive (Acoustic))

Greetings to all. Glad to see Chickenfoot back on the road after a well deserved break. Can't wait to see the band next week and in September. I alone have spread massive Chickenfoot fever to my co-workers and other rock fans. Great comments from all! This band truly rocks! It's a shame that "The Foot" is not getting alot of airplay - it's almost criminal to be withholding this album from everyone who has yet to hear it! "Long Live the Foot!" Rock On1

*rolls up in a bigass beer truck*
There ya go. Pass 'em around. Don't be selfish. Plenty to go 'round!
I'll share my ice cold bottle of Jager, but ya gotta be worthy!
McDave, HAPPY 40TH!! I was amazed I made it to 40 also. lmao! All the abyoose of the 80's. LOL! Hi 5!
Fatape, here's a drunk playing psycho monkey . Same thing but different. Have another beer.
Roo, congrats on the house selling. YAY for you!
I'm reading Scar Tissue (Anthony Keidis) and I'm to the part where BSSM is blowin' up. Anthony says how Chad is a real ROCK drummer, but he plays funk for the band. He says Chad is his own man and does his own thing outside the band, unlike the other 3 who hang out with each other. Great book. Nice tidbits about band members, songs, and other rock ppl. I'm only half way through it because I only read it on lunch & breaks at work. The book is at about 1991 or so at the halfway mark.
Anyways, I'm thinking that in CF, Chad gets to be that rock drummer, and Joe gets to be that rhythm player, and Mikey gets to have room in the songs to air it out, and Sammy...well shit, Sammy is just doin' what he do. lol! No wonder the band always looks soooo freakin happy! Like 4 kids in a candy store!

Hello all; been busy of late and just caught up on 8 pages posts. Figures I've been gone and Joe does a couple of posts.
Hey Joe! Can't wait til the end of the month when we get to go to 3 shows! Sounds like the band is still having fun which is awesome. To quote Bill & Ted, "rock on dude".
I know a lot of people here play guitar but does anyone write lyrics?

Y'all need to stop the beer talk...I had to run down to the fridge and get one, on a Tuesday night...I can see my belly grow with every sip... :)
Zenfish: Congrats on the new band, enjoy!!
Scubadaz: I wish you success on your job hunt and the upcoming interview, stay positive and good things will come.
McDave: Congrats on the big 4-0, consider yourself pinched! jaja.
Roo: Congrats on all the good stuff surrounding u now, I can't imagine going thru all those changes at the same time, just moving into a new house is a harrowing experience in and of itself!! Side note, I have a picture of me and Joe inside a Universal Citywalk store, so take Austin's advice and hang around Universal when CF plays there.
Don1963: I wrote lyrics when I was in love, 4 songs worth, all dedicated to the love of my life...13 years later she grabbed my heart and tore it apart...never wrote lyrics since, but I'm kinda getting the urge back now, so who knows...
